Im just pointing out that there was awareness raised at runefest. So we'll see what happens with that.

I honestly don't see how one person could address all the issues on behalf of the CLF and come out with a positive result.

At this point every Clan Leader is too divided on what needs improvement because we account for the time the developers have to spend on projects. Each and everyone of us has their own personal wishlist when it comes to Clans that at this rate we're going to need a Batch update to save the future of Clans.

I feel that Clans have been neglected for a long time now and that Clan Leaders hardly have a voice in what's going to make it into the game. (Doh) It is and has always been a matter of what the majority wants, no - not the Clan Leaders, but the players.

Will the players notice anything from most of our CL suggestions if they were to be put in-game? Doubt it... which makes Jagex turn their heads and instead put in more MXT. (A joke, lighten up o/)

We got so many talented players in our Clans, I think we would get so much more attention if we were to unite and collaborate on making one aspiring/appealing video to get the players attention on the issues us Clan Leaders face every day, and fill them in with our suggestions. Make them understand us.

Get them to put the thumbs up, arrows up and hit them where it matters the most - the media.

Because lets face it - at this point we're the sad little puppy with 2 broken paws, and we all know sooner or later we're going to need that expensive surgery or be put down for good. (Or walk on two paws for the rest of our lives and make the most out of it but we passed that station a long time ago.)

While that might take some blood, sweat and tears... (if done correctly) it would send a better message, in my opinion than sending one person to Jagex.

But we've been shut down so many times, despite our hard work that I understand it will be very hard to get everyone on the same page again. For example: The RuneLabs result was a kick in the groin, rigged by Jagex (Unintentionally, I guess :P ), definitely not in our favor.

It's our turn again to turn the odds in our favor and make them work for us! *Muwahaha*

And leaving on a serious note, if none of this works, lets go on a strike.

TL DR: I don't think one person would get the message across - personal suggestion: CLF collaborate on one video dedicated to getting players in our play-field - if nothing works, go on a strike. Pleasure in the job, puts perfection in the work.

I personally feel allowing every leader to post their thoughts, concerns and suggestions on a dedicated thread would be more ideal than having one (or a couple) of, albeit well-respected and seasoned, clan leaders speak on everyone's behalf. I'd much rather advocate for someone managing such a thread and compiling all the feedback to make it easily digestible for Jagex. I reckon this would allow more problems to be highlighted and allow everyone to obtain a more accurate image of what should be prioritised.

Things seemed to have gotten a bit off track on the forum, at least in my opinion.

A lot of it begins with people believing somebody is representing their clan personally, and it sounds to me as though that's not the purpose. It's not I represent Clan Quest, Skill School, Valarseren, or any others....Just I represent a peeved community of clan leaders.

The purpose of this venture I believe is simply trying to organize a meeting with Jagex to actually discuss how clans are invaluable and how we need some updates.
It could be the most pointless waste of time and money in the world, but if there are volunteers to give it a go, how could it harm anything?


Hopefully I'm not to out of date, but it seems like maybe were getting to hung up over specifics. It's like when you use a metaphor, and then the other person points out how that could never happen and it makes no sense, et cetera. The point of a metaphor isn't specifics, it's a story with a lesson to impart in essence.

So specifics aside, and while were at it judgements aside of whether this is silly or not, is it itself a good idea? Or at the very least, an idea full of good intentions for all of us?

Personally while I understand both sides of the aisle here, I really think some people might be overreacting. We all have bigger fish to fry then is someone besides us representing our specific clan, (which they aren't) and if they are, could they be misrepresenting us? (Which is immensely unlikely, and again, representing individual clans isn't the point of this venture.)
