This was a concern of mine originally, but the fact is, many of our problems all stem from a similar source anyhow. As it was put to me, we are all here and angry because we are passionate about our clans and what we do, so in terms of overall support for everyone, I'm no longer quite as concerned....


The only issue I remain vigilant on, is which updates will benefit who. Will say the top 00.01% of all clans benefit the most, or will all clans receive boons from select updates new and old. But as stated earlier in this forum, we are not even at that stage yet, when we are I happen to have a couple ideas on how even the playing field.

I would remind everyone that drastic times call for drastic measures, it's easy to point out flaws in the plan, or not support it for various reasons, and I myself still have some reservations.

But this is more then has been done in forever, and at least someone is finally pushed to go the true extra mile, for all of us in the end, in what is already a truly F***** up situation. I don't know any other games that are so brazenly negligent towards community centered updates. That we have to have an emergency union like this at all is stupid. Ask yourselves how has it come to this? Why!?

I would like to add, I am not trying to stir up trouble by any of my comments. However I think outside of wanting a few questions answered, how could this be a bad thing? What's the worst that could happen? Because at the moment. Nothing is happening, and when it does, it barely improves what already is if it doesn't in fact make it worse, such as in my opinion the previous 1 week probation period....

Which I would add, dramatically tended to favor large established clans over smaller ones.

The other day I was on the LFC forums, and I saw a post, which was as follows:


"I'm looking for a clan mainly to socialize and make time go by faster. I played solo for a bit and realized how dull it is to not type a word all day, haha. Just trying to meet some cool people and make good friends." --Accumulate.

This is why we are rallying at all, because Jagex just can't realize that their game might be dying because what accumulate wants to find, is getting more and more scarce and far between. They are insane, in the sense that they keep trying the same thing over and over and producing updates around the same old things, and not community. We are quite frankly headed towards Soloscape, and without people, Runescape is a very watered down Skyrim, but grindy.

-We are not "picking a leader" for CLF
-We are not electing someone permanently
-This person is not going to speak off-the-cuff to Jagex

Once elected, the person/people who will be going will have a list of things to discuss with Jagex (A list that we, the CLF, create). These things will mainly be the major clan projects that we've been wanting (Permissions Rework, for example). After the meeting with Jagex is over, these people will have served their elected "term" and will go back to just being clan leaders again. @Lisaa_RS - Followed by @Runescape

Any support for this initiative will be dependent on discussions within our clan, which will not happen until at least early October, given the coincident travel schedules of key clan members.

However, Rob Jones does not now and will never, under any circumstances, formally or informally, represent, advocate or speak for the

My understanding about this process is that they are nominating volunteers to go speak with Jagex, not with a specific Clan(s) in mind, but about Clan Updates (or lack of) in general.
This first part is just to find someone who all leaders agree would be suitable to go speak to them.

The second part is what they will say to them, which is where I suppose all Clans will come into the fray with their piece they wish said.

So I don't believe Rob would be going to speak on behalf of
Wolf
Scape
, or the Caped Carousers or indeed any particular Clan, but will be going to relay on information supplied by all Clans; which TBF may be the downfall of this due to consensus. Proud Owner of the
