Construction is the craft of making artificial objects that are fixed to the ground aka constructs. In RuneScape, you do not construct your POH, you pay to do the construction job. No, what you do is basically interior decorating. You do some carpenting, metalwork, weaving and sculpting, but all are movable objects. You make these objects on the spot, rather than in a specialised work environment, without the proper tools. It is so unrealistic.

One can wonder what differentiates current Construction with Crafting, Fletching, Smithing or Woodcutting.

Of course the real construction should be building, bridges and such. Please read my comments on Constructicons starting from Page 74 of this thread.

POH is just an outdated solo minigame. It is hardly Construction itself. That's also why even OSRS is taking construction outside the POH. Just let POH dies as a "skill" and let's construct somebody more useful and fun like more player owned content or at least let's do community construction.

Ive wanted Con update for years. Id like to skill in my poh, have a bank in my poh, and alot more. I would ACTUALLY consider training this to 120 if you gave us worthwhile stuff to put in our poh. And its a gold sink for you which idiots are always crying about, everyone wins.

They have just talked about it actually. They are thinking about giving us achievement trophies kind of stuff to show off in our POH, but training there? Nah! We already have a lot of ways to train construction outdoor. We just got Dream of Iaia, and there are going to be plenty more.

I think they mean more things like gilded altars, but for other skills.

Farming patches in PoHs seems like a no-brainer, so long as there can be a hard limit as to how many you can have in one.

No. They are talking about showing off our achievement, perhaps like what we have with the stuffed mob heads and fish etc, but with the trophies come from doing the many other achievements we have in RS3 than just slayer and fishing.

If we were working on it, we wouldn't be talking about it. Whilst this topic was brought up in 2017, 5 Years of Skilling presentation, our plans and approaches have changed since then. In terms of skilling updates in general, give us feedback on what players would like to see.

They never meant for a "construction rework". Making skilling content fun and for other purposes instead of reworking them is what they are doing.
