He can also cloak himself with the Kage stealth system (though as that involves manipulation of the electromagnetic spectrum, it could be technically classified under his field-manipulation capabilities), complete with full muffling of any sound that he or anything he uses makes.

His brain was in fact the mental pattern all CORTANA-class AIs are based upon (though they are undergoing a series of modifications and augments to better suit re-integration, as two copies of the same consciousness in the same body is not optimal), as it was deemed both easier for re-integration and better for their
intended purpose if they were similar to the other half of their intended gestalts.

Due to his unique construction, once a CORTANA-class AIs has been integrated to his consciousness, he will be capable of fully interfacing with the Hyperion Warsuit such that it will effectively become just like a second layer of skin over his body.

Soldiers work at the Greater Arretium Military Base just outside of Arretium. They're ready to dispatch Kidros in the Arretium area in case of rebels.

SERGEANT GREENE: Captain! Rebel forces seen to the west, about half a kilometer, sending Kidros out.

He pushes the button, and sends commands to the Kidros, but they don't move.

GREENE: Captain, I reckon the Kidros are fault-

As he looks at the Captain, he realizes the problem, the Captain is holding down the Cancel Command button.

GREENE: Captain, what are you doing?

CAPTAIN: Helping my allies.

He pulls out his pistol and shoots Greene, three other soldiers move in and prepare to shoot, but the Captain puts his hand over the Cancel Shielding button, which would end the shielding of the base.

CAPTAIN: You don't want them coming in and taking all these Kidros, do you?

The soldiers lower their guns.

CAPTAIN: Good. See you in hell.

He shoots the three soldiers and hits the Cancel Shielding button, the rebels come into the base, ready to launch this war.

New Projects:

Teleportation Signal Jammers:
As the name states this technology will be designed to block incoming teleportation without the use of a TES. (10 y)

Star gate:
This project is to design a wormhole transportation device to allow transport between worlds. They won’t be actual star gates but will look similar but up scaled to allow a tank sized object to go through. (15 y)

Plasma Guns Mk2:
Plasma guns are to be upgraded to hold more shots per battery pack, and to increase cooling capabilities. (3 y)

Plasma Cannons:
Plasma cannons are up scaled vehicle mounted plasma guns. They are capable of taking out small vehicle and groups of infantry. (3 y)

Melta guns Mk2:
Meltaguns have been it service for many years; technological developments have made upgrades to the design to be made. The Mk2s will have a range of 150 metres; 100 more than the Mk1s. It will also have an increased fire time before cool down is needed; going from 5 seconds of fire than 20 seconds of cool down to 15 seconds of fire then 10 seconds of cool down. (3 y)

MultiMeltas:
MultiMeltas will basically be 2 to 4 up scaled Mk2 melta guns put together. They are too big to be used by infantry and thus need to be mounted on a vehicle. (3 y)

TES Mk2:
The Tanicia Energy shield is getting old and needs an upgrade. The Mk2 will be capable of withstanding 25 times the amount of damage from both energy and kinetic attacks. It will replace all TES mk1s over a 3 year period. (6 y)

Upgraded Rail Guns:
Tanicia’s small arms are in need of an upgrade here are the new models. (3 y)

RG68A3:
This iteration of the RG68 rifle will be more reliable, lighter and be over all superior to the RG68A2

New projects continued:

RGC9A1:
The RGC9A1 is an updated version of carbine that has been used by support forces for decades. It will have various upgrades that will increase performance.

LRG1:
The LRG1 will be the new sniper rifle of the Tanicia armed forces. It will have a range up to 6.5 km (provided that the horizon doesn't get in the way). It will have a multi-powered scope to allow the user to fire the weapon up to its maximum range. This rifle will be used by snipers and designated riflemen. It will have 20 rounds per magazine and fire the same calibre as the RG68A3 and RGC9A1

MRG2:
The MRG2 will be the new general-purpose machine gun. It will have a rate of fire at 900 rounds a minute fire the same round as the other rifles in service. It will be used at a squad base level but also be used on vehicles.

RGP6:
The RGP6 will be the new side arm. It will be issued to officers, MPs, medics and other personal who are not meant to be in combat and having to carry a carbine would interfere with their duties.

Plasma Mortar:
The plasma mortar will be platoon level light artillery. It will launch an 80mm mortar round that upon detonation causes a chemical reaction that creates a blast of plasma that reaches 1000s of degrees. A typical crew size will be 4 men, 1 man to aim the mortar, one to load, one to carry and prepare the ammo and one man to guard the others as they do their work. (3 y)

Rhino APC:
The Rhino Armoured Personal Carrier is to be the Tanician Marine Corp’s new land transport. It will be able to hold a 10 man squad as well as the driver and gunner. It will have 2 cm think Titanium-A armour plating with explosive reactive armour as well as a TES. It will have multiple Tank Cracker missiles to defend from heavy armour as well as two mounts for various turrets including rail guns, plasma guns and meltaguns. The Rhino will be capable of being air lifted by RDX Transports and being orbital dropped in specially designed drop pods.

Razorback AFV:
The Razorback Armoured Fighting Vehicle is modification of the Rhino APC. It sacrifices half of its space for personal for extra firepower. It has the same defences as the APC but now has either a Dual plasma cannon or a 30mm rail chain gun. (6 y)

Predator Main Battle Tank:
The Predator will be the new Main Battle Tank for Tanicia ground forces. While it shares the shape of Rhino APC and Razorback AFV it completely out classes them. It has 10cm Titanium-A armour with a 4mm Ceramite over coat as well as explosive reactive armour and a TES. It has a 200mm coil gun as its main armament as well as 2 MRG2 turrets. It will be capable of being air lifted by RDX Transports and being orbital dropped in specially designed drop pods. It will also have amphibious capabilities allowing it to travel over rivers lakes and oceans. (6 y)

Chimera APC:
The Chimera Armoured Personal Carrier is to be the Tanician Army’s new land transport. It will have 2.5 cm Titanium-A plaiting, reactive armour and a TES. It will be able to hold a squad of 12 soldiers. It will have two Tank-Cracker missiles and MRG2 turret as its default armament it will also have a large turret with either a 45mm coil gun, dual plasma cannons or dual multimeltas. The Chimera will have amphibious capabilities allowing it to travel over rivers lakes and oceans it is also capable of being air lifted by RDX Transports. (6 y)

HFPE:

Artificial Intelligence Development Program:
This program will be run to design and construct artificial intelligence for a variety of uses from industry to military. This will be an ongoing project and there is no determined time that a true artificial intelligence will be created. (Forever)

Elements of the 2nd fleet have been sent to earth and are now orbiting over Singapore. A wet fleet from Vietnam has been stationed outside Singapore’s territorial waters.

HFPE:

On the lead ship of the 2nd fleet a communication is too the leaders of Singapore
“This is Admiral Anderson of the Republic of Tanicia I am here to conduct negotiations for Singapore’s annexation by Tanicia. As you can see you are outnumbered in every way. Do not resist or the same will happen to you as happened to California many years ago.”

A message from Singapore was rapidly sent back to the fleet.

“This is Jonathan Ng, we will not resist. Please send you diplomatic party for negotiations.”

UNKNOWN LOCATION, UNKNOWN TIME

The Republic of Tanicia has sent a partial fleet of warships into orbit over Singapore, and an entire naval fleet just outside its territorial waters. Shall we investigate further, Commander?

The message transfers instantly from one mind to another, not bothering to pass through the intervening space. The response is equally immediate, even though it is substantially more verbose.

No doubt they are there for conquest, that much is obvious. Against an under-developed nation like Singapore, sending half a space fleet and an entire naval one?Intimidation tactics, trying to force them to join the Republic without actually having to fight for it. Delve through Singapore's computer and communication systems - I want to know exactly what the message President Ng no doubt received calling for his surrender said, who and where he received it from, and everything you can get me on Singapore's military capabilities.

The last is said with an ironic twist - Singapore's cyberdefences could no more keep out a brand-new SADIST-class AI than the nation itself could survive a single Cataclysm detonation, let alone one with centuries of experience like the first speaker. "Everything you can" translates to every piece of data ever exchanged in Singapore by its sovereign systems.

Almost no time passes, and then the conversation resumes again, the first speaker having finished their task.

“This is Admiral Anderson of the Republic of Tanicia I am here to conduct negotiations for Singapore’s annexation by Tanicia. As you can see you are outnumbered in every way. Do not resist or the same will happen to you as happened to California many years ago.” That's the speech, Commander, and it was sent from the aforementioned Admiral Anderson's ship.
