Asgarnia

Clan Camp
1. Merge all of the features of the Clan Camp in one NPC
-There’s no need to have a giant portal and a separate NPC for each function. This is inefficient and only creates a visually distracting environment. Keep it simple: one NPC for clan-related content
2. Place the new clan NPC at the Grand Exchange in Varrock
-This would expose more players to clan content and encourage them to explore clans
3. Remove the Clan Camp

Armadyl’s Tower
1. Make Armadyl’s Tower invisible from the ground
2. Replace the large base and divine focus with a much smaller shrine. Interacting with this shrine would transport players to the top of the tower
3. Place the shrine at the current location of the Clan Camp
-This would move the tower out of the way so that it no longer blocks the path to Rimmington
-The Archaeology collector would be moved to the shrine

Bandos’s Remains
1. Remove the crater southeast of Goblin Village
-Including the wreckage of the fallen tower and Scarecrow weapon
2. During The Mighty Fall quest, have players interact with Bandos’s Remains instead of using a portal to reach Yu’biusk
-Bandos’s Remains would essentially serve as the portal to Yu’biusk

Heist
1. Allow players to access the minigame through a door in the Rogues’ Den
2. Remove the ladder north of Falador

Player-owned Port
1. Have players begin the minigame by boarding a ship in Port Sarim
-The captain’s log would teleport players to the docks
2. Require players to meet one of the skill requirements before entering the minigame area
-This would be more realistic than allowing anyone to walk into the port unannounced
3. Place Meg on the docks in Port Sarim, rather than inside the minigame area
4. Remove the portal

Crafting Guild
1. Remove the inventor’s workbench
-Members’ content should not be the centrepiece of a F2P guild. It should never have been added.
-There are plenty of workbenches in P2P areas. Nothing will be missed.

Misthalin

Shattered Worlds
1. Move the entrance into the Kharidian Desert, near Tuska’s corpse

Soul Wars
1. Move the portal into the Gamers’ Grotto

May’s Quest Caravan
1. Move the hub track rewards into the Champions’ Guild
2. Place May outside the entrance to the guild
-May would act as the guild’s representative, explaining what rewards are available
-Players would be able to access rewards costing up to 25 quest points by speaking with May outside the entrance
-Entering the guild itself would still require 33 quest points

Premier Club Vault
1. Have players interact with the vault guardian to begin the activity instead of using a portal
-This would help reduce visual clutter

Well of Goodwill
1. Remove the well, as it has been discontinued

Draynor Manor
1. Allow players to view autumn seasonal event cutscenes by interacting with an object in Draynor Manor grounds
2. Remove the 2018 Hallowe’en event crater northeast of Draynor Village

Varrock west bank
1. Get rid of the inventor’s workbench south of the bank. Members do not need this workbench to exist.

Various Locations

God Statues
1. Update Copernicus Glyph to no longer appear on F2P worlds, as the D&D is P2P
-The following message would appear when interacting with a rough stone block on a F2P world:
You find a note attached to the stone block: “Copernicus Glyph seeks artisans for a new construction project. Volunteers will receive valuable experience.”

Quests
1. Update the following members’ quest NPCs to no longer appear on F2P worlds:
-Relomia, Gideon Bede, Morgan, and the Guildmaster in the Blue Moon Inn in Varrock ( Once Upon A Time in Gielenor )
-Trader Stan in Port Sarim ( Impressing the Locals )

I'd like to leave a few things for commentary

- I certainly do agree with most of the things for cleaning up the area (certainly most of the big clutter, that doesn't fulfill any purpose, also relocating certain features), but others are some kind of downgrade compared to status quo - coming to those later. When I do not comment something, I'll basically agree with it (or at least do not see it as some downgrade compared to status quo).
- The portal for POP is extremely well recognizable as an access point for the activity - misusing Stan for that isn't. They did something similiar with the farming leprechauns and vine sweeper, which basically is hidden behind some chat option now - when some obviously better solution would have been a portal in the farming guild. That said - vine sweeper isn't used too much, POP is. Also the portal certainly isn't too big and it integrates well into the sarim ambience.
- Moving May's Caravan basically makes the features less accessible - they are extremely close to a lodestone for a reason. It probably would work better if players would receive a free green teleport to the guild as part of one of the existing track rewards (akin to the PvM hub).
- Portal for the premier vault - basically once over the POP issue again. Also the promotional area could become extremely cluttered when they have multiple promotions running at once.
- Removing the nexus literally would be precedent for removing basically any one-off activity. I certainly would prefer if it was evolved to something else. Clean up of mechanics, maybe-ish making a weekly d&d out of it.
- I think as annoying as those 'you require membership to do x' messages are, they do help showing players that there is more to do as soon as they receive said membership. That said, the way you'd like to reduce the god statues isn't harmful in that way.

Hey, thanks for your response.

The Burthorpe promotion area does seem pretty full already. I can see how moving the premier vault could make it worse. That one's also fairly small, and there's enough room for it at the Grand Exchange.

I have to admit I didn't even consider the lodestone for May's Caravan. I'm totally on board with adding a green teleport. How soon do you think it should be unlocked? I'd argue it would make the most sense as an early unlock to encourage visiting the hub.

The Nexus is in a unique position. It's not very good for training Prayer, yet there is no viable training method on F2P. I suppose removing it without addressing the underlying lack of a good option would be a downgrade from the status quo.

Regarding membership paywall messages, my view is that it's best to give players some idea of what they're missing. In terms of messages, I think the best to worst options are:

Message hinting at what the content is ->
Hidden/non-interactable on F2P worlds ->
Paywall with no additional context

My issue is that if players aren't given at least a suggestion of what they could be playing, it doesn't have the desired effect of encouraging membership. On the contrary, players are likely to lose some of their interest when they are repeatedly blocked from accessing content without reasonable explanation.

The Retreat teleport also isn't unlocked as soon as you gain access to it (with 60 combat or 1k total), you need a couple of boss kills first, so something like this would be reasonable for the quest hub as well.

Champion's guild itself requires 33 quest points, so that has to be reduced to 25, if the caravan was relocated there - so players can grab the first set of rewards in the first place. Unlocking the teleport upon reaching 50 would be reasonable.

Issue with the nexus is, you depend on other players to properly play it - considering it's an activity you can complete at some point nobody will be left. In general mediocre xp doesn't help either, but the mechanics can be re-interpreted in a decent fashion. And yeah - make it weekly playable - you can gain a amount of xp (ideally not set, but level dependent) for cleansing (which should be given faster) and a bigger chunk for defeating the grotesque - both should be independently from one another. And considering it has some lore attached, completing it once should be part of the MQC.

In general I would get rid of the clan camp entirely. OS has a smaller clan hub in the south eastern corner of the varrock GE, which has a singular NPC for all needed functionality, a recruitment board and the access portal to the clan hall. RS3 would need a few vexillium stands as well, but other than that we would have all functionality covered by that. Rated clan wars should go to regular clan wars.
I mean obviously it would be better to ask players who are using those functions, but if those do not exist...

Yeah totally agreed, that ideally you would be given context about what's there, but I think at least some information should be there - just take a look at f2p and p2p wilderness following the massive update last year - but they're basically just two different places now. Dunno how it could be solved better though...

What I've forgotten last time - the h'ween crater is used to replay cutscenes from past events (I do not know if that thing has functionality for players who hadn't taken part in that event), so instead of removing it, it should be an object to replay event cutscenes located in draynor manor as this thing nowadays is the dedicated h'ween hub. Clan Camp
- remove the big tent too
- make all the clan vex stands in a smaller spot like in Burth
That's what I was thinking. Any functional objects can be pared down or combined to save room, while decorative ones can simply be removed. The vexillum stands illustrate the point. The clan flag in Burthorpe can pretty much be copy-pasted into the Grand Exchange.

Agreed. I would only keep the bank chest, as it's the only bank in all of the southern half of Asgarnia. It sounds like OS came up with the same idea before I did.
