Can you guys program it so if somebody has placed a Vex up, and the players are in the same world, they can click a button on the vex below "add friend" that says "request invite" - this would send an invite inquiry to the player that placed the vex. This could be toggled on or off using "accept aid" features, or create a new similar boolean process for this function. Essentially got the idea from the grouping system and how it sends screen invites. It would save so many people so much time and hastle.
Clan:
Honestly, I'd love to be able to invite people without having to go to a mutually chosen location, such as via friends list or if they're in the clan as a guest (obviously not applicable to everyone) then you could right click their name and "send an invite".
Unfortunately, I don't think it'll happen.

I've always wondered why the "Add friend" button on the Vex (That adds the person who placed it) exists. Seems to me that "Join clan" or "Request invite" would be more practical. Clans could of course decided whether or not they want it there, based on their clan requirements.

I want my new clan members to feel valued enough that I would at least take the time to go and invite them.
As a clan which takes on many new or returning players, often at low levels, I use this time to introduce myself to the clan member, to explain what they need to do now -regards reading our rules, and where to find them, etc. Often times they don't even know how to speak in the clan chat. I give information on getting a clan cape and vex, explain the citadel, avatars and orts ( with differing levels of depth of information depending on their game experience ). To me this is one of the most important times for a clan, its when first impressions are made.
If i was a player looking for a clan, i would think that if a clan couldn't be bothered to come and invite me, I wouldn't be interested in joining them .
However I can see that this feature might be useful for some clans, obviously more higher levelled clans don't need impart this level of information, and taking up time meeting with people is xp waste, so sure i would give people the option. I just wouldn't use it myself
First impressions are always the best impressions, you get to invite them so they feel more valued at being in a clan, and you explain to them everything there is about your clan, citadel, and everything in between. I dont think we need this added into the game.
And i always welcome them to the family by saying: welcome to the family: ( Owner McCoy )
Therefore i am not in support of this idea
