The discord will not replace CLF. Official conversation does not occur in the discord chat and I would imagine discussions with JMods there would be very rare. The reply about what content the ninja team are looking at should be posted on the CLF when we have a set of answers.
Would a 'TL;DR' type of thread be of any use for the discord? Or do you think not?

Sani, I never joined discord, so I cant come back to it
I just think that the CLF is here for a reason and that reason is for clans to communicate on offical forums with JMODS. I wanted to make sure that discord wasnt replacing it. Jagex does not run the server. We have always been told things should be talked about on CLF and things on CLF shouldnt be posted else where.
Just wanted to check this new chat device wasnt having chats that are not on here.
Anyhow back to the topic, I still stand by what my original post said, I think we shouldnt have a representative to go to jagex we should all communicate through forums.
Maybe understanding why Jagex wont put more focus on clans would be a good question? Who makes that call and why does it seem this is happening.

There is a specific channel for CLF discussions and those without CLF access will not be given the permission to view that channel and see the contents and conversations within it.

I don't see it as replacing I see it as an addition, and i'd be strongly against it replacing as the forums makes it so all posts and threads to be found if a reference is needed which makes it official.

The reason being is reworks don't do well from what they have seen for example barbarian assault and the like. At the end of the day Jagex is a business and it is about ROI - the aim is to have as many players interacting with the content as possible so it isn't a waste of money, time and resources. With the permission rewrite it mainly benefits the admins of the clan not the other members of the clans.
In regards to making the decisions from my understand will lie with Mod Pips, Mod Mark, Mod Osborne and Mod Conor.

I think there has already been a drop in activity in the CLF it might not have been anyones intention but the discord will certainly have an impact on the CLF if not already, which i believe it has.

Sorry I've not been keeping up with Discord, but what's happening with all of this?
Are we still nominating/ thinking of having a representative going to Jagex?
I seen Mod Osborne posted something in CL Discord,
but didn't really get the context or any follow-up to it.
Are we discussing anything else, or just playing a waiting game now?
Just trying to stay in the loop and keep my community informed
Give them a few weeks, if by mid october nothing hasn't been mentioned by either osbourne or kelpie I will try and chase it up.

Yup and that my point, discord should be there for leaders who wants to voice chat to each other. CLF forums should be where any JMOD communication takes place, as seen above already discussions taking place in there from jmods I cant find from them on here.
