Hiya!
I logged on in Edgeville, where I started gathering gear. I had about 65 more Black Demons to go, and they weren't going to kill themselves! I actually remembered to bring a Dusty Key first try this time (fancy that!) and after another brutal reminder to get 80 Agility, I arrived at the Black Demons. A player was there with a Multi-Cannon, so I shrunk back to a far corner where I could have two demons to myself. A while later, I noticed that the player with the Multi-Cannon was gone! I ran into the open area and started freely slaying.
A few minutes after, a player ran in and started slaying. "lol botter" he said. Who was he talking to? I didn't see any botter. I asked him, and he replied with a snotty "U". How was I a botter? Well, apparently simply wearing a Mining Skillcape automatically designates you as a botter. I was quite offended by this! I told him how I had spent years trying to get 99 Mining... I even offered him to ask Mining Golds. After he declined this offer, I told him to read this thread. There's no reason why a botter would write entry after entry chronicling his unfair advantage, right? He declined this offer too, and was certain that I had botted my way to 99 Mining. I put him on my Ignore List and paid him no attention after.
Right after this altercation, I got my second Ancient Effigy! And right after that, I achieved level 82 Strength! I was slaying with my Korasi; It worked quite well. I slayed in peace, with no more false accusations. After I finally finished the task, I offered my Prayer Potion to the other players. No one wanted them, so I teleported out. Time to get that Ancient Effigy to the Gorged state!
First up was 91 Herblore. I asked in my clan chat, and soon, MyGfIsDumb met me at Lumbridge, where he assisted me to the next stage. This one required level 93 Construction.

He didn't have it, and so after asking around to multiple players, it seemed that W117 Daemonheim was my only option. I headed down into the Lumbridge cellar and grabbed a Ring of Kinship. I brought my Fletching Skillcape too; Simply wearing it would most likely attract players who needed an assist. I teleported over, and hopped worlds.
Just as I suspected, I received an Assistance Request almost right away. I assisted him, and got my 30,000xp! Back on with the Mining Skillcape. I looked around for a player offering 93 Construction. Not a single player. So I waited and waited, and miraculously, a player did finally come who offered 93 Construction! I got to him first (there were lots of players there who needed the assist) and I opened my Effigy to the third stage. This one required level 95 Fletching. No problem! After reaching the Gorged stage, I stashed the effigy away in my bank. I've got eight in there now!
With that done, I travelled to Kuradal and got my next task: 177 Blue Dragons. I got my equipment ready and headed in. From the beginning of the task, I could tell I had misjudged how many Super Attacks and Strengths I would need. I had only gone through three Prayer Potions by the time I had finished off all my Super Potions! Luckily, a Hard Clue Scroll gave me reason enough to leave!
After ending the Treasure Trail in the Wilderness, I claimed my reward: A Pirate's Hat! These had increased in price since I had gotten the last one, and they were now worth 120k! I sold it and returned to the Blue Dragons, this time with a better balance of potions. Unfortunately, I had misjudged how many Antifire Potions I might need... But again, I was saved my another Hard Clue Scroll!
After completing the Treasure Trail, I claimed my reward. Nothing too amazing... The highlight was a Rune Plateskirt (h5). Back to Blue Dragons! This time, I had the balance just right.

Many, many kills later, I got a third Clue Scroll. I headed out and opened my third casket today. Nothing good here... The useless junk amassed to just 47k. So I returned to the Blue Dragons yet again. With seven kills to go, I got my fourth Hard Clue Scroll! Not wanting to have to return again, I finished off the task, gaining level 81 Slayer in the process!
A few players in the Mining Golds Citadel were gathering resources that we didn't need... And with our enormous goals, that is completely unacceptable. I decided to go over to the citadel personally to try and sort it all out. As I exited Kuradal's Cave, I got a new task: 179 Hellhounds. Man, I seem to get Hellhound tasks all the time! Duradel seemed to have an obsession with dragons, while his daughter seems to be obsessed with dogs...
I headed into the Citadel and was happy to see that the players had decided to gather different resources. So I banked and returned to Kuradal's Dungeon, where I killed a few Hellhounds before logging off.
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

I logged on today in Kuradal's Dungeon, right by the Hellhounds. ExtremeGame happened to be online for the first time in a long time! I chatted with him while I did my task. Unfortunately, I didn't get clue scrolls! A little disappointed, I left the cave and got a new task: 189 Gargoyles.
Hm, Gargoyles were made of stone... and stone is weak to crush, right? I switched my Korasi plus Dragonfire Shield combo out for my Saradomin Sword and headed into the dungeon. On my very first Gargoyle kill of the task, I got a Hard Clue Scroll! Things were looking up! I ventured out into the light and completed the Treasure Trail. Nothing amazing... Just the usual Clue Scroll junk. I still had this insatiable urge to give something away to a player for Christmas! On the previously mentioned thread, a player by the name of "Legendary138" wanted a Berserker Ring. I decided I would try and collaborate with some friends and get him that gift!
I spent a long time getting together donations. The first came from Tankerchief, who donated 300k. Then Pachocus donated about 500k, and Mah Bum and Divine Fury donated 300k each. Joshyway was the biggest donor, donating 1.3m! Thorran also donated 300k! I was expecting to have to pay at least 300k, but from all the donations, I was able to buy the Berserker Ring! Now I had to wait for him to log on...
I headed back to the Gargoyles, and Joshyway happened to be there! This time, I wasn't using crush. For some reason, crush just didn't seem to work well. So I started slaying the Gargoyles with Joshyway. I don't particularly like training Strength... And it's for a really odd reason.

The reason I got such a high Attack and Defence is because I love the attack animation of the Abyssal Whip. That simple little flick just seems so satisfying... And when I can't attack with weapon that has that same animation, that satisfaction just isn't there. But I'm sure that in time, I will get used to the slashing motion of the Saradomin Sword. A while later, Joshyway died! I blessed his grave and he came back in no time.
After receiving my first Granite Maul, I was all out of food. I went to bank, and on the way, Gerk Minion (lilmk), asked me to take him on a Farming run. He hadn't done a tree run before, so I agreed. I guided him to all the best locations, from Catherby to Falador, to Lumbridge to Brimhaven. After I had guided him to all the tree locations, Death 2u7 PMed me. He had my Whip Vine! I couldn't wait. I met him at the Grand Exchange, where he traded me a brand new Whip Vine! I attached it to my Abyssal Whip. Boy, did I look cool!
I returned to the Gargoyles, and got a second Granite Maul! A while later, I got another Clue Scroll! The reward was alright: 79 Zamorak Arrows. I returned to the Gargoyles yet again, and finally managed to finish the task. I got a new task now: 108 TzHaars. I didn't want to take the TzTok-Jad task though; I'm just not up for that.
So I teleported to the TzHaar City, where I started the task. There was only one bot there; I can handle that! The task went by very quickly, and I ended up with an Obsidian Cape, 5 Onyx Bolt Tips and 83 Strength! I returned to Kuradal and got my next assignment: 197 Nchryaels. Hm... I'd never had these before!
Before I left, I met with Festus Krex at the Grand Exchange and chatted with him for a while. Then, as I was about to leave, a clanmate exclaimed that players were selling Dragon Claws for 4.5m at the Grand Exchange! I turned right around and headed back! I was quite disappointed to see "Selling claws 4500k 2 trades". Scams...

Good night!

I logged on, eager for the Christmas event! As you might know, Holiday events are one of my favourite parts of Runescape! That and Clue Scrolls. I love my Clue Scrolls...
I was in Edgeville, so I geared up, ready for my Nechryael task. I planned on completing the Christmas event after my task. I used the Fairy Rings and made my way to the Slayer Tower. I had never been on the third floor... I wonder what it looked like! I ran past the Aberrant Spectres and ran up the stairs. The third floor was... boring. There were no monsters! I ran further in, dodging a few Gargoyles. In the next room, I found the Nechryaels! They looked as if they'd attack with magic, but nevertheless, they seemed to hit with melee. Those Death Spawns were annoying-- They constantly spawned, and they would follow me everywhere!
I had planned on bringing a few Infernal Urns, but because I had forgotten them, I resorted to spreading each and every ash. It wasn't all that bad, and I'm sure that I would get more Prayer experience doing it this way than I would if I had brought my urns! After a couple minutes though, I got a message that Runescape was going to update! I slayed for a while until the timer came close 0:00, at which time the game froze.
After refreshing my screen repeatedly, I finally logged on! I resumed killing the ghouls, but after only a few minutes, I received a second warning that Runescape was going to update! I did the same as before, and when the timer hit 0:00, I began refreshing the screen. After a while, I managed to log on again! But after a minute, I received this message:
"Runescape will update in approximately 15 minutes (sorry)."
Another update! We all waited this one out, and when we came back, everyone in Mining Golds was hesitant to try and do anything!

After it seemed that there would be no more updates, I returned to killing the Nechryaels. I was starting to like this task! I was nearly out of food when I got a Hard Clue Scroll! Time to go!
I ventured out on my adventure, and when I finished the Treasure Trail, I opened my casket to find typical Clue Scroll junk. Better luck next time! I decided that I would do the Christmas event now, instead of waiting until I was done my task. I couldn't wait! I teleported to Draynor Village, and ran to the Wizard's Tower. After Festus Krex wished me good luck, I entered the portal. First task was to do the Snow Emitter. I had been listening to horror stories of this all day, and I was a little nervous. Now it was my turn! I listened to the instructions, and was still thoroughly confused on what to do. As I tested things out though, I soon began to realize how it all worked.
After ten minutes of thinking and planning, I finally solved the Snow Emitter! The rest of the tasks were easy; catching decorations, collecting dragon eyes-- you know, everyday chores.
Finally, after quite a while, I finished the event! I made sure to pick up a snowball on the way out too, as well as Sparkles, the tinsel snake. The Snowman attack game was kind of fun, but because there was no reward, I left for my task. I accidently clicked on someone while wielding the wand, and soon there was an all-out dessert brawl! Pastries were flying everywhere, and I was lucky to get out without a cake smeared all over my Octopus!
I banked in Draynor and teleported to Edgeville. Before I left for Canifis though, I had to see the Grand Exchange. Apparently, it was all festive! I ran in there, and I loved what I saw. Snow covered the ground, and a Christmas Tree welcomed in players. Although it wasn't snowing (That would have been great!), everything had a white-blue tinge to it, creating the illusion of frost. I loved it!

I really wish that Jagex would consider adding in random rain spawns. Wouldn't it be cool if you were on a Farming run, and all of a sudden a storm rolled in? That would be really neat!
Anyways, I headed out on my task soon after. I stayed there for quite a while, until with 37 kills to go, I got a second Hard Clue Scroll! I left on my adventure! Three steps in, I was in Sophanem, dancing in front of a cat door, when a player with a Santa Hat ran by! He was doing the same clue scroll step as I, and I commented on his festive hat. He seemed genuinely surprised that a player spoke, so I talked with him for a bit. Unfortunately he had forgotten to bring a Ring of Life for the clue, so I lent him mine until he was done. He traded it back to me, and wished me luck as he teleported away.
A few steps later, I finished my clue! The highlight of this one was 73 Guthix Arrows. I teleported over to the Grand Exchange and sold my wares. Legendary138 hadn't logged in still... I'll get him though!

Hiya!
I logged on today at the Grand Exchange. Time to go finish off that Nechryael task! I gathered my items and teleported away with the Fairy Rings. I didn't have too many Nechryaels left, so it wasn't too long before I had finished the task. Off to Kuradal!
In the Ancient Caverns, I got a new task: 189 Waterfiends. I hadn't had them for a while! I knew this task was known for the immense amount of Crimson Charms, so I was excited to start! Although very unlike me, I brought a Super Set with me. I began the task. Last time I was here, I had Black Dragonhide and an Untrimmed Fletching Cape... Now, I had Karil's, with a Trimmed Mining Cape! The task was actually kind of fun. I wasn't getting hit nearly as often as I used to be, and I was managing to kill the Waterfiends very quickly. There was only one other player there, and he didn't talk much, so I got a good chance to chat with my clan.
After a while, I had to bank. When I came back, the other player was gone, and a new one had arrived. He was a lower level than me, and we chatted about Slayer. Right when he got a Clue Scroll as a drop, I received an Ancient Effigy! Yahoo! After celebrating a bit, I continued to slay the Waterfiends. I was getting tons of Crimson Charms! With about 50 Waterfiends to go, I banked at Zanaris. Time to open that Effigy! Or get it to Gorged state, at least. The first stage required level 91 Mining; I opened it. The next one was level 93 Farming. Luckily, a clanmate was willing to assist me! I met "str1135" at the top of the Lumbridge Castle, at the bank for the assist.
Next up was 95 Construction... No one in my clan was able to assist me, so I headed off to World 117 Daemonheim, with my Fletching Cape. Only thirty seconds after had put it on, I got an assist request!

In less than ten seconds, I had received 30,000 Fletching experience! I quickly swapped the Fletching Cape out for my beloved Mining Cape. I looked around for someone offering 95+ Construction. Not a single player was offering it, but an increasing amount of players were asking for it... If I saw someone offering it, I'd have to be fast. I searched for a while, ignoring the player asking for 200k for an assist.
All of a sudden, I saw one! I saw a player offering level 95 Construction! I ran there as fast as I could, and requested an assist, praying that I would get there first. A crowd had already gathered about him, and I saw him turn... To me! I got the assist! I opened my effigy to the Gorged state! Now I have nine Gorged Effigies!
I returned to the Waterfiends. The other player wasn't there (I hadn't realized I was still on World 117). When I did realize it, I hopped worlds right as he was finishing the task. Another player was there, by the name of "Bi-Winningg". He had a Completionist's Cape! I complimented him on it, and I watched as he hit 700s on the Waterfiends with his Chaotic Maul. Quite a sight to see! I talked with him for a while; one of the few Completionist Cape owners I've spoken with. I was actually beginning to see the end of the task! I had only 20 kills to go, and I had enough supplies to do it! So after 20 kills, I finally finished my task, with a grand total of 124 Crimson Charms. Not bad!
While I was there, I asked Kuradal for a new task: 178 Gargoyles. I seemed to be getting these quite often... That's alright though, they're fun! I banked in Zanaris and ran through Kuradal's Dungeon to the Gargoyles. I attacked one, and had it all the way down to... zero lifepoints... I had forgotten my Rock Hammer! I ran back out, and was about to visit the bank for money when I realized that I had my money with me, in my Money Pouch. That saved a lot of running about!
