Because ive known her omost all my life.. I know how she can be..

He fliped the coin again.

" And since im telling you this shes gonna try to kill me.

"Ahh your just speaking nonsense to scare me... she's just a innocent girl who likes to play music is all." Lore said not even raising his head.

Norzak just smiled again and went outside.

Sarah went into her room and opened up the book. She was on her bed and had a bored look as she fliped a few pages.

The first page was the table of contents it looked like this

..............The Shifter Guide.....................
1.weaknesses
2.strengths
3.abilities
4.special objects...
the next 10 numbers had seemingly randomgibberish

Lore sighed, he was pretty close to death by bordem by now... he wished somebody would show up... "So... board... need to find somebody."

Kain started pacing around the inn he saw a guy on a couch wasn't his name lore? kain walked over to him whoever he was "Hey have you seen my book?" kain asked.

"As abrupt and rude as that was, I did pick up a book earlier... but maybe I won't tell you what happened to it." Lore smirked.

"Rude?," kain asked "Sorry if I am worried about the last peice of history of my entire race! Sorry if I am worried about a book that if someone with evil intentions get his or her hands on that book my race is doomed!" kain said quit angry now.

Zaku steped out of the great hall and went back by the bar and grabed one of those crazy drinks narzak had been drinking.

" You dare me? He said to lore.

Sarah fliped a few pages then back a few

" Hmmm.. Boring.. Guess ill read shifter weaknesses..

The page showed a picture of a man standing in a large forest and someone attacking him if Sarah put her hand on the picture it would show the man trying to shift and the other man pulled out a bronze blade and slashed the other man as he was changing the man who was changing turned back to normal and then was brutally murdered.

"Take it easy... man you sure know how to take the fun outta something..." Lore said, he shot Zaku a glare and hiss before returning to the man. "Now were was I... something about a book..." Lore pretended to think, he wanted this guy to snap.

Kain was FUMING! This guy didn't give a karap about a ENTIRE RACE from going extinct if you looked closely you could see a vein bulging on his neck

The picture changed.

" Oh my thats interesting...

Hmm now what to do with you... She said holding the book..

" I know!

She opened up her window and threw it outside.

" Well that was fun! hehehe

Zaku looked anoyed.

~ Meh this is nasty im not touching this..

He put the drink away and listened to the two people talk.

"You look a little stressed, maybe you should get some tea before I tell you were the book is." Lore smirked again and leaned back.

"You know what fine." kain said he went over to the bar bought some tea and tossed it into lores face "there, happy?" kain asked him smiling

Zaku burst out laughing then tryed to quickly shut himself back up.

"Hmm... you know what." Lore said wiping tea from his face. "I think I'll just keep this little secret from you." Lore smiled evily. "Tough luck for you..." Lore added.

"maybe I should just have some more tea then?" kain asked "Would you tell me then?" he asked smirking

Zaku managed to stop laughing but he was loveing this.

"Hmm... more tea or watching your face turn red." Lore pretended to think. "It's gonna take alot more than tea to convince me." Lore said stretching casually.

"really..." kain said "I could always get the really hot kind of tea, would that work?"

Norzak steped in.

" Hey someone just threw a book out the window.. Just thought you should know..

"I could always shove a blade into you and end this right now." Lore mocked Kain's tone the laughed.

"You could try." kain said "Mr.I'm-so-strong-and-better-than-you." kain said mocking lore also he didn't hear about his book though

"Ohh I'm scared, wadda you gonna do? Throw tea at me again?" Lore laughed. "I'm scared now!" Lore pretended to shake.

Dude, are you drunk?" kain asked completely serious "seriously are you drunk?" he asked again

"No." Lore said. "Why? Is that all you can fight are drunks?" Lore asked with a hint of mocking in his voice.

"nope wanna test your theory on that?" kain asked challenging him.

Lore rolled his eyes. "Go on, TRY to beat up the kid on the couch." Lore said making no movement to his weapon.

"I like a challenge," kain said "You up to that? or do I have to wait?"

"I'll make you wait." Lore mocked then laid on his back. "By the way that books been sitting outside that window for the past half hour.

"honestly right now I don't care and I think I'll wait till you AREN'T drunk" Kain exclaimed he wanted to teach this smart alec a thing or two.

"You know I'm not drunk, so go ahead and attack, I'll fight back if thats what you want." Lore said sitting up and stretching.

"I allready said I like a challenge I'm just waiting for you kain said and reached into his back pack and took out the white dried stag meat only it looked like regular dried meat.

Lore lazily threw a dagger at Kain's head although it was still going quite fast. Lore yawned got up and threw two more daggers before slowly walking to the stairs.

Kain simply ducked seeing as they were all going at the same height and turned around and pulled them out of the couch and slid them into his boots "guess you're scared!" kain said mocking him then retrieved his book.

"Tired..." Lore yawned. "Bothering a old fat guy is boring me... I'm going to bed." Lore began walking upstairs.

~whatever~ kain thought still fuming about the whole thing kain went up and decided to go to sleep he was getting sleepy.

Surmantis turned
and raised his eyebrow at Marry.
"You know, every time you throw that fan you lose it and then I kill you."

" Your so rude.. " Marry said smirking.

The fan came back to her and was so close to hiting surmantis in the head it choped off a little of his hair.

Norzak watched by the inn ready to step in but decided to stay out of it for the momment.

Surmantis pulled out a dagger and threw it at her head, just to be in the spirit of things, then whipped out his rapier.

The fans blades grew even longer and marry put it infront of her and the dagger bounced off harmlessly.

" You back stabed me last time.. That was very rude and unfair.. But now the odds are on my side..

She smiled evily and two figures steped out behind her.

Surmantis put on a chiding tone.
"You tried to backstab me, it was only fair I get a chance as well."

As the three closed in around him, he prepared himself to die.

This time there wouldn't be any help.

Norzak steped in looking anoyed.

" Marry dont you think you should just stop? I bet the eight of us could kill zasori in her present condiction and we could be the rulers.

Marry looked anoyed.

" James.. can you kill this stupid dog..?

A man in black robes with red hair and red eyes steped out.

" Fine.. i always gotta do the dirty work.. james mumbled.

Marry waved her fan about as she thought if she wanted to make surmantis suffer first.

Zaku saw surmantis outside the window and omost instantly ran outside and shot a ice aarow at marry.

The other figure put his scythe infront of the aarow deflecting it. The figure had white hair white skin and purple eyes. He also had black robes.

The Witch decided to help.
Surmantis was expendable and was getting far too dangerous.

With a few symbols made with her hands, and a few whispered words, a strange portal of green light appeared.

The Witch sent another black-robed figure through it.
Perhaps they would notice it was not one of them, perhaps not.

The man with the scythe took the cut in the throat and blood was pouring out eveywhere. He just smiled and raise the scythe to cut off surmantises head.

Marry sighed. " Is that you sarah..?

She said to the knew figure.

James moved his hand and it lunged out on a wire and grabed narzaks neck.

Zaku ran closer and fired two more aarows at the man with the scythe.

The figure took the two aarows in the back and didnt even notice it.

Surmantis wisely ducked the scythe this time, then stabbed at the man.

The new robed figure nodded at Marry, but did not speak then pulled out two black-bladed daggers.

" Bout time you did something.. You always waste so much time sarah.. Marry nagged.

The man with the scythe let the dagger hit him and kicked surmantis back a few feet and chanted as symbo appeared under 'surmantis. It looked like a sideways triangle in a circle.

Norzak moved his hand and there was a clang like something hit and james let go of narzaks neck.

Zaku sent some water arond surmantis and tryed blessing it.

The black robed figure jumped past the one with the scythe and stabbed at Surmantis with both daggers.

Surmantis blocked the two blows, one with his rapier, one with his foot, then slashed at the figure.

The hood fell open, slashed apart, and revealed an armor-clad being, wearing a visor.

Behind the visor was a creature spawned from the one place more dreadful than Hell, and a place that very few other than the Witch knew about.

" YOUR NOT SARAH! Marry shouted both shocked and anoyed.

Sarah was up in her room looking out the window laughing slightly.

The water surronding surmantis froze into a sword.

Zaku made a few hand motions and shut his eyes as he blessed the water that the sword was made out of.

The man with the scythe healed his wounds and looked normal again. The aarows in his back falling off and he slashed at the new figure.

" Yeah kill him! Marry yelled. " Surmantis is our target and if we dont kill him we will have failed for the first time in 800 years!

The Witch cursed.
It was a very ugly-sounding curse.
"Don't they understand that I'm trying to HELP them, the idiots?"

The armored figure turned and shook its head at them.
It could not speak, as it had no mouth.

Surmantis took advantage of it turning, and kicked it in the back, whereupon it fell with a crash.

The man with the scyth looked confused then anoyed.

" Hmph ignore it for now.. If it kills surmantis we can just lie..

Marry looked anoyed. " Zasori would know she always knows!

James smiled he was a few feet away. " She might not care..

The man with the scythe ignored them and took out the skull he had earlyer smileing.

Marry looked even more anoyed. " You idoit dont do that! we need his head and if you do that it will be a mess!

The man sighed and put it away.

Narzak took advantage of james being distracted and punched him to the ground.

Zaku jumped by surmantis and slamed the metal figure in the face with the holy rod.

The figure made a screech as the rod hit him, which meant he was in a great amount of pain since he didn't even have a mouth.

The Witch was in a fury.
Her curses were echoing all around the room where she was peering into the cauldron.

Surmantis pulled his second dagger and threw it at Marry.
"Catch, sweetie."

Lore yawned and walked back down stairs, he went and sat on the couch and began reading the book that he always kept with him.

The dagger hit marry in the chest and she screamed in pain.

" You stupid old man!!! ERRGH! You always hit me when im off guard!!! Marry yelled still in pain.

James laughed. " Then i suggest you shut up and fight..

Marry was so upset she riped the dagger out of her chest and looked like nothing happend and threw the fan at surmantis.

Narzak made a hand motion and the fan went sideways and stuck to a tree with a hole in it like something hit it.

Zaku threw down all his vials and went in a defenseive stance waiting for the next attack.
