Well that doesn't change the fact that the end of your post was completely misleading. Yes you didn't lie and I apologise for that accusation. But like I said it is completely misleading. That's how these misunderstandings start.

Lets pretend for a moment you know nothing about the Shadowforger. You then see the end of that post and see that you call shadowforging the manipulation of positive energy. But then you go to the wiki and see that it's the manipulation of negative energy.

But of course you mentioned that the shadowforging is more or less can use positive energy which has been converted to negative energy in the section. Of course you wouldn't know that because you didn't think to look and see if it was relevant which it was. Can you see how all of this evolved now?

Back to your game example. Well what if on your guide you said on one of the tougher bosses you said to use a certain attack on that boss. But you forgot to mention when to use that attack. This would lead to many people accusing you of cheating the game even though you didn't. So if you didn't make that one mistake while writing your guide.

But really now taking 3 posts just for an argument. Now where have I heard that before. Plus for ironies sake you've actually had a go at me before for a similar misunderstanding before on the eleven realms thread. The statement below is false.

The problem is that it's not misleading.

All the information you needed to answer every single one of your questions and issues was right there , either in what I had already said, or in her wiki article.

All you ever needed to do was read her wiki article thoroughly once or twice - is that not obvious from the fact that half of my responses to your points was to quote some of it or to direct you to a particular section?

It is no fault of mine if you only ever skim-read it, or if I used words that you've not encountered before, or if the fairly obvious implications and statements of particular paragraphs went over your head.

I do not answer to you when it comes to my own characters, or the way I speak and write.

I know I ended up writing a summarising post - that was because I had tried literally every other way to make you understand except to dumb it down, and write it as simply as I possibly could.

If you had read the wiki article about her powers properly, you would never have had any trouble at all - you would have seen "harness positive energy" as "well there's literally an entire section on how she can do that with her Exaltation ", and "forges into and from the shadows of things" as "well there's also a paragraph within that section that literally says the exact same thing ".

Look. I really don't know how else to say this other than pay attention to what other people say ; most of the time, the fault lies in your own understanding (and when I say you, I mean everyone, because I've done the same) rather than the other person deliberately misleading you.

I doubt it was a similar misunderstanding, since Ash*in--the character--doesn't have a wiki article of his own that could answer every question I might have had.

That said, just because I did something in the past doesn't mean I wasn't wrong to do it, and it doesn't mean you're not wrong now either.

The question makes you giggle, soft and rippling like a creek over its worn bed.

It’s a distinctly elvish laugh, assumed by your people to put other lifeforms at ease, thanks to their ancient conditioning in regards to the life-giving substance.

It just makes her squeeze the grip of her ridiculous sword tighter.

The Devil You Don’t dances in the air, spun by your fingers first forward, then back. The display seems to irritate her more, and she takes a step toward you, the giant sword in tow.

You drain the mirth from your face as the grip of TDYD slaps into your palm, instantly ceasing its frolicking motion before you throw the weapon in Natasha’s face.

Halfway in its arc to the Shadowforger the handcannon begins to distort like a snowman on a warm day, As if your touch was the only thing that had prevented it from melting to a puddle.

“You will call me Faylne, Natasha Dæmondöttr.” You whisper as she closes the last few meters between you in an enraged sprint.

They are your first words. If you had been born another way, these would be cherished and documented. As it is, the encroaching chaos will likely devour all records of the days before.

“And I am a monument to all your sins.”

She swings a hungry blade, and you sidestep through space, arriving on the end of her sword just as it comes to a stop at the end of her stroke.

“You missed.*

She aligns the edge again, trying to cleave you asunder as you slide from your perch.
You move again, converting every iota of your momentum within the dozens of planes of All to pure spa**al velocity, moving at a speed literally measured as 'undefined'.

As intended, you appear behind Natasha just as her second stroke is redirected toward your new position. You vault over her, pushing off her shoulder and then her head as you flip back through the air before shifting location for a third time.

Where your right hand had pressed against her paul*ron a moment before, silvery wisps begin to form as the armor covering the Scion’s right shoulder evaporates, mingling with the grey smoke leaking from the Ardan emblem now burned into Natasha's shoulder.

She realizes the effect immediately, covering the three-inch gap now marring the smooth exterior of her armor with her shadowforging hand.

“It is a little unfair.” You think. “ Tricking her into momentarily covering unprotected flesh with yet more so that I can strike both at once… Fathers would be proud.”

The metallic energy trickling from your hand expands, taking on the shape of a curved sword.

Natasha’s sword intercepts you as you appear in the air above her, disregarding the other attackers scattered through around the tower in favor of focusing on the most immediate threat.

Unfortunately for her, the guarding motion is made awkward by her protective stance. The guard fails to align the edges properly, and the monomolecular edge sharpened by Mother herself glances off your armor.

A simple draw stroke severs tendon and bone without discrimination, slicing through hand and shoulder muscles alike as the angelwrought sword cuts through the exposed flesh before getting caught in Natasha’s armor.

Rather than wrench the weapon free, you shift away one last time, balanced lightly on the shreds of railing jutting out into the empty space above your birthplace.

*Not that I wouldn’t love to stay and play some more, I have more pressing tasks that require my presence in another plane.”

A portal of light rips open before you, revealing a sandy floored arena.

“Allons-y!”

Yuriel is watching as Aylss dies, and it wounds him. The monitor that reveals her broken body to him shatters almost the moment of her death, torn apart by a vicious lash of lightning. A trembling fist collides with the wall, the almost indestructible wall of a reality, and it bends, forced back by some form of kinetic shielding.

There is a short period of silence, a handul of seconds at most, before Sarah tentatively begins to speak.

"Yur--"

"Dammit!"

A booted foot slams mercilessly against the pocket dimension in a staccato trio of blows, and an alarm unheard by the assassin draws his AI's attention.

"Biological damage detected. Yuriel, don't break your foot, okay?"

A hidden projector flickers into life, a life-size solid-light representation of the intelligence that shared Yuriel's brain taking shape, gently caressing his cheek.

"C'mon, you're a professional. You have a job to do."

With an angry grunt, Agent Light slaps away the soothing hand, reaching for his akubra.

"Don't do that, Sarah. You're an AI, not a person. And I'm not a child anymore."

She responds with an exasperated sigh.

"I know. Now yank me so we can get on with the job."

Fully attired once more, he reaches to the keyboard and reclaims the SEK*MET-class AI chip, slotting it back into his head and grimacing as the (grudglingly) familiar sensation flows through him. A light hiss indicates the activation of a healing unit by his injured foot.

"Sarah, activate the LoD. And get me any bounties on those bumblers at the Tower."

Looking back to the screens, Yuriel sees the first words of Faylne, and realises he's out of time. He needs to strike now or lose money. He tilts his hat and draws his revolvers.

"Shift us to an empty Hammerspace. I'll attack from there."

The monitor room is replaced by white. An empty, infinite plane with nothing more than a floor. If you accepted that gravity was pushing you downward, and not in some other direction as the philosophers theorised.

Entering a ready stance, the infamous wetboy opened fire. The very instant the bullets reached the end of their barrels, a tear in reality stole them away and returned them to existence in a different place; a different dimension, the bullets having virtually no room to continue their flight as they appeared adjacent to their target.

Basic AI in the rounds identified their obstacle as the Shadowforger, and activated the microscopic weapons known as Micro Oblivions--a miniaturised version of the Absolute Zero line, known for literally erasing their targets from existence--which were embedded in each bullet.

This fire will be sustained until Sarah notes an incursion on Agent Light's present plane of existence, at which point he will begin a rapid series of near-instantaneous Hammerspace jumps into a randomised set of pre-approved dimensions while maintaining his attack.

As if out of nowhere, a purple fish appears in front of Mad Guy. It floats in the air in front if his face for a few seconds, before slapping him rather painfully in the face, despite him having a protective helmet on. Three times, in fact. One for every post he wasted.

"Hey wait a minute-" The cloaked fighter walks over to the scene and grabs the fish by the tail, much to its dismay.

"Who're you? Where's that blue one?"

The fish manages to struggle free from the pyroconjurer's grasp, and shoots him the closest thing a fish could muster to an irritated look.

"Who do you think I am? I'm the Purple Floating Fish, obviously. Blue got turned into a swordfish for some reason so no doubt she's recovering from how stressful her job is. What with all these double posts, and most of them aren't even deliberate. there's just no satisfaction to it when you find out it's because of a faulty internet connection... Anyway, I'm filling in for her."

"...Why...?"

"Because I'm a nice person! " it shouts rather angrily.

"Yeah. Sure, real nice..." The mage leans over to Pyro and Mad Guy, "I think I've figured out a way to help you get back home, but I'll need some clarification since I missed most of what you said. Anyway," he continues, "Maybe we ought to finish off here first. Oh wait - the elf's leaving for now, maybe we can get it done quickly."

Just then, there's a strange noise somewhere between a page tearing and reality warping. I you wrote it down, it would probably look like this; Shhhrrrrrr-POP.

Two grey stones about the size of small teas light appear in the air and hover down in front of the conjurer and Mad Guy. They're talismans of some sort, with etchings on them.

" Milestones? "

"Oh...I meant Pyro. Uh, anyway, I think you got that stone because you defeated Yontyv earlier on...it should let you control your own physical stats. So you can decrease either your physical defense or your physical attack, in order to increase the other one. I think I got the magic milestone. Some guy called Nop Patar got the first milestone, and no-one defeated him, so...that one's lost for now."

Just some clarification, the milestones are an idea I came up with recently. You get them by claiming milestone posts, so if you are 10th, 50th, 100th, 500th or 1000th poster, you get the corresponding stone. Each one allows you to change two of your stats at will but to increase one you have to decrease the other proportionally. If it's too complicated just don't use it.

Nop Patar posted 10th, then left. Yontyv got post 50, but Mad Guy defeated him in battle, so when the milestones came into being the second one went straight to Mad Guy since he is currently the rightful holder. I got the 100th post, as it turns out.

If you get two or more milestones, you have complete flexibility with them, so you can use them with fours stats, and you can lower one to raise any of the other three. When a new thread begins they leave their current holders, reunite, and dissipate, waiting to be claimed again in the new thread.

How does my character know about these before they even existed? Continuity error. I'll come up with something to fill that little plot-hole...

EDIT-Thank you, Magery, for reacting to Ash*in like that. because now i know how to get you angry, and if I can get you angry, I can probably work out how to get your character angry. Which, for some reason, I get the feeling, wouldn't exactly work in her advantage...basically, it looks like her emotions are her weak spot. I might be wrong of course.
