I have to agree with others about the somewhat disappointment of the 2015 clan plan. It would be good to see it implemented in 2016, especially the idea of a mute option so we can mute members or guests who according to clan rules may need it temporarily. I know a lot of clan owners and clan leaders would appreciate that....even a global clan chat mute button while an owner makes clan announcements their clan needs to hear.

This feature already exists. :)

> Go to the "Clan Settings" tab
> Click "Permissions"
> Click the minimum rank you want to have permission to talk
> Click "Chat"
> Click "Set this rank as the minimum to talk in Clan Chat"

Then when you want to unmute, Click "Recruit" and set that rank as the minimum rank allowed to talk.

And as you said, it is very helpful for announcements as well as freezing arguments that may break out in the clan chat in order to get things to settle down. ~ Sicariu
