scammed clanmate - want help. Thread is locked

I'm not asking Mod Matthe for help as he has helped me in the past & got a lot of grief for it.
(sorry again about that Mod Matthe)

Also I am not asking for any advice on how not to get scammed.

This is for clan leaders that may have any connections.

They were scammed for 1b, by a known common scam, because they weren't paying attention.

No doubt the account used to scam was a dummy, but the money must go somewhere.


I told the idiot (my clanmate) to report - he hadn't reported because he felt silly I guess, & didn't think anything could be done because it was a dummy account.

It was in discussion immediately, so I only hope he reported in time.


1b is a lot, & someone comfortable with hurting another in this way is evil & I would like them wiped out, but I don't have that power.


If anyone does, I can provide details of account names & scam etc.


I know Mod Matthe doesn't like these posts but it's from helplessness, & wanting to help our clanmates.


So I'm appealing to any other leaders that might be able to help.


Again, I'm not looking for advice on ways not to be scammed, i'm looking for anyone who might be able to help this person who was scammed for 1b.


I'm angry for him, & have nowhere to direct that anger.

Don't think there is anything else then that the person scammed report the scammer. U can inform your clannies to not fall for this scam in the futur.

You seem to be asking other players to help you harm, damage, annoy or harass another player's account in some way.

Since that would be against the game rules, the answer is a very firm
NO .


Two wrongs do not make a right; nor is lowering yourself to someone else's level a winning strategy.

Moreover, your alleged 'victim' should have reported the issue. If they didn't, then they clearly aren't interested in any form of retribution themselves, so why should anyone else be?

Thanks Ceecs, I'm still hoping someone can help, I noted time date accounts involved etc so I have that info.

I don't know if this stuff happens all the time, to me a 1B scam seems like a big deal.

I'm still hoping someone will jump on it while it's fresh.

Uplift the answer is I don't know, that's why I wrote what I did.

You're still dragging Mod Matthe in this situation, no matter how you word it. This post is not relevant to CLF.

OK, so he didn't report it. Well .. what as a CL can you do? *Thinks* ... Oh yeah ... report it to 'Flag a Concern' thread.
