Been watching the RuneFest livestream since it started and just finished the RuneScape Reveals for 2017, but quite disappointed I didn't hear Clan updates mentioned at all?

I'm aware Clans scored poorly in the 2017 Survey from Mod Osborne during the Facebook livestream, but I was crossing my fingers I'd hear something being mentioned about updates during the RuneFest stream.

Unless Clans were mentioned in the secondary screens, a bit disappointed to not hear any form of "there will be Clan updates" in the future :\ Proud Owner of the

I was just about to create a similar thread....

It does upset me that not even a small part of clans or citadels was mentioned, but when it comes to updates a quest or boss will always come out on top.

This just means clans just sit on the back burner longer.

If future RuneFest follow in this line then clans will not get a look in at all other than small QOL updates.

Mod Maz, Mod MattHe and Mod Moltare do an amazing job at Jagex championing clan but I feel more love is needed by other Jmods as clans do play a vital part in the game, keeping players playing the game and still interested.

So I ask....

What was the point in us Winning RuneLabs?
Will we ever see any updates for clans which arn't just QOL?
Can the results of the updates voted on be published? - I'm interested to see how "badly" clan reworks did out of curiosity.

Looks like 2017 is just going to be another shit year. It's just the same circle really.

Some parts of RuneScape don't get updated -> players leave -> not enough votes to get an update -> more players leave.

I guess in 2020 all updates are going to be PvM, Quests, max stuff and cosmetics.

They put clans up against updates like new bosses, or new quests---things other people will obviously want. Clans will never get an update this way. Since we arent making progress I honestly dont see the point of being on this forum board other than to count to 50 before a jmod

As I mentioned, we're currently discussing it in numbers on this Discord group. We've tried all previous methods going from social media, Runelabs, CLF etc etc, and this is what we've decided to do. If we don't get any reply, then we'll have to make another decision towards our next step. However, even though this discussion is happening on Discord, if you or any one else has ideas on the way forward then please don't hold back! •

What if I don't want clan updates, but updates aimed at clans? I don't think clanless people should be blocked out of content.

So clans should be deprived of updates because of the small percentage of clan-less people? Every update, every week, every month, every year, updates are aimed at every type of player. I'm sure it won't hurt them too much for clans to get one big update.

These updates are to help clans runs smoothly, be more rewarding, easier for leaders to manage etc, and clans in many peoples opinions one of the most important factors of this game, if not the most important. Clans are literally the life of the community.

This is also the reason for a poll lol, to work out what the community want.* •
