I really wanted to get a War Tortoise, for that extra inventory space. But for that, I wanted access to the Fairy Rings for the Piscatoris Summoning Obelisk. So, I did something I needed to do for a long time. I started Fairy Tale Part II: Cure a Queen. For this quest, I needed 57 Herblore, so I headed to the Grand Exchange to start gaining those levels (I was at 50). I started by making Prayer Potions until level 52, then I made Super Energy Potions until level 57. Now my lowest skill was Summoning, at 56!
With that done, I started and completed Fairy Tale Part 2. I got level 60 Farming now! Now lilmk and a bunch of people in my clan were telling me to simply finish off the whole series. That would make sense, considering I would have to use a Lunar Staff every time I used the Fairy Rings otherwise. So, I started and completed Fairy Tale Part 3. This whole time, some player was spamming like mad in the Mining Golds Friend's Chat. It was actually kind of fun trying to kick him and his 30+ alternate accounts as fast as possible. It spiced things up a bit.
So, I finally had access to the Fairy Rings, and I don't even have to use a Lunar Staff! I've never used a Lunar Staff with them of course, but I'd imagine it would be quite annoying.
Lion OJudah wanted to go Dungeoneering now, so I teleported to Daemonheim and waited for him. We entered the dungeon, myself keying of course. We finally reached the boss: a level 255 Lexicus Runewright. This battle was tough. He and his books were hitting me easily, and we were having some difficulty hitting him. I died about three times, once becuase I had entered the room without prayers on, and he hit me a 240, 400, and a 200 all in a row, killing me instantly.
We finished the dungeon, and I had to leave.
After I logged back on, I was still in the questy mood. Doing multiple quests tends to do that to me. I scrolled down the list of quests I was eligible to do, and found myself looking at Tears of Guthix.
