This is something we are unlikely to increase - the Clan Chat change would also affect Friends chat and general chats as well because of how the engine works and the current character limits are based on volume and data. Any change to it would have significant overheads and create substantial storage issues. As such, while we can have a look at it, we are very much not likely to make the change. -

I'll direct the OP to the first of their Cons, for starters - 3% just for being on the same world as your clan avatar is already pretty nice, 6% is the absolute top end of what balancing would permit for a sustained buff. (Bonus XP isn't classed as sustained, since you have to go and get limited quantities of it from somewhere, and hence the limitations are different)

Part of what makes that possible is the tradeoff between organisation and convenience, too - the extra 3% is something of a reward for being grouped up as a clan, performing activities in game together, and we'd not be keen on losing that aspect by flattening it.

I do agree that orts need more use; of the contents of this thread, the most compelling notion is using a sum of orts to gain the 3% buff on any world as long as an avatar is currently active out of citadel. Even this has technical concerns (making sure the avatar is out when you're not on the same world with it, in particular, is unpleasant since obviously you can't check world-specific variables from a different world) and clips the edge of the note raised in the previous paragraph.

TLDR I'd like to add more use for orts, but this is not likely to be how we do it as in its current form it's just too problematic. Sorry. -

The fix allowing people to rejoin their old clan immediately should be going up this week. When they rejoin they should transfer their old resource total back with them, HOWEVER, individual resources except for summoning will not be tracked. The transfer also means that other people will not be able to check your resources in certain circumstances until the next build tick.

In short this means if you capped, left, or were kicked, then rejoined you would still be showing as capped as far as gathering resources are concerned.

From what I understand Mod Maz and the rest of the team are looking into giving us a mute function that allows us to mute single players rather than whole ranks (and subsequently all the ranks below that) without the permission rewrite. Where they are at with it though, and if it's even feasible at this point I'm not sure. All I know is that they were definitely looking into it.

I have added in your last quote to the existing post regarding individual mutes.
However, I haven't added in the quote from Blasty as it's not a JMod quote and the number cited in it is subject to fairly rapid change. Also, the update which allows members to rejoin their old clan immediately has already gone live so it doesn't really work as a post title. That said, the contents of the post is useful so I'll see if I can reword the title :) -
