@Lone Druid.

Whatever Jagex do or have done it doesnt get away from the fact that they have impacted the game negativity due to wanting to make a quick buck with some updates.

They are not the worst games studio for doing this, not by any means but that still doesnt mean we can feel disappointed with some bad decisions made and neglect to big parts of the game.

It's nice to see that a Jmod posted on this thread recently however I don't think the bantering back & forth is going to help anything get done. I'm not sure what was done this year I can't find anything other than the Clan Cups which a lot of us smaller clans don't even participate in seems just more for the ultra large clans was done. Yes maybe a few things to help clans not loose the citadels because players are leaving to play on 07, Darkscape, and real life gets in the way.

I know it's probably silly of me to even ask but could you guys please at least expand the amount of people that can be added to a clan ban list. I've had to start putting all the overflow onto my personal ignore list since the Clan Ban only holds 100 names and personal ones hold 400. We check the names regularly, remove people who don't even play RS any more. Clans are more likely to have a larger amount of people with the fluctuation & ofc the occasional person who comes into one as a troll than I need to have on my personal ban list. Clans that have been around longer would have more need to have larger lists. Besides that I have remained friends with a lot of people that might be banned from our clan & hate to have to place them on my personal ignore list just to keep track of them.

Oh, yes you do... You obviously won't have a chance at Combat Cups, where you fight clans with 50+ people fighting (everyone with combat level 138); or in Skilling Cups, where your clan's members are between 60-90 and bigger clans have people with level 120. Ajente02,

Skilling cups you dont. If you have a good core of players they can compete well enough if youre a small clan or large clan. Obviously a clan with a larger group of players have the advantage in terms of numbers but at the end quality will win out.

Even if youre not going to win its still fun taking part and improving on your own performances. so no you dont need to be a big clan to compete or take part.

The winners of the cup had 195 members.

We target the Clan Cup quite carefully to make sure there are competitions a range of clans can compete in - in PKing there are 20vs20 and Fullout competitions and in the skilling cup it is based on your top 10 players. We do consider that the cup needs to cover a range of sizes of clans, but the health of your clan in active players should be part of the make up of the competitions. Again with clan cups lol, as a clan we're not interested in them! We're more interested in what we can offer as a clan by skilling on a normal day to day basis and improvements to the existing things we have now such as Citadels & reworks that would help us run smoother checking resources, recalling a wayward Ava, improvements to Clan lists such as the Ban list to match personal ban lists which are 400 where as Clans is only 100, notes that can be added to the names on a Clan Ban List to identify a player by the name we met them under, possible ways to use mutes in a CC, more ways to gain XP in citadels (yes I know there are no plans for this in the future). It's not about competition with other clans we're not in a competition with them nor do we wish to be. We just like to improve our own individual skills & cheer each other one in our CC.

No offense but it's not about how much better I can be than some other player cause I'm not any better than the Level 3 that just started the game and don't believe that anyone else is either. It's how can I help them with knowledge I have so they can enjoy their game more. The only person I'd be in competition with is myself to make my own improvements. As far as pking goes I detest it, don't care if others love it that's fine, but I hate killing other players & don't like dying myself when I'm out trying to improve myself in the game.

And the clan cup can be all about that too, it is what you make it, you can either choose to ignore it or embrace it in your own way.

Dying is part of the game and not dying is part of peoples improvement.

Competition and pking was always a massive part of this game and gaming in general & i would encourage more attenton given to it, im happy Jagex choose to do the J Cup and give it attention its a big part of what this game and clans is all about right from the start. Pking made this game popular and what it is today.
