Hi,
So far we've only had contact trough Cadge and Sam, but guess it's time to show my face here myself.
Very nice discovery Elipile.
I didn't send a penguin there but I did check it out myself. And while there decided to compare coordinates to the map I got going. I think the border there is at 29 degrees and 44 minutes east (that is between 43 and 45, since one tile is 2x2 minutes)
The ambient light changes also at this same border, so this might be a tool we can use as well, as Aveo pointed out above.
Both sides play the same sound though, but this tool proved useful in different areas.
I was wondering though, do we have proof that if a penguin goes east of that border, that it still activates the heim and seek clue?
I also wouldn't mind talking ingame about clue areas, so I went ahead and added you.
Btw, of the four penguins that can wander, I know the location of 3 on world 26 (non-penguin world, right)
There is a bush in CW wall, a rock in Yanille wall and a bush somewhere south of Yanille. Might help if someone wants to do research. (00:48:44 BST)
Some further thoughts after some bench tests:
1 section = 64 steps
16 steps = 30 minutes
This gives: 1 section = 120 minutes = 2 degrees
All nice and round values, especially since although normally section is of course 4 quarts, when looking in only one dimension, a section is 2 quarts, so a quart is exactly 1 degree long.
It also matches with the values you have for the north and south borders of the South of Ardougne clue within 1 minute (5'59" = 3 sections). If this works out all borders should have about (might be 1 off) the same minute value, differing only in the degree value.
P.s. Aveo, your assumptions above are correct, you're discovering the same thing I did a while back and what I am basing my map on, talk to me ingame for more details.
Signed,
