@Nop, Overall a very good drawing, I feel like your drawing could have used a little more shading though, I think that could have put it over the top.
@Jokku, LH7 - I really liked the two of yours. Jokkus was pretty good in that it looked simple and had just the right amount of shading. I think LH7 did just a little bit better though in that her drawing had quite a bit more details and was more complex.
@Saph - I really would of liked to have seen those alignment issues fixed, but overall still a really good drawing.

Nop * I think this was a tough image to draw, considering it is fairly high detailed with the unfortunate limitations of 2000 characters. I understand that you may not have been able to add in more detail due to the limit, but I would have liked to have seen more details perhaps on the clothing and faces.
Jokku * The issue with drawing the Vader mask is that it is such an iconic image that we all automatically know what it's supposed to look like. While I immediately recognize it as the mask, I feel it lacks several details that could've made this a winning entry. I also feel you limited yourself with the characters you used, such as the extensive use of '/'. I think if you practice more on your angles and character variety you'll have a lot of success.
Long Hair * I love your BB8.
I know you utilized shading, and while the theory of it is good, in terms of the order of characters, I do not think it represents a spherical object. I would have perhaps extended the last three lines of shading to reach further left, as the under side of a sphere will typically be darker considering where you have placed your light source.
Cyanid — I think this is a very decent logo when considering the size restrictions you have given it. However, I feel it lacks quite a bit of detail and character variety, leaving you with rather faint lines that get somewhat lost within the period spacing. I think making it slightly larger will give you the opportunity to fully utilize the characters and make it stand out more.

It doesn't have a lot of detail, but the figures' contours are nicely done.

Good perspective, nice use of shading, just doesn't have a lot of detail outside of the face part of the mask.

The drawing is pretty simple, but I like the perspective, and the outlines are good.

I really like the amount of detail and your use of characters. The bottom third is kind of confusing to look at; it might have helped of the black part of his face was distinguishable from the red, maybe by using alt spacing or something (you'd probably know better than me
).

Weird question and completely off-topic, but are you the person that used to be in RSMVs back in the day?
My apologies if you're not, I do remember one of the popular users being called 'Long Hair' something anyway.

Yep, RuneScape was a good game.
5 entries is not too bad, quite successful competition I think!
Sap*, shame about the character limit, but you must have very high standards if you call that
awful
:o It looks like there are some serious alignment issues, though, unless I'm missing something (GC 100% zoom). I can help with rating but I would like to hear about that before I rate!
Haha, thanks Jokku.
I know Cyanid also made a point of character alignment, but on my screen the characters do line up. I am using Mozilla Firefox, 100%. On my screen, the right side of the face is slightly oddly shaped, but it coheres with the image reference that I used. :/
EDIT: Also, Page 8, Post 10 is my official entry. I know the split image does have alignment issues.
