Meh may as well pull the finishing move for Xox now. Since this fight has dragged on for long enough and at this rate it'll probably drag on for another 10 months.

*surprised at xox' decision, i reenter the arena and consult the wisp containing my army*

"this is no longer a duel. you must intervene at once!"

*as xox decides to tear the whole place down, i decide to abandon our agreement as the beam could cause untold collateral damage. i absorb the essence of my army, gaining their powers, and blink to the surface at the spot where the beam would land. the beam seen above moves relatively slowly, but hasty action is still required. i use whatever power i have left to channel my rage and jump up in the air with tremendous force, hoping i can tank the hit. i use my shadow-forger powers to envelop myself in darkness and my night-gazer powers to use the darkness as a shield, combining it with the natural durability given to me by the rage. the beam hits me with incredible power and i spring back to the ground, the beam dissipates upon impact and the shadow shield was torn apart by the sheer force, leaving me exausted. in one final stroke, i make another leap towards xox, who had used all his power in firing the beam, and hit him with my fist. still airborne, i grab his head and fire a burst of destructive magic from my hands. i finish this by using gravity to smash his head toward the surface, killing xox. i stand up and look at the body, then use the combined might of my mages to destroy the body with a single burst of fire*

*after this the spirit of my army seems to leave me on their own will. they morph in to a familiar face, a man in full primal armor, the same person i saw die during the daemonheim massacre. we look at each other for a moment, then the warrior looks in the air. as the souls of my army can finally rest in peace, the warrior seems to vanish, never to be seen again*

*the overseer of the show recording the fight teleports me to an arena so i can be properly congratulated for winning the fight. i take a quick look at the audience and walk away silently, to everyones surprise (no, not the person named everyone). i leave through the door, try to figure out where i am then walk in the direction of varrock. i walk through the landscape uninterrupted as everyone is afraid to intervene. once i reach varrock, i cross the varrock-wilderness border and the old version of "dangerous" starts to play. it is a slow walk to what used to be daemonheim and i look at the ruins. i kneel for a moment then use the respite to forge new armor and weaponry with the seemingly unlimited amount of gorgonite ore i have with me at all times, using megaleather to serve as scabbards (since normal leather gets too easily cut). i stand in front of the ruins, between where the bank and dungeoneering tutor would be, and kneel for a good half minute. as i stand up, the music gets replaced by the new version of "dangerous" and i walk away from the site. i take refuge in a cavern somewhere in the wilderness unmarked on the map and use the time to accept what happened and move on*

Hey guys, Master 1 here.

As you can tell, I changed my name. Long story made short, I wanted a name that wasn't primarily numbers, and suited me better. Vahlok means 'Guardian' in the dragon language of The Elder Scrolls. Would have gone for something to do with balance, but that is 'Ro', which is a short word and hard to fit in a 12 character limit without it looking weird.

Also I had a D&D Character named Vahlok SeReyliik (literally Guardian of Heritage) and I really liked that name.

So anyway, I'm not properly returning to Forum Fight, I just wanted anyone who remembers me to know that I'm a little different in username now.

Edit 1: It was an honour to play this wonderful Forum Game with all of you, those still here and those who departed and won't read this but I don't mind. It was a shame that over the course of time that we ran out of ideas, stories, and ultimately, new things to do. All good things must come to an end, so they say, and I shall always remember the days of my college years, visiting this very forum each day to check up on things, coming up with new weapons, finishing moves, and following the flow of the many adventures we had. Thank you all.

Edit 2: I know referencing another game is a kinda taboo for an mmo game's forum, but any admins reading this post, this is a very sentimental matter so please show mercy in this case.

Hey Master 1 great to know at least some of the old guard are still floating around. But yea I've had some ideas for what we could do but alas we don't have enough people for them to be really interesting. It also seems the VMG vs Xox duel has sapped a bit of life from this thread.

Ahh well I guess go back to waiting till something happens. I really should make some pages on the wiki but you know laziness. The statement below is false.

Yeah, I guess since the main veterans left there aren't as many of us newer players here as there presumably were when the old FFA thing was going on. It seems to just be 3 of us really, Ashlin, VMG and I.

I suppose I can't blame you for getting sentimental, I probably would if I were in your position/had been on here as long and as often as you. I plan on continuing here if I can. Anyway, it was a pleasure sharing that duel a while ago. :D

So, I kinda realized as far as forum RPs and games and stuff goes, I play too reactively and not proactively enough, so i don't really add much interest or activity to a thread. I'm going to start to put together some ideas for stories and stuff. Ashlin's already doing this, but having more than one thing going on can't hurt. Hopefully.

One idea I have, is maybe we could start a new story arc in a brand new universe/setting, that way we can sort of write our own lore without contradicting the older lore of the absolutes etc.So, basically kind of like refreshing/resetting it but keeping the old stuff as well, just separate from our stories.

EDIT- oh, we should totally come up with our own fancy titles XD

NVM, I can't find anything that sounds as cool as 'Absolute' :|

Actually, Impel and Incite sound cool, using a verb kind of like Exalt in FE. What do you guys think? Or does it just sound like a dumb idea in general?

hmm, a reset does not seem that bad, especially now that my story arc has pretty much finished. as long as i get to keep my character, i do not mind a reset. maybe at a time before the event of the previous forum fight and before i met yontyv, in order to give my character more depth (then again i think seeing him after his quest for vengeance would do the same thing)

speaking of FE, i always imagine my character in those games just to see how he would interact with the others and how the other characters would react to his actions. helps me greatly with fine tuning his personality
