That's great for vind killers actually, since that means lances and crests are more rare than weapons/crests of other bosses, which will keep their prices nice and healthy

Hold up, unless im reading this wrong, it means that (lets just go with 256 for simplicity) to hit the unique table is 1/256, and then it further rolls to determine which item you get, which means for vindicta, the chance for getting a specific unique is 1/1280, which does not at all agree with my 9000 sample size on my runemetrics profile. Rather, it would seem that the chance for a specific item is 1/256, rather than landing the preliminary roll on the unique table. Could we get some clarification on this?
You are - It is 1/256 for a SPECIFIC unique. Thus making it 1/50~ for any unique for example at Vindicta with 5 possible uniques while wearing LotD/T3 ring.

Timbo just said that it was 1/64 at first, but changed at some point in time (probably 2013-2014) to 1/50 due to the lack of ascensions entering the game. My rate is actually 1/62.9 so lol (in 4155 kills).
