Zaku listened in on a few things but didnt say anything.

Narzak was sillent the entire time. He was worryed about sarah and was thinking of what he should do.

Lore nodded his head. "Thanks, I'd be careful about talking to her though." Lore said as Lily wiped her face unknowing of what Lore was talking about.

krad turned mini dragon, which was just like kren, but green, and zoomed into the fire for some warmth, causing a burst of flames to lick out of it, but not scorch anyone, just enough to be noticed

"so lily, lets talk, what seems to be the matter, you can tell me anything child, anything" said kren in a very soothing tone

Kain saw a large burst of fire ~Huh?~ he thought and walked over he saw a little dragon in there ~strange~ he thought.

krad opend his eyes, which shone yellow in the fire, and said "can i help you mr. curious?"

Lily sniffled and wiped her face with a tissue. "It's nothing... I just told somebody I like then and they didn't..." Lily let her head drop on the bar and didn't say anything else.

Zaku rolled his eyes. It seemed like lily was a victom or something.. Sure he might of anoyed her a little.. A bloody body isnt the best thing to wake up to.. But he couldnt help it.

Zaku watched the dragonlike creature that was talking to the man with the axe.

Keith was sitting in the corner of the bar watching and listening to everthing, his fang like teeth showing as he ordereda cup of tea. Keith slowly sipped the hot teaand listened.

"ahh, i see, well thats just life dearie, some people like each other and some don't, there are many more out there, and you shouldn't fix your heart on one, i had the same problem, broke my heart when he moved away, last things he said were "I hope the vampires find you" and they did."

Zaku looked anoyed and went over toward lily and kren.

" Its not like i dont like her its just it wouldnt work out.. And why do you seem to care so much all a sudden?? I dont understand you at all.

Lily let out a odd laugh. "I've cared the whole time... I can't keep up the 'I don't care about anything' personality forever... I break down eventually because it just keeps gnawing at me..." Lily said and let her head hit the bar again.

"I warn you, do not talk to me like that, i am more than one thousand years old and should be respected, i care because i am a mother at heart, after taking care of hundereds of hatchlings!" kren replied venomously "as for her, i understand, it wouldn't work out, im just trying to help her move on"

" Fine sheeesh... eveyone is so touchy.. Dont you think i get insulted? Nah you wouldnt because ima demon.

He looked a little sad.

" Lily i dont know how to make you understand and it be alright.. But i know i know if i did agree to be your boyfriend later on you would most likely be alot more unhappy then you are right now..

"Touchy? I'm sorry if i sounded snappish, I am just not happy with impoliteness to me. Im sorry children" she said "If only Maya were here, she is an angel in my eyes, you would all have a grand time together"

Surmantis coughed politely and walked out the door.

Just wondering why you would be in a fireplace," kain said to the dragon in there "Seems kind of wierd why not jsut warm up with your own fire?" he asked

"because i might burn this old dump down" said krad, who then jumped out of the fire and morphed back to human and stood, then he walked to the bar and ordered some fire tea,

Kain sighed ~Just breathe fire on your freaking paw!~ he yelled in his head and started shifting into a little mouse and after a minute scampered over to the bar and hid under the stools.

kren looked down suddenly, she saw a little mouse, my she was feeling hungry, so she hopped down, licking her lips and walked over to it

~FLIP!~ kain thought ~I am NOT on the menu!~ he yelled in his head and ran toward her jumped on the dragons head and hid behind her ear.

"gah! preys attacking! ahhh!" yelled kren, who ran around the inn and straight towards the fireplace

Krad looked up at her from a seat next to her, and asked "whats wrong Lilly?"

Surmantis walked into the woods alone.

The imp wondered how many books this one had.

Lily looked up at him. "H-how do you know my name?" Lily asked trying to clear her face, but she wasn't doing a good job of it.

Maya, cold, wet, and roughed up from a long travel, walked down the path, her cat Aztec right behind her, she heard rustling in the bushes, and constantly saw darting shadows, she kept her hand on Windblade.
"Hmm, Witching hour inn, i guess i'll check it out"

she walked to the front, and called out "hello?"

"I heard it mentioned.." said krad, not hearing his sister call out

Zaku sighed. " Common in...

Lore turned around and saw the new person. "Hello. The rooms are free so go ahead and grab a key." Lore said gesturing to the wall full of keys behind the counter.

Lily stopped sniffling. "W-what's your name?" She asked.

Maya came in, grateful she put down her bags, and went to sit in a chair next to the fire "thank you, and who are you? i might ask?" she asked charmingly, not noticing krad, nor he her

"I'm krad, can you answer my question please?" he asked,

Maya, still not noticing krad, got a key and walked to her room and relaxed for a while

Surmantis pulled his blade out of the dead creature.
It had long fur and longer claws.

Surmantis walked back towards the Inn as the imp fled in terror.

Zaku assumed she wasnt talking to him and went outside to see surmantis comeing back and went to him with a bored look.

" So what was so funny?

Surmantis laughed again.
"Lore attacked you for telling his sister no."

"I'm fine now..." Lily said sighing and laying her head down on the bar. "I'm over it..."

Maya came back downstairs perfectly refreshed and happy, she looked like a gem now, so she sat down in a chair and repeated her question

"ok" said krad, but he stayed next to her "are you a dragonkin?"

" If things had gotten outa hand i could of handled it.. But i sure do seem to draw alot of attention and if people are not kicking me then they are trying to rescue me.

He kicked a nearby rock.

" I dont really get those dragonkin people at all..

"you dont do you?" said maya, who had appeared right behind him, and put a hand on his shoulder, with a smile

Lily looked at him and brushed some hair from her face. "Yes I'm a dragon-kin... how do you know these things?" She asked.

Zaku jumped up a second since he made sure no one was following him but relaxed again quickly.

" No.. i dont.. cept maby they are anoying.. I can understand while the more stupid or evil of my kin just want to take a axe to some of these people..

Surmantis began to clean off the bloody blade.
"They're almot multiple personalitied."

"I just wondered, and as for knowing about dragon kin? i am one!" he said, growing his wings out

Maya then felt hurt. "I was just trying to be freindly." she said, and went back to the inn

Zaku looked confused.

" Was she a dragonkin?

Lily smiled slightly and a pink scaley tail emerged from under her cloak a swung gently. "That's nice." She said.

Lore was busy watching a snail slid across the floor in front of his bar stool.

Krad then looked and saw a very familiar figure, it was MAYA! he ran full force at her and grabbed her at the wwaist hard! "MAYA! its you!Where have you been? I love you!"

"KRAD! I thought id never see you again! I love you too you little draglet!" She hugged him back

Surmantis nodded.
"Do you think any more of those people after me are around?"

Kain hung on as she rocked about and nibbled on her ear near the base trying to make it hurt so she would stop and he could get off it might not work though...

kren stopped and loked around, there was maya and krad! she ran full force that way and jumped onto maya joining the embrace

" I dont know.. The darker ones seem to prefer night but.. Maby.. i sense something nearby.. One second i gotta talk to maya..

Zaku threw one vial down and it became a mirror and he steped out the other mirror in the inn and went to maya.

" Can i talk to you privately?

Zaku really didnt want to start acting like he did something wrong infront of lore again.

"Nows not the good time, im in a familiy reunion can you see?"

Lily's tail drooped and dissapeared, she closed her eyes and some of her hair fell in her face.

Lore yawned.

"She stopped then said "ok, one second kren, krad, i must talk to him" she said "where do you want to talk?"

Kain bit down hard on the dragons ear and shook his head tearing off a little chunk of her ear.

she yelped and went full size, growling, she roared "GET OFF!"

Lore fell off his bar stool when she roared and Lily yelped in suprise. "Whoa what who?!?" Lore asked scrambling back up still suprised.

Kain started scurrying down her spikes scratching her with his feet and when he reached the tail he panicked it was too high to jump off of! so kain climbed back up to her head and tried to think on how to get off.

~ Yeah.. shes a dragonkin...

" Sorry i didnt notice.. Just in the great hall for a few minutes. He opened a door.

" Hi sweetie! Marry yelled as a fan flew past surmantises head.

"GET THIS MOUSE OFF OF ME!" she roared again

Maya followed him

Kain saw something he didn't notice before near the legs some scales almost like stairs he scamepered down and climbed dow the leg shook and he almost fell he continued going down and rested on the knee

Kren looked down "Get off before I change my mind about a snack"

After they were in and lore wasnt there to glare at him he sighed.

" I didnt know you were a dragonkin so im sorry if i hurt your fealings. And be carefull at night.. Me and my friend have these freaks after us right now.. Two we already managed to take down.

"I see, and that CAN'T be all you wanted to talk to me about, is it? no of course not." She grinned, "and your forgiven"

Kain looked up and quickly scampered off the leg and scurried under the table where no one could reach him.

Kren calmed down and went to sleep. krad then went back over to Lily, "hi"

Kain lay underneath the table ~Not doing THAT again~ he thought gasping for breath ~never going mouse again almost got eaten!~ kain then had to get to his room and change back but how?

Lore shook himself and stood up. "Whoa... what was that about?" He asked Lily who was blinking blankly. "I don't know..."

"Oh... umm hi... again." Lily said.

Zaku looked a little confused then worryed.

~ Does she want me to be her boyfriend to...?

" Err and why is lily so hard to understand and i mean one day she hates you the other shes so upset that you arnt going to be her boyfriend that.. Well she hates you..

He had a anoyed look.

Kain walked over to lores shoe and climbed onto the back and stood on the little bit where it stuck out so lore wouldn't feel him ~Go UP!~ he thought hoping lore would go up the stairs.

Sarah came downstairs and looked out the window.

" Oh marry marry marry.. What am i to do with you...

Norzak keeped a eye on her but didnt do anything.

Lore sat back down and yawned. "I might go to bed soon." Lore said to himself.

Sarah thought she might have some fun.

" Hey wanna hear a song..? She asked lore as she took out her flute.

~yes!~ kain thought ~then I can change back and pretend this never happened..~ kain said and shifted his weight around and his eyes fell on the book unguarded ~crud!~ he thought anyone could steal it and it wasn't locked!

" Ooohh whats this..?

Sarah picked up the book.

"Um okay..." Lore said leaning back. "Name's Lore." He added not knowing if she knew.

" Ahh thats a lovely name..

She put the book down on another table.

" Okay now im gonna try a new song.. Tell me if you like it.. She said smileing evily.

The tune sounded wrather dark it would be soft then very high.

Sarah moved her head to the right and so did lores.

Lore smiled slightly. "I do rather like it... it sounds nice." Lore said and closed his eyes and continued to listen.

Sarah slightly change the tune.

~ Now he should be under my control.. Lets see... Reach for that book.. on the table..

She watched as she played hopeing it would work********'k" Lore and grabbed the book and went back to listening to the tune. "Need it?"

She stoped playing.

" Mmm... No not really.. But i think ill look at it anyway..

She had a evil grin as she took the book and went back upstairs.

Kain jumped off lores show and quickly ran into his room he hid under his bed hoping lore didn't notice, kain gasped for breath mice sure did run a lot...

Lore tilted his head. "That was weird..." Lore said then leaned back and closed his eyes. "She was nice..." He said to himself.

Narzak fliped a coin and started laughing.

" Dont trust her mate

Kain changed into himself and ate some dried meat good he wasn't gasping for air then he went downstairs andd sat down on a couch.

Lore lifted his head up. "Why... is it because she can control me with, like, that flute or something." Lore joked and leaned back again.

Kain's heart was still racing he looked at the table his book was gone again! "I'm gonna kill that Imp," he muttered
