It makes perfect sense to be able to obtain the cape in a non-combat related activity, by spending time or money.
how does is make sense to be able to obtain the BIS cape without actually earning it? All the other capes arnt buyable so y should this one be any different?

U say if u spent time and money then u deserve it but thats how u earn it u spend money on supplies to learn the boss to finally after time earn the right to wear the cape not by just going up to some npc and buying it from them that makes absolutely no sense what so ever u dodnt earn anything that way

Realistically illogical why we should be able to buy Zuk Capes with Tokkul but not Fire Cape first.

Couldnt agree more.

All that ppl want to do here is skip out on content just because they probably think its too hard or w/e.

Otherwise they would be more than willing to either do it or deal w/o.

I mean you can do pvm just fine w/o this cape thus theres nothing saying you have to have it.

Zuk capes aren't even the hardest to get cape. You need to ask Nomad for the Golden Soul Cape first.

Some items are meant to be harder to get. Zuk capes are optional gear anyway, most players don't use them under most circumstances anyway.

You don't need a Zuk cape.

If you are unable to participate in top-level PvM, then teams kicking you out for not having a single piece of equipment is not going to be your issue - it's going to be them kicking you out for your performance.

If you really want a Zuk cape, you'd be better off buying new equipment, and then returning to TzKal Zuk in the future, when he's more manageable as new gear gets introduced to the game.

Runescape has a wealth of content and you do not need to have everything best in slot to play it. There is a wealth of equipment that can be purchased with pure gold.
Don't forget – RuneScape members get TWO free spins a day instead of the usual one!

Having just attempted to get the Igneous Kal-Mej last week myself, I had to begrudgingly upgrade my magic armor, weapons, and even abilities just to come close to killing TzKal-Zuk. However, these upgrades were still not enough to get me past his igneous phase because of my apparent lack of DPS.

That being said, after many failed attempts, I came to the conclusion that retaining my TokHaar-Kal-Mej was sufficient for now and that one day I will be able to kill TzKal-Zuk when I continue to upgrade my setup. These difficult bosses are meant to push you to improve your capabilities for PVM and are meant to present a challenge, regardless of what items they may reward.
