The mage staggers from the impact, now having to stay away from the poison coming out of the ground. In order to do this, he uses his armor t hover a few feet off the ground, allowing him to avoid these attacks.
He shoots blasts of light at Mad Guy to try and blind him, but his opponent simply summons walls of a shadowy substance to negate them. The mage throws the polearm at his opponent, using a flame portal to teleport it back to him, before rushing forward and attacking head-on.
After some attacks and parries, the mage is knocked back into the air, losing balance temporarily. Mad Guy uses this opportunity to open portals which a grey energy comes out of, momentarily lowering the mage's stats.
((I forgot that at least one of Mad Guy's hammers was just stolen, but the principle still works.))
((Also, I've got a ore detailed list of those stones. I said there were five, but there are too many posts for just five.
Post - Stone property - how it is won from an opponent
10 - speed - moves around to random stones, or win it in a race
50 - physical - victory in battle through physical prowess
100 - magic - victory in battle through magical prowess
500 - Status conditions - if you get a status condition form someone's attack
1000 - elements - If you manage to get a super-effective attack on your opponent
5000 - support - If you fully restore your opponent's health and stats etc.
10000 - empty (changes depending on recipient, permanently awakens all of their abilities from next thread onwards) - n/a
n/a - Supreme (If you have all other stones, fuse all stones together to form this one, which stays as one stone in next thread, and you start with it. Has properties of all other stones)
killing an opponent always grants you their stone(*), except for speed, support and empty
So yeah that's pretty convoluted and longer than my actual post))
