Theres nothing to be mad about OP, the number of snowflakes cheering the update here should be proof enough that theres nothing good to be found in wildy anyway, aside from scared 3,or 1, itemers crying because they are attacked in a place called ''the wilderness'', imagining they should be safe there to peacefully do their little achievements. RS3 is PVMscape now and it will be like that till its final days. There are threads on the forums discussing how players should pay to get the Zuk cape; the upcoming rants will be about how the bosses in runescape should not attack the players because thats annoying.

Also, in regards to the ''sportsmanship'' of the wilderness, those too afraid to bring gear to protect themselves properly should stop complaining that they are an easy prey to a pker.

I agree with the op, the game is headed in a very bad direction. RuneScape already felt really stale to me and this update reallyyyyy put it in a worse position, huge flop and incredibly sad to see this from the game title RuneScape.

PVM is already overblown, why would I want to pay attention and do slayer just to notice how boring killing the same monsters over and over again is? Wowzers.............

The game literally only offers PVM, this is not RuneScape at all so please change the game title Jagex.

Great update. Opting in to a game feature instead of forcing it on people makes a lot of sense.

I would think PvP people would love this update. They should have more competitive fights and actual bragging rights for success.

The minority of posts dissembling this update in the name of "dangerous PvP" are, frankly, hilarious to read. :D

Big win for anybody who wishes to enjoy the game rather than grieving others. I shall think of this thread the next time I attempt a clue scroll; who knows, perhaps I will get killed by one of the new mobs, but at least they have dignity. Low on bank space? Click here .

Their screams and cries of anguish and entitlement are sweet music to my ears. Keep it coming boys, scream some more before you leave.

As several people have stated before. You and your ilk where the catalyst that brought this change on.

I used to pk, but I went in looking for others that where there for a fight. Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.

I am not melting down, runescape changing to a game I no longer like is not the end of the world. I am disappointed it has done so but I can retire peacefully without the game I no longer support. I simply have a different view and don't believe it was possible to be "griefed" there. The way I see it is that it was an area of the game that added competitive value to the high scores table. I believe the runescore and other content there was made dangerous by other players and was a competitive part of the game I personally enjoyed. I would of enjoyed seeing an addition to the wilderness map and more content there that players would need to compete for completion of against each other. Just because I killed players that turned out to be incapable of fighting back or trying to does not make me a griefer. There was no intent to intentionally cause grief of another player and that is not what I enjoyed. My intention was to be competitive about the content there.

I feel sorry for players that were so deterred and filled with sorrow simply because they got killed by other players in the clearly labeled player killing zone. It is honestly sad to know there are people so pathetic that dying there caused them "grief". To anyone who believes they have ever been "griefed", it's a shame you allowed a video game cause you sorrow, and frankly pathetic. Death is not the opposite of life, but in fact a part of it.

May Guthix bring you balance.
