"You're all looking for me, are you not?" Kerr's voice giggled, echoing in the cave.

"Well I'll tell you where I am. I'm in the wild in my fortress right now. Wondering why I am telling you this? Because in a short time, all of you will be dead. Wonder how I know that? Because I will be watching you die from this crystal ball!"

A loud clang was heard that echoed through the cavern. And when Teegan looked at the tunnel they had come from, all she saw was a smooth cave wall.

"Now you're trapped!" the mocking voice announced, as though it were a magic show.

"If you're planning to watch us die then you're going to get bored watching us starve," Sukrae pointed out.

"Oh, don't worry, you won't starve," Kerr said. "Something quicker and more fun to watch is what I have in mind."

The tramping of many feet was heard, and then goblins began to fling themselves from the small caves around the walls.

Goblins with swords, goblins with daggers, even goblins with warhammers! Sukrae yelled in rage and a black ball of shadow zoomed from his hand and smashed the crystal ball.
