EIDI (Emulated Intelligence Drone Infantry): 6y

EIDIs are basically robots for my military. They aren’t sentient or even alive but they can perform various tasks that a soldier can and have limited learning capabilities. They won’t replace organic infantry but work with them .There are various bodies EIDIs can use from a 15 ft tall 6 ton “heavy lifter” body (like YMIR mechs from mass effect) to the 6ft tall 90kg humanoid body.

Capabilities of the new drones:

•Capable of talking in and understanding all the common languages.
•Can be used in places that would require an environmental suit for organics.
•Its power supply can last for up to 10 years depending on how active the drone is
•Each drone will have a small energy shield and be covered in carapace armour.
•EIDIs (if they have a compatible body) are capable of using any hand held weapon a normal soldier can use.
•Can also have multiple heavy weapons (plasma cannons, melta guns etc.) attached to their chassis to act as quick moving fire support.
•Medical training to serve as a medic if needed.
•Various sensors that organics wouldn’t be able to process fast enough which they can share directly to other EIDIs to alert them to dangers and other important information.
•Will also transmit important data to organics at a speed they can comprehend.
•Aren’t just for combat; they can also be used for support work like maintenance and transporting supplies.
•Can be compacted in cramped spaces as they have no need for comfort. For example a drop pod can fit 6 organic soldiers without squashing them together. EIDIs on the other hand can fit up to 15 humanoid drones with equipment.
•A range of security measure to prevent EIDIs from being “hacked” (all though I don’t doubt some players will/can get around this)
•Hardcoded to not harm Tanicians or allies unless purposely attacked
•Can take far more damage than organics and still function (e.g. can lose limbs and continue working until it is repaired)

As per Motion 23, I will disband the dynamic council and establish a new dictatorship dynamic council. The BoSS thanks the members who participated on the Second Council.

Agents over the last 28 years have been infiltrating various positions of power in Vorno’s earth land (mainly Burma and Loas). Many agents have gained roles in Vorno’s military and intelligence agency/s. Other agents have been infiltrating terrorist groups from Vorno (as in their members are from Vorno not they are against Vorno).

Just wondering how to interact with inactive countries mainly regarding military and intelligence stuff. Do I just treat them like a NPC (how I am currently doing it) or is that still god modding and there a different way of doing it?

@j86: Strictly speaking, after committing major acts of war or espionage, you need to let the other player respond, but for very inactive countries (not sure if Vorno falls into this category, I'd have to check EDIT: Yeah, it's been inactive for over a year), you could ask a BoSS Member to submit a motion (or just arbitrate) regarding classifying the country as an NPC for the purposes of the war.

Well in that case, would any boss members be willing to submit a motion or arbitrate about classifying vorno as an NPC for the the war/espionage plot I am doing? Vorno has been inactive for over a year so waiting for them reply most likely wouldn't work. This should probably even extend to all extremely inactive countries but your call.
