Bstaves are the popular, cheaper crafting alternative to hides, around 7 gp per xp, and 253k crafting xp is what I got from 2,700'ing at loom (with av, artis outfits, and xp invention perks on oh) - that's how I figured it to be ~1.7m gp worth of crafting xp for the hours spent (253k x 7).

Difficult one due to the amount of exp the loom gives. If anything rations should be less click intense due to the fact no one likes doing loom because cooking exp is very easy and faster outside cit

I agree with the idea of reducing the clicks needed per mini-loom. However I believe that this should go hand in hand with a reduction in xp per harvest, to balance this out.

no support, craft is the best plot for most players. It gives decent amount of exp compared to other free training methods so should be able to work for it.
My citadel loom is most used plot getting over 3 times required resources = no support
I have the opposite situation - most weeks I have to use at least one of the avas on the loom just to reach the upkeep cost.
Interesting how varied the loom's popularity is.
Here's a postulation: The clans where the loom is popular tends to have lower leveled-people using them, and "presequently," more lower-leveled people in the clan to start off with?
I know that back before I had access to Prifddinas, my clannies were joking that "Viv would probably do harps," and that someone *used* to do harps at Prif because he "didn't know any better" at the time, lol.
The loom at the citadel also happens to be the second place I go--first is the summoning obelisk, second is the loom, third is the smithing plot. I don't know how bad the xp rates are, but it's free xp and it fulfills capping. Others also probably have this "oh I need xp in this skill, might as well get some at the citadel even though it might be inefficient, because it's free and I don't have to bank" mentality.
Either way, I still support less click-intensive looms. Hard to type and do other stuff when you have to click so often
Its kinda like the kiln plot, the furnace, the roots, hell basicly every plot works like this... imagine to have to click them every time for each xp pop up.
I'dd even like to add that it would be nice to have each side (4looms next to eachother) of the loom to restock after its empty, and not have to go all the way around to the other side.
