I agree with this sentiment. As a newer RS3 player having combat events finished before I can get personal goal has dissuaded me from doing the content. Some kind of separation for mid game players to be able to complete these events and get their fair share would be awesome and more engaging at all game stages rather than having to avoid events due to game stage progression.


Dissuaded from doing the content? Absolutely not. This is how a good progression system works in an MMORPG. Low level players are encouraged to level up to become more competent and get more rewards. Why weren't lower level players tell us they were "dissuaded" from doing content like Demon Flash Mobs, Soul Wars, Castle Wars and such in RSC/RS2/OSRS/RS3? Of course higher level players should be more competent, otherwise everybody will e dissuaded from levelling, and we will have a dead game in RS3 where levels and economies become totally meaningless,

It's Absolutely so . Sure levelling and "progression" is part of the game BUT there's a point where EVERYONE should have a chance at getting rewards not pushed to the sideline because they don't have FSOA / Every BIS spell or Gear etc. Simple solution would be to have the "Combat" events run the full 5 Minutes so those participating have a FAIR chance at getting their goals and if you ELIMINATE the "team goal" in those events people c an leave after getting the 70K and know they're getting the rewards without the need to do way more than necessary which causes other to be locked out and feeling like they wasted their time

1000% agreed here as I'm in the same boat without everything BIS so I don't even bother with the combat ones (and it sucks as you need them to get the teleport they offer ) since everything is dead way before I have even a chance to get near the "contribution" # of 70k

Everybody is having a chance to get rewards in ALL Flash Events. Even my sub-level-60 combat skill FSW alt is getting everything.

FSW ≠ Mainscape . How many FSOA are there in the FSW compared to Mainscape ??? how many max combat players are there with everything BIS on FSW ??? Not EVERYONE has a chance on Mainscape worlds unless they already have all the BIS GEAR which is the problem and a simple fix would be to let them run the full 5 Minutes with NO "team" goal so that players A/B/C could leave after getting Personal goals and leave players D/E/F to get theirs even if it takes them longer due to them not having the TOP TIER gears/skills/abilities

My lowbie FSW with sub-60 combat stats alt is completing Wildy Flash combat events with Tier 2 Challenger Gear. Not 100% success rate of course, but it is 100.00000000% extremely possible.

My lowbie FSW with sub-60 combat stats alt is completing Wildy Flash combat events with Tier 2 Challenger Gear. Not 100% success rate of course, but it is 100.00000000% extremely possible.

You're TOTALLY missing the point . Try using that same gear on a MAINSCAPE world and I can GUARENTEE you won't get close to personal goal in the combat events . The reason it works on FSW is because there's not many of the super OP top tier fully skilled / full abilities players like there is in Mainscape .

I have seen players below combat level 100 teleporting to Wlidy Flash Events in the main game. Obviously they have completed all the combat Flash Events at least once, and they are using FSOA because their stats don't allow them to anyway.

I've seen lots of players on mainscape saying they have trouble reaching 70k particularly in Infernal Star.
The problem is many higher level players are going as fast as they can while someone else a few tiles away wants/needs a longer event, might be their stats or gear, or its their 1st time, or they have a broken arm slowing them down.

There is a simple thing that can be done that would make it better for both lots of players and that is to have a few worlds that are recommended for players who need a longer event to use. Players wanting a fast finish would simply avoid doing combat events on those worlds.

I'll suggest these players to find a less populated world to do the combat events, maybe with clanmates or a couple of friends. It is really not hard at all, unless they are really really low level like combat level 20.
