Shiro thought long and hard while he attacked. Sora created each darkfiend for a purpose. It was no coincidence that the three serpents moved toward Annie and the other two who were more brutish were moving toward him. What was Sora up to? Shiro flipped behind one of the darkfiends and spun his sword. He was stunned when the beast was able to counter and make him stagger. The second rounded on him and cut his coat. He barely missed skin.
The three darkfiends easily evaded Annie's attacks. They moved like serpents. They had special skill when it came to evading a target, even at close range. Sora did create them special for both of them. Annie's greatest lacking talent was her consistency. Magic was easily readable if it wasn't changed up, and he sword skills were hardly unique. Shiro's lack was his strength and stamina. He lost the skill he once possessed. However, he still had a unique way of attacking which could surprise opponents. If he could regain his former skill he would once again be formidable.
"Annie, magic won't work against them. It's ineffective even if it strikes them, unless you use something overwhelmingly powerful. And spinning around with your sword like that will get you no where, you have to come up with something new, something that they will not expect." Sora commanded from the shadow, still unseen to the eye.
"So that's his game? A training exercise formed around our weaknesses," Shiro muttered to himself. His eyes glowed and his face hardened. He slid beneath a sword and in between the darkfiend's legs with impeccable grace. His sword slid through the back of the beast's legs and threw it off balance. Before the other could even try to come to aid of it's fellow darkfiend, the head was falling to the ground. Sora smiled in the shadows, and two more darkfiends appeared near Shiro.
