After replenishing my Prayer Points (and health) I teleported back to Falador for my next attempt. This time, I was ready! I had a ton of Prayer Potions, so I wouldn't be going down quite as easily! I ran around the dungeon once again (I need 70 Agility...) and made it back to the Black Demons. Ah... It was much better with Prayer! I used the Infernal Urns as a way to gauge my progress. Each urn I filled represented 25 kills, and each urn gave me about 1875 Prayer experience.
I had to try and conserve my Prayer Potions too, though. The demons would occasionally drop Defence potions, along with Lobsters. I used these together, as a way to keep my supply of Prayer potions running too low. A player's cannon was getting awfully annoying though... He had plced it right in the middle of the room, and it was stealing all of the kills! I asked him how long he was going to be, and he replied, wondering if I wanted him to hop worlds. That was very nice of him! In fact, it was so nice that I said it was no problem. I moved to the far back of the room, and stuck with those demons.
Near the end of the task, it was getting pretty boring. Unfortunately, with only five demons to go, I had extremely low lifepointsa nd no prayer potions or points. I really didn't want to leave with five kills left... Luckily, Joshyway saved the day! He ran in with plenty of Monkfish and Prayer Potions! I gave him all the rune items I had recieved as a drop as a thank-you. In no time at all, my task was done! Just in time too; my 99 Mining party was about to begin!
I Home Teleported out, and ran to the bank. There, I withdrew my Dragon and Rune Pickaxe, along with my Dramen Staff and the classic Octopus. I shed the bandos, but kept it in my inventory. I wanted to see what it would look like with a Mining Skillcape! I had just ran past the Lumbridge Graveyard when I realized I had forgotten my 99,000gp!

I circled back to the castle, and grabbed my 99,000gp, along with my Fletching Cape. I couldn't miss out on the opportunity to watch my first skillcape get trimmed! With time ticking down, I sprinted to the Lumbridge Swamp, where I met Joshyway. From there, we hopped over to W43.
No one was there just yet. Friends from my Friends Chat soon arrived though, along with many from my Friends List. I let everyone know where and when it was happening in my Clan Chat, and we waited. All of a sudden, a huge wave of clanmates poured in! It was a sight to see! The poor level 5 player mining there must have been wondering what was happening!
I watched as more and more players ran into the tiny mining place. Wow, I hadn't expected this many! I told everyone to get their messages ready, and as I was about to click on a rock, a jokester started mining them all! I ran to one a few squares away, and mined the final rock, a Copper rock. The fireworks flew, and the screen (and clan chat) was immediately filled with congratulatory messages, ranging from "Gratz Grimy!@!@!@!!" to "@#$@#@#!@#@$#@#%#@$@".
I looked at my Fletching cape as the 99 fireworks flew into the air. It was trimmed! The golden ribbons looked beautiful! We started marching to Falador then. It was a long journey, and because I hadn't actually walked there for so long, I was a little afraid I was going to get lost! We made it though, and by the time we reached it, only nine or so players were behind me. Until I saw the Mining Guild! Everyone else was there, waiting for us! I yelled out to hop to world 88, and players quickly vanished.
I appeared on World 88, and Cvass traded me a few kegs of beer. I drank one, and the screen started shaking drunkenly. I guess that's what parties are all about in Runescape!
I spoke with the Head Dwarf then, and remembered a time a long, long time ago.

It was a time when I had first reached level 60 Mining. I had spoken with that dwarf then, thinking that I would never ever reach level 99. But here I was, 99k in hand, and a whole party of followers behind me. I purhased my very own Mining Skillcape, and wore it with pride! More messages flew up, and I performed the emote for the first time.
I hadn't really planned anything after this moment, so I wasn't really sure what to do! I decided that it could be fun to invade the Dwarven Mines. We all climbed down the ladder and ran through an empty Mining Guild. Where was everyone? The entire cave was empty! We instead starting heading over to the Living Rock Caverns. Once we arrived there, I started walking south, with my party. We danced at the south-east rock, where all the miners were currently situated. I thanked everyone very much for coming, and the attendees congratulated me one more time before leaving.
That party was awesome. It will forever be my most treasured moment in my Runescape career. I was very disappointed back when I had reached level 99 Fletching. Only two players had seen my achieve that. But this... This was more than I could have asked for. So thank you very, very much for giving me what I really wanted!
If you didn't come due to other business, you can still watch it if you want! April Fool was kind enough to video tape the entire thing and post it on Youtube! You can simply search "Grimwold2" on Youtube and you should find it easily!

I'd like to note a strange phenomenon I've stumbled across. It seems that every time I achieve something that I've been working towards for so long, everyone compliments me on it! Even random strangers!

You see, when I finally achieved my dream of wearing full Bandos, I recieved lots of compliments from random players on it! Players were saying that I looked cool, how did I make so much money, and all sorts of nice things. Now, when I finally had my Mining Skillcape (it's beautiful), all throughout the day, players commented on it, saying that it looked very nice. It just made the day that more special!
With my new Mining Skillcape, it was time to go get a new task. This one didn't sound like too much fun: 145 Blue Dragons. Luckily, I could kill them in Kuradal's Dungeon! I grabbed a Spirit Terrorbird pouch and started killing the dragons. It soon became apparent that I hadn't prepared properly. I was being hit constantly! Luckily, on my fourth kill, I recieved a Hard Clue Scroll! I left right away, ecstatic that I could finally partake in my favourite part of Runescape!
Five steps and a puzzle box later, I had my reward. Nothing too great; a Black Dragonhide Body and a Rune Crossbow were the highlights. I was about to go back to the Blue Dragons, when two clanmates invited me to go Duneoneering! I needed floors 38 and 34, and those were the floors they were doing! I met up with them, and we started a Large floor 38. zamorrak66 was the keyer, and Coolbop132 and I were the clearers. Fifty minutes later, we had finished the floor! I was only 18,000xp away from level 76 Dungeoneering!
Coolbop132 logged out, but zamorrak66 and I decided to do a Medium floor 34. That went really quickly, and I managed to achieve level 76 Dungeoneering! I reset my progress and left for the Blue Dragons. This time, I brought Super Attack and Defence potions! It was going much smoother this time, but again, after three kills, I recieved another Hard Clue Scroll! I left right away as usual, and completed the Treasure Trail. With so many Puzzle Boxes, this one had better be good... Nope. Another collection of Blood Runes and Rune.

Once again, I was invited to join another Dungeoneering party! No Ugos came along for this one, and we entered a Large floor 38. I was the keyer this time, but for some reason, the host kept taking the Group Gatestone when I placed it for my own means. Fifty minutes later, we arrived at the boss: A level 699 Gravecreeper. I had never seen one of these before. We all stepped in with Protect from Ranged on, and started attacking it. As soon as it said "Burn...", we all teleported out.
Huge purple marks appeared on the floor! It didn't look to bad. But then, enormous lightning bolts raked the ground! Wow, if anybody was in there during that show, they would have been burnt to a crisp! After that spectacle, I was a little more nervous. One player kept running in there even with the purple marks, and he evetually got the kill with a Vengeance counter. The dungeon was complete! With three deaths, I managed to take 60,000xp! Only 40,000xp until level 77!
That was enough playing for me for one day though. I logged off for the night. Sunday, I will do tons of Dungeoneering!
Thanks for the great 99 Mining party everyone! It meant the world to me!
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hello!
With the final hours of Double Dungeoneering XP dwindling, I decided that I might as well start joining in on the fun. After all, I really wanted a Chaotic Rapier! You see, I've made up my mind about my next big item goal. For the longest time, all I ever wanted was full Bandos with a Dragonfire Shield. Now that I have that, I was a little lost on what to save up for. I wanted something that would take me a long time, something that would make me feel the same way that I did when I bought my Bandos. And today, I've officially decided.
I'm going to save up for an Elysian Spirit Shield. Now this lofty goal is way out of my financial bracket, but I feel that eventually, I will gather enough money to make it there. Once I get a Chaotic Rapier, I might go to the Frost Dragons and test that out. Or maybe I'll revert back to Runecrafting. The prices of Astral runes have been increasing, after all.
All of today was spent in Daemonheim! I figured that to get the most out of the double XP, I would have to work my way backwards. I had completed floor 38 yesterday, so now it was time to start looking for a party for floor 37. Gum Wrapper and Daddy MG were in a team already, and they were planning to tackle floor 40. But through sheer generosity, they decided to go with me on floor 37. Kutchek and S H R E K came along too, with S H R E K being the keyer and Kutchek being the skiller.
All throughout the dungeon, I mined Promethium Ore, and dropped it off at the base. From there, Kutchek would smith it into all kinds of armour for the rest of the team. He even smithed me a Gorgonite Platebody! Finally, we had reached the boss, another Gravecreeper. I soon learned that these things are incredibly annoying. You have to constantly teleport out of the dungeon to avoid his special attack, all the while maintaining your lifepoints.

Finally though, we defeated him! I achieved level 77 Dungeoneering! Now I could access Floor 39! Looking around Daemonheim, I noticed a player with a Blue Partyhat, along with Torva and a Max Cape. Boy, he looked cool! As it turned out, this player was actually Mod Mozza, coming to see how people were enjoying the double XP. A crowd was beginning to form though, so Pachocus and Joshyway invited me into a party to do a medium sized floor 32. I keyed this one, and eventually, we were ready for the boss: One of those evil Shadow Gazers!
I died a total of three times on that boss. Finally, through trial and error, we killed the thing! Joshyway recieved a Primal Kiteshield! We ended the dungeon, and Joshyway left. Pachocus and I decided to duo a medium sized floor 33 next. Again I keyed, and this time, the boss was a Bulwark Beast! This behemoth was much harder to kill than I had previously remembered... I died a few times on him before he finally went down. I took a bit of a break from Runescape then; All that Dungeoneering was driving me mad!
When I finally logged back on, I didn't have much time left. I soloed floor 20, and then soloed floor 29. Both floors had bosses I hated... A Night-Gazer and Har'Lak the Rift-Splitter. I had to log off then, with only 5000xp to go until level 78 Dungeoneering! Even better, I have 100,000 tokens! Halfway to that Chaotic Rapier!
Thanks for reading guys!
Good night!

Today, I was once again in the depths of Daemonheim. Now that I have reached the halfway mark for a Chaotic Rapier, some strange urge has overcome me, pulling me towards buying a Chaotic Rapier. It's funny; before, I was planning on buying a lot of smaller items first, and to save the Chaotics for later. But now, all I really want is that Chaotic Rapier.
When I arrived at Daemonheim, I saw Kutchek, an Overseer of Mining Golds. He was looking for a party, so I joined up with him. We were going to be doing floor 35! GRlFFY, Gardenchick and Deoxys1206 showed up too, and just like that, we had a party. At first, I was going to key, but after looking at my teammates' combat levels, I didn't think it was going to be worth it. The dungeon started, and Deoxys was the keyer.
Gardenchick was a fully maxed player, who had full Primal bound (really cool to see). She tended to be forced to run around to the different skill doors and unlock them. With only a few doors left, we ran into a problem. It seemed that Deoxys had ran past a key! We all split up, and began scouring the dungeon. Only a few seconds later, GRlFFY saved the day! He had found it! A few doors later, the same problem occurred... So we began the search anew.
This took a while. Eventually, Deoxys found the key nestled far in the depths of the dungeon. Finally, we could kill the boss, a Runebound Behemoth! As soon as I walked in though, I was hit with rapid hundreds! I died nearly instantaneously!
I came back, and this time, I was ready! I had to teleport out once due to no Prayer, but I didn't die after that! I finished the dungeon with 50,000xp! That brought me to level 78!

Now I had to start doing some of those pesky low-level floors... Usually, I do them on C6 Small, but today, I really didn't feel like doing that. So instead, I tested them out on C1 Small! Wow, what a difference! First of all, the experience was absolutely awful, but each floor was only about three minutes long! I soon realized though that because I had done my floors out of order, I had to redo floor 38 in order to unlock floor 39. So I did a C1 Small on floor 38... and got a Gravecreeper boss.
Killing the Gravecreeper without teleporting out of the room was really hard! I had to constantly move out of the burnt areas, and was forced to sit in corners while the special attack was in effect. Eventually though, I managed to kill it, and I unlocked floor 39!
I started back at the low-level floors now, eager to get them all out of the way. I zoomed through the floors, spending about three minutes on each one, until I came across my age-old solo nemesis... Stomp. With no Gatestones, I was constantly stuck in a corner, unable to move. It was so annoying! I must have been stuck on that boss for ten minutes! At one point, gems never even fell! Finally though, through a lucky break, I killed the dreaded thing.
I continued to fly through these floors, achieving level 86 Defence in the process! I reached floor 20, at which point I logged off. I only have about 100,000xp until I reach level 79 Dungeoneering! I'll have to go a bit over level 80 Dungeoneering to reach my Chaotic though, due to me purchasing my Ring of Vigour. I also have a bunch of tokens stored up in my Ring of Kinship to though...
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

I logged onto the main website to check and see what the update was! Every Tuesday, I love going to the main page and seeing what the new update is. But today, all I saw was a sneak peek at the uppcoming new web design. Interesting, but not at all engaging. So I went into the Recent Updates forum to check and see if there were any little updates. And what do I see up at the top of the forum?
"Dice Removed from Game". Wow, I didn't expect that one! I'm really happy about this update too. To me, this was the next biggest issue after the bots. My problem with it was that Runescape was meant for skilling or killing. A long time ago, if you saw a player with a Partyhat, you knew that that player was either a very skilled boss killer, or he had worked very hard at a certain skill. With dicing, lucky individuals could skip all that hard work and simply get the items easily. To me, that wasn't in the spirit of the game. It seems to me that Jagex is on a big clean up quest! Apparently, they will start working on Anti PJ measures, and will totally fix the combat system!
If all of these updates work the way I hope they do, I think Runescape could really be on the track to success!
Now, I've been monitoring the price of Astral Runes daily for a few weeks now, and today, I decided it would be worth it to start crafting them. They've reached the highest price they've been in a while: 187gp! So I jumped at the opportunity to start making some money. Of course, knowing me, by the time I decide to sell them, the price will have fallen...
I headed to the Grand Exchange and thought about what I would need. Well first of all, I needed more Pure Essence. I spent 900k on 12,000 Pure Essence. Then I sold all my Abyssal Parasite pouches. No more of those! I'm an Abyssal Lurker Runecrafter now!
I donned my Octopus and weight-reducing equipment and teleported to my POH in Relleka. I ran to Lokar and sailed off to the Lunar Isles.
