It is hard to roleplay with just us three, although I don't want to stop.))
Dalnius explained adrenaline in lay-elf terms (how it increased blood circulation, metabolism and prepares muscles for use, etc), realizing someone from a medieval world wouldn't know about bodily chemicals. He trails off when he realizes Annie is telepathically talking to Kairi, and decide not to interject, not wanting to be rude.
He steps into the portal with Annie then follows her to Hope's room. He doesn't rush forward thought when he sees hope. Just smiles, not entirely sure what he should be doing.
A moment passed.
Dalnius's smiled turned thoughtful. "The gods have gone silent, Leo, Sora, Motte. They have all vanished, I can't even detect Hamish. I think they have reached an impasse, for all we know they could be gone for years." He turned to Annie. "Speaking of time, I think I should tell you something about your apprenticeship."
