Hmmm - would love to see how this works.

It seems to draw its data from the clan lists - which not only updates with name changes but also includes free to play. The xp figure is clan xp.

If I am right this would be good news for you

Unless you are asking for something more complicated ... I would guess if there is a name change it would show up as the old name as a leaver and the new name as a joiner ?
