Are we doing a competition for beginners? If we do that, I'll pay the prize money. Maybe 5m for the top prize, 2.5m for second, 1m for third, and 100k for each beginner who gets a scoring of 5 and above (I'd really like to see people participating, lol). I don't think hiscores would be practical in this sort of competition; anyone who draws long enough wouldn't qualify for a beginner's competition anymore. A RuneScape-related theme (weapons, armour, npc's, etc.) might be good since we already know beginners would be familiar with RuneScape. :P

What do you guys think?

No. I really don't see any point. Anyone can enter, regardless of skill level. If they want to learn how to improve their ASCII skills, there are threads available in which they can do that.

^That's true, beginners can do that, but the problem is almost none have actually done it. It's still just us, and we rarely get anyone new posting ascii. If you don't want your competition format to be part of it, we don't have to use it, we can make a separate more informal one
(edit: as in just a stand-alone thread, not a new competition series like yours)
