What I've forgotten last time - the h'ween crater is used to replay cutscenes from past events (I do not know if that thing has functionality for players who hadn't taken part in that event), so instead of removing it, it should be an object to replay event cutscenes located in draynor manor as this thing nowadays is the dedicated h'ween hub.
That's true. If they put an equivalent object in the courtyard of Draynor Manor, I think that would be much better. It should be located within the H'ween hub and not off to the side of it. Failing that, they could make the cutscenes accessible from the entrance to Death's Hourglass and War's Retreat, as the lore is somewhat tied. Either way, the crater doesn't need to be kept, as better options are available.

The Retreat teleport also isn't unlocked as soon as you gain access to it (with 60 combat or 1k total), you need a couple of boss kills first, so something like this would be reasonable for the quest hub as well.

Champion's guild itself requires 33 quest points, so that has to be reduced to 25, if the caravan was relocated there - so players can grab the first set of rewards in the first place. Unlocking the teleport upon reaching 50 would be reasonable.[...]
The teleport could also work as a reward from Dragon Slayer. While this would clash with the caravan a little bit, I feel like it would make for a nice, fitting reward from the quest. If the teleport is made a reward from the caravan, then 50 quest points does seem reasonable.

I was also thinking that players could talk to May just outside the guild to access the rewards requiring only 25 quest points, as that would allow the entry requirement to stay at 33 quest points. The purpose of placing May outside would be so that players can find out what the caravan is about by talking to her, before unlocking the rewards. However, I'm not necessarily opposed to lowering the requirement to 25 quest points. I considered that option early on and decided that it would be useful to have the caravan's spokeswoman outside the entrance.

[...]Yeah totally agreed, that ideally you would be given context about what's there, but I think at least some information should be there - just take a look at f2p and p2p wilderness following the massive update last year - but they're basically just two different places now. Dunno how it could be solved better though...
I have some ideas. In many cases, allowing F2P to talk to members' NPCs and find out what they're about would be all that's needed. Examples:
-Zaida the Treasure Trails NPC would explain what clue scrolls are, how they are obtained, etc.
-Vannaka would explain the Slayer skill.
-The monks in Port Sarim would tell players about Entrana.
-The squire in Port Sarim would tell players about the Void Knights' Outpost.

In the above cases, the existing dialogue would simply need to be made F2P. However, it's possible to include the necessary information even in situations where there is no NPC. For example:
-If a F2P player tries to enter the Player-owned port portal, they would find a note describing the activity. The note could read as follows: "Renowned Portmaster John Strum seeks enterprising successor. Must be organised, disciplined, and dedicated to maintaining port and crew in ship-shape. Untold treasures await. The seas are your bounty."

It's not super important or something like that. But I just think it would have been functionality, that would have been lost (of course not as drastical as some of the other suggestions) and some small kind of land mark to remind players, that an event took place isn't too off either. OS often keeps small things after their events either. Last h'ween left a pile of trash (which is funnily enough a fitting analogy to that event as a whole, albeit probably unintended) in the back of Zaff's shop, which can rummaged for some pseudo cosmetic.

I mean it's not something like the armadyl tower, which really is gigantic - and was basically without any functionality at all with the exception of quests, which required you to interact with armadyl - and archaeology. Of course the tower also could be utilized better. Send the armadyl god emissary there, which certainly would be better than just leaving him in the middle of nowhere - granted at the time he was added Armadyl hadn't had any dedicated area - like a lot of the other emissaries. But yeah - this corner really is a bit... overcluttered.

If that crater is without functionality for players not having partaken in the event, they also could do the same thing as they did with that ice sculpture from easter 2010. It just appears as some rock, unless you did it. That's better than the previous ice block (which really was noticeable), which basically says - you can't do anything with it.

Just wanted to add that Armadyl's Tower also encroaches on Malignius Mortifer's spot west of Port Sarim. That's part of the reason I'd want to move the Archaeology collector over to the Clan Camp. Mr. Mortifer and his followers deserve their own spot, especially now with his necromantic abilities being in high demand.
