Hiya!
I logged on today, in anticipation of Tier 7. We must have gotten it... We must have. And so as soon as I logged on, it was the first thing I asked. We had done it! The Build Tick wasn't for another three hours, but we had all the necessary resources! I definitely had to be there for the final build tick!
In the meantime, I went back to lighting fires at the Mobilising Armies. I chatted with a fellow firemaker there, while I lit my own. He was getting close to level 99! I continued lighting the fires, and after an hour, I had achieved level 83 Firemaking! Now I could start training in the Jadinko Lair! Apparently, this was very fast experience, so I could wait to get started!
I took the Spirit Trees to the Tree Gnome Stronghold, where I climbed the Grand Tree and rode a Glider down to the southern edge of Karamja. There, I entered the Jadinko Lair. It donned on me that I actually had no idea what to do here! Thankfully, a nice player named Chuc guided me through the steps. I actually had to look for Curved Vines, and then cut them to retrieve Curved Roots. It was harder than it looked; every vine I went up to immediately straightened itself, preventing me from getting Curved Roots!
After I had a full inventory of roots, I ran to the Fire Pit and burned them. They gave a whopping 379xp per root! I could see why players stayed there! So I hung out there, chopping and burning, all the while chatting with clanmates and browsing the forums.

Ages later, after I had gained a fair amount of Firemaking experience, it was finally time to teleport out. I Home Teleported to Lumbridge, where I grabbed my Clan Vexillum. I teleported over to the Clan Camp and started partying with my clan! Soon, Mining Golds would be the first clan in Runescape's history to obtain a Tier 7 Citadel! With one minute to go, everyone inside the citadel was booted out, and the entire clan stood before me, using every emote possible and simply creating mayhem. A few seconds later, we all poured back into the Citadel. What we saw was awe-inspiring.
Everything was gold-trimmed, and more importantly, our Clan Vexillums were not only trimmed with gold; they shot up fireworks! I lounged about with some clanmates, celebrating the pay-off. We had been working hard on this for so long... Nearly a year! It was definitely worth it. Our Citadel was beautiful, a true work of art. Unfortunately, I don't think Jagex knew we were getting Tier 7...
Now, where was the Clan Dragon? We started looking around, until someone discovered that it didn't come with Tier 7... We had to make it! And boy, was it expensive. we would need over 100,000 Timber and over 500,000 Rations! I started collecting some minions while I admired the scenery. Mining Golds had certainly come a long ways since I first joined. We have gone from a clan of about 50 to a clan of 500! We have won a Jagex Mining competition to obtain our own logo, and are now the first clan to ever get a Tier 7 Citadel. I was very proud of Mining Golds. Lots of hard work had gone into this citadel, and now it was time to reap the rewards.
I exited the Citadel and teleported to the Grand Exchange. There, I planted the brand new "Trophy Vexillum" and watched as players witnessed the first Trophy Vexillum. It looked amazing; truly a sight to see.
It was time to log off though, so I said goodnight. Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hi!
I logged on today at the Grand Exchange. Time to cap at the Citadel! But... I didn't really feel like it today. I have a whole week though; I'll do it tomorrow. I was about to plant my Clan Vexillum when I noticed that a Mining Golds vexillum was already in place! It was Pachocus's! I talked with him for a while, before I moved on. I couldn't wait to get back to the Jadinko Lair. For some strange reason, I found it really fun!
So I journeyed there, and started cutting and burning the Curled Roots. The Mining Golds clan chat was abuzz with new recruits. Ever since we had obtained the Trophy Vexillum, intense waves of new recruits had been surging into Mining Golds. As I'm an Administrator, it was up to me to deal with this enormous task.
So for the next hour, I travelled from location to location, inviting players, referring them to MiningGolds (our sister clan) and chatting with them about what Mining Golds does. Eventually, I changed the Clan Vexillum to mention that Mining Golds has a 1900+ requirement. Phew... I had done so much recruitment and private messaging... I turned off the clan chat and turned my Private Chat to Friends Only. Time to relax with some Firemaking
Down in the Jadinko Lair, I started chopping the vines. A while later, when I tried to click on the Fire Pit that I had been using the entire time, I was a little confused to find out that I couldn't! My character would start to run around the other side, instead of walking to the Fire Pit. This was odd. I decided to let my character go. But after walking into the second chamber, it became apparent what had happened.

Another player there was burning the roots, and he explained to me what had happened. Apparently, the vines will overgrow a pathway, blocking the way to a Fire Pit. When this happens, the skillers are forced to train int he adjacent chamber until the vines regress. So I stayed in this second chamber until the other player came back and reported that the path was clear. This certainly added some spice to the training!
I continued on, listening to some relaxing music and burning some roots. With just about all chats off, it was very relaxing! By the end of the training, I had achieved level 84 Firemaking, and was 65,000xp away from level 85. I had gained a whopping 318,000xp today! Talk about a contrast... With Mining, I had to wait a couple seconds for a measly 65xp to fall!
That was all for today! Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hiya!
I woke up this morning, and the sun was gone! So I turned on some music to start my day. I lost myself in a familiar song... I closed my eyes and I slipped away...
If you have no idea what those two lines up there are about, fear not! Someone will That is how my day started though. Torrential rain pounded at the windows. Looked like it would be an "inside day" today.
Anyways, I logged onto Runescape in the Jadinko Lair. I had to cap today, but I couldn't resist the call of Firemaking. I've got no idea why, but I find it just so much fun! I started chopping the roots, all the while dealing with the continuous influx of players wanting to join Mining Golds. I still couldn't believe how fast the experience at the Jadinko Lair was! I was raking in about 10,000xp per inventory! Pretty soon, I achieved level 85 Firemaking! Just in time too! A player was in need of an invitation! He was at the Citadel; just as well too, as I needed to go cap.
I travelled to the Citadel and invited the player. Then, I looked at the goals. We still needed a ton of rations, but Precious Bars was the main goal. I finished up collecting my Minions, and started working on Precious Bars. Man, it was slow... I missed the comforting speed of the Woodcutting plot! Soon though, JimiHendrix came along and accompanied me with the bars. We chatted for quite a while, until the Charcoal ran out. I could return to the Woodcutting plot!
I teleported off to the Woodcutting plot, and enjoyed myself with the remarkable speed of incoming resources. I stayed there for a while, chatting with some Citadel tourists and inviting another player.

Finally, I had capped! I could go back to happily burning roots! As Gerk Minion said, I do have an odd idea of fun... It's true, actually. I have no idea why, but some skills seem to just click all of a sudden for whatever reason. That's how I play Runescape for the most part. I move from one skill to the next, and when I am in between skills, I get so bored... And that usually results in free-to-play giveaways.
I returned to the Jadinko Lair, and a few minutes later I met a player named "Backally". She smiled, and told me she was just about to hop worlds. I was the only one there, so I tried to tell her that she didn't have to hop! I was too late though; she had logged off. She came back a minute later though, asking where I had gotten my Octopus from. We chatted for a while, and fifteen minutes later, she thanked me for letting her stay. She logged off.
I continued to burn roots, literally "burning" through the experience (failed pun ). It was so fast! I noticed a slayer killing the nearby Jadinko Babies. She didn't have an Amulet of Fury, so I tried to lend her mine. She didn't respond to me though... Maybe she had Public Chat off and Trade off.
An hour or so later, I tried lending it to her again. This time, she accepted the trade, and was very happy to borrow my Amulet of Fury. After a while, I got a PM from ForeverMandy, asking why some players had left Mining Golds. So for the next hour, I talked with these players, trying to unearth what the problem was. Hopefully I'll be able to fix things up!
By the time I had logged off, I had achieved level 86 Firemaking, and had gained a total of 530,000xp in Firemaking! I wonder when my enjoyment with Firemaking will end... Who knows, it might just carry me to level 99!
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hiya!
I logged on today into the Jadinko Lair. Now I could relax with some Firemaking. I started chopping the vines, but not too long after I had started, TheHolyHades asked me to lend him my Bandos Chestplate. I Home Teleported and teleported to the Grand Exchange, where I loaned him my Bandos Chestplate for 18 hours. I chatted with him and Naruto Z for a while, trying to ignore a player trying to beg me for money. After a while, he PMed me, asking if I wanted to do some scamming. That bought him an auto-ticket to my Ignore List.
I eventually left to return to the calmer waters of Firemaking. In the Jadinko Lair, I was earning some massive experience. To my surprise, I achieved level 84 Woodcutting! And a while after that, I achieved level 87 Firemaking! The vines were really getting on my nerves. Every time I went up to one, it would lose its curve, and my trips to the Fire Pit were becoming more and more spread apart.
This was really getting annoying! Even with that problem though, the experience was incredible. I had some nice music going too; it was very relaxing. I started realizing why many player preferred the Mutated Jadinko Guard chamber over the Mutated Jadinko Baby Chamber... If you ever misclicked and attacked a baby by accident, it wouldn't stop attacking you unless you either logged out or exited the cave!
I had that happen to me today. I had a baby attacking me for quite a while, slowly chipping my health down. When I asked a slayer to kill it for me, he ignored me and killed a different one! So in the end, I resorted to exiting the cave to save myself from death.

I continued to burn roots, answering tons of PMs about invitations and general information about Mining Golds. Because of the huge amount of players wanting to join Mining Golds, we've actually had to raise the requirement to 2000+ total level! I was only one level away from that!
An hour later, I achieved level 88 Firemaking, along with one of the biggest milestones I've had to date: 2000 total level. I remember a long time ago, I considered a 2000 total level as being very high level. And now here I am. I honestly can't wait to read this blog from front to back, just like a book. I've accomplished so many things that I never thought would happen...
I trained Firemaking a bit more before logging off for the night. I had gained tons of Firemaking experience! Just today, I had gained a massive 805,873xp... Making me the 20th biggest Firemaking experience gainer in the world for today. Yep, definitely time to log out...
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hi!
Not too much happened today... I went rock climbing today though, even though I normally only go on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. I've been making some great progress, and I've been feeling really motivated!
I did do a lot of Firemaking though. Joshyway joined me, and I watched him achieve level 92 Firemaking! Soon, I achieved level 89 Firemaking! I'm still in the Firemaking mood; who knows when it will end? I personally hope it will carry me over to level 99!
I burned tons of roots, still enjoying the relaxing nature of the area. I sat back and browsed the forums, talked with clanmates and had a great time. It reminded me of Mining! That was very relaxing, and this was just like it. Not too much happened. I promoted a few players in Mining Golds and kept on burning those roots.
After a while, the chamber with the Mutated Jadinko Guards got blocked off, and I was forced to go back into the first chamber with the babies. it was there that I passed the 5,000,000 Firemaking experience milestone! It was beginning to get late though, and I had a big ugly math test tomorrow... Time to log off.
I had gained 500,000xp today! At this rate, I could have level 99 by the end of January! Speaking of the end of January, January 31st is my birthday!
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hi!
Well I had that math test today... And I am pretty sure I failed it. This is a pretty big deal for me; I've never failed a test up until now. All day, I felt sick about it, continuously thinking about it. When I got home, I immediately made sure that I understood everything about this new chapter.
When I eventually logged onto Runescape, and started Firemaking. Joshyway was there, along with Panda of MG. I burned roots, all the while trying to catch the attention of Michael Blah. He was a member of MiningGolds, and wanted to join Mining Golds. He had contacted me before, but because we were full, I told him I'd contact him back. Now that we had an opening, he was in a QuickChat only world, and I couldn't get a hold of him. I tried for ages, PMing, talking in MiningGolds clan chat... Nothing.
Finally, ages after I had PMed him, he randomly PMed me back, telling me he was going to hop worlds. Finally! I waited for him to hop worlds, and then met him in Lumbridge. Michael Blah was finally part of Mining Golds!
A while later, after I had returned to the Jadinko Lair, I decided to go rock climbing again. My muscles were still sore from yesterday, but I felt really motivated. Boy, was I happy I had gone! I had two project routes, and I completed both of them today! I won't swamp you with climbing jargon, but they were insanely difficult.
When I logged back on to Runescape, I started doing some more Firemaking. I chatted with Pombyr about rock climbing, both of our passions. All of a sudden, I achieved level 90 Firemaking! What a nice surprise! I continued to burn roots here and there, while I wrote this very sentence. That was all for today!
Thanks for reading!
Good night!
