no support, craft is the best plot for most players. It gives decent amount of exp compared to other free training methods so should be able to work for it.

I would agree with this if:

1. This method of training was more beneficial to the player
2. It wields significantly great gains

Both of which i dont think apply so for that reason i dont agree with the statement on this occasion.

I support the thread.

My citadel loom is most used plot getting over 3 times required resources = no support

I have the opposite situation - most weeks I have to use at least one of the avas on the loom just to reach the upkeep cost.

it all depends on your clan. We have several non-maxed members who still need the exp. Most maxers just want to cap asap

The reason we were happy to maintain the Loom as the most click intensive was because the gains relative to cost advantage that the Citadel Loom gives you. While we might be willing to reduce the click intensity slightly these days it is not a quick fix sadly because of the testing overhead requirement.

Is already on our list of "things we would like to tweak when/if we have reource available"

Sounds like something to go in the RuneLabs thingy, since that's going to give a huge amount of resources to clan work if it gets picked =)

This idea appeared to get ignored when I posted it on the Ninja Fixing Plans thread earlier this year (QFC: 86-87-834-65719625 ). My opinion has not changed since then and I do like the idea of reducing the number of clicks.

Please spare a thought for my poor mouse :|

:o sorry didn't know you posted about it! - but a lot of us share your feelings!

Was it purely the click aspect? or time as well? as my suggestion only decreases the clicks but the time to cap still is long. Even decreasing it slightly would help!

But i'm glad its on your list! :D

That's OK. It just goes to show that there are more people who want this to happen. Thank you for getting this idea some attention. :)

At times we have had arguments at the Loom because a player on one side clicks faster than player on the other side. One guy wants to finish cap ASAP and *only* wants to work the loom. Other guy is nonchalant and chatting is his priority at citadel.

For me, i can never get the timing exactly right. Click too soon and it's like i never clicked at all. Too late and well, that guy above is ticked at me either way.

One guy, a skiller working on his 200M in crafting, actually left clan in part because other cappers on the loom slowed him down considerably every week.

As for the discussion of "most used/least used" plot, we've seen both. At times when lots of our clannies wanted to finish their 99 Crafting, we were getting way more cloth than we needed. Then when most of those guys had maxed we had less Loom work. When Prif opened up and Crafters could use harps, NONE of them worked the Loom.
As another post mentioned, we had to set an avatar to making cloth. i went so far as to buy membership for an alt i no longer play, just to meet the Upkeep.

While we now have no trouble getting enough participation at the Loom, it remains a concern each week, often the last plot to hit the Upkeep. i never want to return to Locking plots just to force an unpopular resource. People just wait til somebody else has done it and the lock is removed.

Thanks for bringing up this topic. Hope that one day the 4-click system will be banished.
