Not that I'd personally have a problem with Ignore Listed players being hidden from view, like their words. There's some people from when I played that I wished I could just never interact with again. But, I assume that would be more difficult, if not impossible for the dev teams to do.

They'd have to worry about minimap dots being visible or not, make adding and trailing impossible, everything the ignored player has on needs to be hidden including their pets and emotes, and they'd have to make any clicking and interacting with the person also be stopped.

Realistically, even if people wanted it, there's just more things to hide in that case and it probably won't be nearly as easy as hiding a specific thing that's just attached to the player.
