I have no idea if these ideas have been suggested but one thing that would make POH and construction better would be making it have better accessibility.

What I mean by that is first that you can construct a Lodestone inside your house entrance. Really makes it a Home Teleport then :}. Obviously would only be able to make one.

Before I continue I'm sure Jagex is working on being able to move the rooms around as well as the individual items. Just look at what they did with the aquarium? I can easily see the interface used to customize the aquarium item layout used to customize each and every room as well as rearrange the rooms themselves.

It does make me wonder if they plan to scrap rooms altogether and instead make it more customizable where you can have a room the size of four of our current rooms and every square and wall spot you can place or build something. It should be feasible.

So back to what I was talking about earlier. Obviously portal rooms are hardly used at all anymore. Here's what could be put in its place instead, which would be so much better. Instead of having to build a bunch of portal rooms instead have one portal/whatever that can go to whatever you unlock.

It could be similar to the Tortle Portal. Instead of directing a portal to an area you need to construct a node at that area. These nodes are set in the world similar to those hidey-hole shortcuts that you can build. You can also enter your house through these nodes. It wouldn't be terrible since you already have the Lodestone in your house.

Obviously there's also trying to make your house more accessible to other players for fun. There could be POH group teleport or actually better yet an item you can place similar to the Clan Vexellum that people can interact with to teleport to your house.

The last thing for accessibility would be getting around your POH. Probably the best way would be being able to place teleport nodes in each room if you want to and teleporting to them.

Another thing I would like to see would be being able to apply the Construction skill in a major way outside of just the Player Owned House.

What do I mean by this? Remember the scrapped The Church of You concept idea. How about instead of that we can build some sort of faction that's lead by you. Something like the White Knights, the Black Knights or the Wizard Tower. It would be more than just building your own Legends or Max guild but along those lines.

Obviously we would need a large building and require all sorts of things being built for that to work. So to first unlock it say 60 Construction and some other skills.

I suppose it would be similar to the Player Owned Ports but instead it's a Player Owned Faction/Castle. I guess I haven't thought much beyond that. I guess you could recruit people and send them on missions? Hmm that's probably too similar to Player Owned Ports. I'm sure someone could come up with something.

I guess one thing that could differentiate it would be being able to grind Construction xp.

I don't know I guess I would just like to build castle and a faction to call my own. Why else would I learn Construction and go on every quest XD

Oh here's something that I just thought of that would be awesome. It occurred to me while making a pie that it's still very tedious to create flour and dough. Also playing the Elemental Workshop quests made me think of it as well.

So how about the Player Owned Factory. Probably requiring both Construction and Invention to open and use.

I would love to be able to make an assembly line to make me lots of food.

It seems kind of neat if you think about it.

I'm sure there many ways to balance it and it already requires a lot of skills to unlock with both Invention an Construction needed so that's certainly a factor. I could probably make a whole thread on it. Perhaps I'll post it on Reddit.

Perhaps also Magic would be needed for Player Owned Factory. Remember the Hand in the Sand quest? Ya that would certainly be useful. Also creating Rune Golems to work in your factory.

Support, even if it means delaying other updates. Construction has potential to be the most interesting skill in RS. Right now though, it's clearly very outdated and not a fun skill to train. I wouldn't even bother with it if it wasn't a requirement for other game content. :D
