Hey guys,

I've been quiet on the thread for some time because it seemed that people seemed fairly settled on their opinions. I've been doing all of the maths and spreadsheets behind the citadels and I'm pleased to say that the rebalance will be going out with the next update.

As it's coming (hopefully) soon, it makes sense to give you some rough figures of what I've done to the plots.

Cooking and Crafting - Unchanged. Literally nothing has changed.

Mining and Smithing - Been increased a little bit, between 10-15% on current rates. The rings, or bonus XP amount as it is these days, have been increased by the same amount.

Whilst these were already fairly popular, it's more of an increase based on the different methods and things introduced since the citadels were first launched.

Woodcutting - Increased by a fair amount, between 20-30% on current rates including the ring. Woodcutting is the least interesting plot but one that is required for every tier, by giving it a pretty competitive boost against other plots or doing normal Ivy should make it a little more worthwhile.

Firemaking - Increased by a fair amount too, between 25-30% on current rates including the ring. This is a another thankless task and one that never got updated post-bonfires. It provides one of the best time spent vs XP rates in the citadel.

Summoning - XP rates increased by almost 7-8 times or better on certain levels, this goes for the ring too which should be a viable option now. The cap is still in effect but doing your bit on the Summoning plot each week should be a nicer chunk of Summoning XP than it used to be.

I'm sure there will be plenty of feedback when it's launched so I look forward to reading it!

in saying that, would there be a way for me to see when someone elses probation ends?

Maybe a timer when I hover over the yellow ! under their name in the clan list?

Like this?

@Mod Maz, I don't need to be on the same world or he doesn't need to be online for me to see that he's on probation. So if the database can display that info at any time, it might as well be able to let J4ron know how many days left? :o

That data isn't technically their probation state, but worked out from when they joined.. so if they are offline, it's approximating about a week since they joined, they shouldn't be on probation. However the variable to store probation state is on the actual person. For the most part, they're the same, however there are circumstances when they may not be.

So yes, I could use the same approximation, but it wouldn't be accurate and reflective of the true probation state. Would that be useful? Only you guys can tell me that.

I'm still going to go with Bresmine's suggestion for the display for the person themselves. However if you think that the same little icon next to someone's name in the clansettings list would be useful, I may be able to move it (no promises... as that code is quite complex and has to deal with potentially 500 people!).

Hope that makes sense? Happy to try to explain further if you want.
