Hello. I am adding a post to my own Thread.

I haven’t been playing RuneScape for quite awhile now. I’m very busy in real life at the moment. And for me to really get back into playing RuneScape I need a faster computer. My computer is too slow now for most of the mini-games, and parts of RuneScape are now slow for me to move around in.

I do intend to keep this Thread alive.

Can I ask you who have added posts to this Thread this question;

Do you think RuneScape is centred too much around Combat? More now than before.

I really enjoyed the Construction skill when Jagex gave us this skill. But now I feel Jagex can make the Construction skill look a lot more interesting. Players (unless I am wrong) don’t have house parties because our houses look too boring.

I do want to play RuneScape again. But I can't play much at the moment. And concerning this Thread like I have said above I do want to keep this Thread alive. So please keep adding your valuable posts.

And Thank You for all of your posts so far.

I think the Construction skill is really in need of an update myself. It is extremely outdated and the training methods are so expensive, maybe include another way to train it along with more viable usability.

I just think that it needs an update with graphics and maybe a few new things to build, and lastly a way to publicly show/host your house while your offline. The training method is fine as is, everything is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, economics 101, so just deal with it.

Training method is the worst ive seen for any skill period. So no, it's not fine to add and remove a piece of furniture to 99. It's like creating a new folder on your desktop and then deleting it over and over again.

The only saving grace of this skill comes at lvl 75 and 50 for portals and prayer training, and also it's fast exp rate. Aside from that, this skill is 100% worthless.

I think one of the biggest issues with construction....besides the obvious is that flatbacks are worthless. Your traing con, but what your producing, isn't even half of whats being produced.

When they finally get around to a construction update, because seriously Construction needs an almost complete overhaul; Jagex should look into creating more uses for flat backs.

Also maybe being able to use the ring of chaos on the lumberyard guy, or the ability to create planks ourselves would be nice. I for one would love to have a lumberyard room.

The last time Jagex looked into this they wanted to create a Player Owned Port style minigame. Which is a total rip off by the way. I don't want another minigame, I want a better skill, one that is more then eye candy....which it isn't anymore. A

I await the day where I can make my house entirely Zarosian themed. It'd be so amazing if we could make our personal altar to switch between prayers and curses, like you can in Falador if you complete the Elite tasks. I suppose only time will tell.

I agree with you. Construction is pretty dull with it's lack of ways to train it without spending millions. They should add something, like a minigame, or perhaps some activity that can only be done either daily, weekly or monthly.

Regardless, the skill is extremely outdated, and as another has said before, it's only real purpose is to grant you portals (which are kind of somewhat pointless with loadstones existing), and a great way to train Prayer. Other than that, all you're really able to do is host a pvp party in your house dungeon, but I haven't seen anyone doing those for years, and they only ever happened mainly in Rimmington.

I think it'd be interesting to add an in-game feature which would allow you to manually choose to build/replace x amount of objects for training. For example it takes 8 oak planks to build an oak larder. Instead of manually clicking to build, destroy, and repeat why not allow our character to do all this in one smooth animation, and save future construction workers the need to get carpel tunnel while training an incredibly outdated skill?

Another idea would be to manually have the ability to get an overhead view of the PoH and manually move rooms around. This would allow players to change things up, without wasting their efforts and time invested into creating a room.

Quest item box----This has been asked for many times over many years and I cannot fathom why this has not entered the game yet

Personal fairy rings-----nother really requested item

Personal drop party rooms? much like the one in falador.

I'm deeply disappointed to come back to rs to see POH and nearly every single mini-game dead. I support making construction a f2p skill up to a certain point to put life back into the skill. Jagex still hasn't come up with a way for people to advertise their houses to other people ingame. How hard is it to just put a banner next to the POH that lists houses that are open to the public.

Haven't seen a single house worth exploring. Everyone's house in world 31 and 115 looks like ****. My 100m+ house is collecting dust. I missed the days where people hang out at house parties without worrying about exp lost.
