As soon as I logged on, some people in my clan were discussing on whether or not they would go on a Penguin Hunt. I had never been on one of those before... It sounded fun!
So the hunt started off with just Keyarose and I. Keyarose knew where they would all be, so I was just the loyal sidekick. The first one that we visited was hiding in the Falador Cabbage Patch Farmhouse. We found that one within seconds. Next up was Entrana. I deposited my Dramen Staff and boarded the boat. This one was found quickly as well; it was hiding right beside the Law Altar.
Next stop: Barbarian Outpost! I had pretty much every teleporting device possible in my inventory, so I teleported over there with my Games Necklace. Where would this Penguin be... I ran around looking for it. I even went inside the Agility Course! While I was in there, Keyarose showed up. I exited the course and followed him. Another player, who had seen the penguin, guided us over to it. We thanked him, and went off to find the next one.
This one was supposed to be near the Seer's Village. ForeverMandy joined in on the hunt now as well, as with Star Psyche. Keyarose and I hunted around for a long time. It didn't seem to be anywhere near the Seer's Village. Finally, we caught word from ForeverMandy that it had actually travelled all the way up to Mountain Camp, past Relleka! I teleported to my house and ran the distance there. The next penguins to find were on the Fremennik Islands.
I waited for Keyarose to catch up, and then ran to the docks. Keyarose took a boat, but I waited with ForeverMandy, who was waiting for Jetship. Finally, Jetship arrived, and they both took off. Dang... Which one had they taken? They had left me behind! I told them that in the Clan Chat, and they said that they had gone off to Jatizso. I took the boat over there, and I followed the orange dots over to the penguin.

Next one was the Neitznot one. I took the boat over to Relleka, then to Neitznot. This one was pretty easy; it was hiding in the bank. The next area was the desert. By the time I managed to get to Pollnivneach, I had already been informed that the penguin there was in the Camel Pen. I met up with ForeverMandy there again, and we both headed off to Nardah for the last desert penguin. When we arrived there, it seemed that the entire Penguin Hunting Clan was there. There were so many people running around!
I started looking inside all the buildings, and then around the town itself. After ten minutes, word had gotten out that the penguin had escaped to The Ruins of Uzer. So finally, after making my way back to Nardah, taking a carpet to Pollnivneach, then to the Shantay Pass, then to The Ruins of Uzer, I arrived. Mostly everyone had gone, but Star Psyche was still with me. I started running around looking for it. Finally, I noticed a group of people. I ran over to them, and sure enough, there was the penguin.
Next up: Wilderness penguin. This one was easy. Everyone was told exactly where it was (Dark Knight's Fortress) and I found it quickly. Now I only had one penguin left to find! This one was supposedly in the Piscatoris Fishing Colony. I teleported to Varrock and took a Spirit Tree to the Tree Gnome Stronghold, where I began running to the colony. Halfway there though, I was told that the penguin was actually in the Sorceress's Tower! Well that's a long ways away from where I was. I teleported over to Camelot, ran to the tower, and sure enough, there it was.
I had found every penguin! I think that this was actually the first time I had actually found every single one.
So... I guess it was time for Slayer! I still had about 29 Iron Dragons left to kill. I made my way over to the Brimhaven Dungeon. This time, I was wearing Proselyte Armour to help out with my Prayer Bonus.

I started killing those Iron Dragons. Another player was there, so we chated while we killed them. He had a lot more dragons to kill than I did, so he asked if he could trade me some of his drops to for my Antifire Potions and my Prayer Potions. Deal! I finished killing the dragons, and sold them to him. He gave me two Rune Limbs and 250 Blood Runes. In total, I gained about 17k.
It was time for a new Slayer Task. I went to Duradel and got my new task: 71 Suqahs. I headed over there and started killing them. Strangely, they were much easier to kill than I remembered. After not long, I had killed all the Suqahs that I needed. Grubbs271 in my clan wanted a teleport over to Lunar Isle though. Lucky for him, I was right next to the altar! I changed spellbooks, and teleported to Varrock via a teletab. I ran to the Grand Exchange, waited for him to get ready and teleported him back to Lunar Isle. I met up with 0kiwigirl0 at the bank and got a free ride to the Lunar Altar! There, I switched spellbooks again and teleported back to Varrock.
Aw man... My Suqah task had ended when I only had 142xp to go until 71 Slayer! I spoke with Duradel again. 171 Abberant Spectres. I seems that he's stopped giving me a million dragons and started giving me a million Aberrant Spectres now... So, I started killing them. Most likely, I would get a Clue Scroll!
I was there a long time... 171 kills takes a long time to achieve, it would seem. And you know what? After all that time, I didn't get a single Clue Scroll! I did, however, get a Dragonstone.
I teleported out and banked my drops, still in disbelief that I didn't get a Clue Scroll. I had decided that I wanted to use my Penguin Points. So while I was at Ardougne to get my new task, I spoke with Chuck the Polar Bear and claimed my reward. I got level 57 Farming!
I spoke with Duradel again, and got my new task: 142 Waterfiends.

Well I still remembered my clanmates telling me to cancel that one, so I did. I got my new task... 172 Abberant Spectres. Was he kidding me? I just finished killing 171 of those things! Well there was now ay that I was going to kill another 170+ of them, so I decided I wanted to unlock the Death Altar. Femmeeeeeeee has apparently made millions off of crafting at the Death Altar, and it's better experience than crafting Astrals! So why wouldn't I do that? I needed to complete Mourning's End Part 2, but I didn't have all the quest requirements. Time to do Roving Elves. I needed to have Glarial's Amulet for the quest, and unfortunately, I had dropped it. So time to get a new one!
I thought that you had to go into the Waterfall Dungeon to get it back, so I went to the waterfall. First I tried to swim across the gap. That didn't work... I used a rope to get across. Then, I tried to clicmb down the tree to get to the dungeon. That didn't work... I used a rope to get across. Finally, I got to the entrance of the dungeon. I tried to enter it... and got swept away. Alright, where on earth do I get this crazy Amulet. Finally, I figured it out, and I finally got my amulet. Time to do Roving Elves!
It was a short quest, and I finished it fairly quickly. It was time to go though... I quickly started Mourning's End Part 1 to save time, then logged off.
That's all for today! Thanks for reading! And if you still haven't posted, post! Yes, that means YOU. Don't look behind you; I'm pointing directly at you.
Good night!

Today was all about the Mourning's End questline. So first up on the chopping block was Mourning's End Part 1. As usual, I won't spoil anything, but I will fill you in on the most frustrating part of the quest.
If you've done the quest Sheep Herder, you'll no what I'm talking about. You know those evil coloured sheep that you never want to see again? Well you've got to deal with them again in this quest. Your objective was to use this cannon-like device to shoot coloured toads at them to recolour them.
To get the toads, you had to go to the Feldip Hills with all your dye and Ogre Bellows and proceed to pump the toads full of coloured air. You needed a Green, Blue, Red and Yellow coloured toad to go with the colours of the sheep. So after that hassle, it was time to actually shoot the sheep.
This was so infuriating... Basically, when you're shooting this cannon-thing, you're actually looking through a retical. To the right of this retical are the arrow keys. You click those to move your retical about. You only have two shots per herd, so you need to make them count. My first herd was the yellow herd. I wasted my first shot because I didn't know that you had to be standing right next to the sheep to make it count. Luckily, I landed the second shot. It's really annoying; the sheep almost never stop moving.
The green herd was quite easy, as with the red herd. The blue herd was the worst. The herd was located by a river and some Moss Giants. I walked over to the river, so that my back was to the water and looked into the scope. I was looking at the river. I exited the scope and saw hat my avatar was facing the river! I turned around again, but the problem persisted.
I ran to the north, closer to the Moss Giants. I looked into the scope. Now my scope was facing the Moss Giants, which was clearly the opposite direction I had actually been looking.

Well if I kept looking north at the Moss Giants, what would happen if I went to the south, under the herd? I went over there, hoping that I would continue to look at the Moss Giants, which would also give me a view of the sheep herd. Of course, that's not what happened. Instead, my view changed to the river again. I fiddled around with this (glitch?) for a while, getting more and more frustrated as I did. Finally, after toying around for ages, I found the one spot. You had to be sort of North-East of the herd, looking at the river. That way, your scope view would look at the sheep.
With that pain done, it was time to finish the quest! Mourning's End Part 1 completed!
So with that done, it was time to start Mourning's End Part 2, a quest that is apparently one of the most painstaking and horrible ones in the entire game. So I started it.
First of all, I would like to tell you right now that Mourning's End Part 2 is probably THE most frustrating quest and most horrible one I have ever done. When people told me that it was a horrible quest to do, they weren't lying.
I'll give you a run down for what the objective of the quest was. The entire quest took place in the Temple of Light. In this temple, there are numerous pillars, which can be fitted with mirrors and crystals. Your main objective is to enter the room with the death altar, enter the death-plane, obtain a new crystal and replace the broken one elsewhere in the temple. It was getting to this altar which was the hard part.
In the temple, there were "Light Doors" which you could only pass through if a certain colour of light passed through it. The altar had three of these doors, which would only open if you had a mixture of a red light beam, a blue light beam and a green light beam. Before this altar was a final pillar, which you had to get all the light beams to converge at to shine directly at the big light door.

The whole set-up with the final pillar and Death Altar was in a secluded room; you could only access it via a staircase, which you had to descend, then pass through a cyan light door.
So the main problem here was that you didn't have all the crystals and mirros required to reflect the light and dye the beams different colours. So for the first large portion of the quest, you had to shine different beams of light all around the three floors of the temples, keeping track of where the different beams of light would continue on the next floor. You then had to aim these beams of light at the light doors to open them. In these rooms, there would be a chest, which would give you more mirrors and a crystal.
So after hours of painstaking work, I had finally aquired all of the necessary coloured crystals, fractured crystals and mirrors. Now I had to put the different crystals and mirrors in the right spot at the right angle to converge the light beams at the final pillar. So after a long time, I did it!
As I said before, the only way into the room with the final pillar and Death Altar was to go down a set of stairs then pass through a Cyan Light Door. I headed there. Okay, worst case scenario had just happened. The Cyan Door wouldn't open because for some reason, there was not a light shining at it. I had no idea how to fix this.
I reset everything and replaced all the crystals and mirrors again, making sure I didn't mess up. I went back again. Same thing. While I was wallowing in my self-pity, another player by the name of Muscle277 came by. He was doing the quest "Within the Light". He gave me some food and we talked for a while. Probably the worst part of the temple was the level 73 Shadows. They hit 100+ constantly, so you always needed Prayer Potions and food. For this reason, I had to exit the temple once or twice to restock. I even had a familiar with me!

So there I was, talking with Muscle277. He was a very nice player, and we chatted for a while. But soon, he had to leave, and I had to try and fix the problem for the third time.
The sad part was, I was using Runescape Wiki for this, and I was still messing up! So I had to resort to Tip.It. Finally, I discovered what I had been doing wrong this entire time.
On the second floor, there was a big hallway with three pillars. One was at the north end, one at the middle, and one at the end. The red beam was shining through the north pillar, and I had been reflecting the light to the south, like the guides had said. But what I didn't know was that I was supposed to reflect that light to the east at the middle pillar, not the southern pillar. That tiny little problem was what was causing me all this grief.
So finally, I managed to get the red beam to shine directly at the cyan door. I passed through it, directed the red beam at the final pillar, and the rest is history.
This entire quest took me about five hours to complete. That's five hours of directing mirrors, five hours of obtaining crystals. Definitely an experience I never want to repeat. So I think I'll agree with all the other questers.
Mourning's End Part 2 was the worst quest I've ever had to complete.
But on the bright side, now I can craft Death Runes!
That was all I could take; I logged off for the day.
I hope you liked reading about my misery! Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hey everyone!
Today, I started crafting Death Runes via The Abyss. I realized I needed tons of Amulets of Glories, so I headed on over to the Grand Exchange and bought 100 Amulets of Glory.
And so the grand Runecrafting began. It was definitely more exciting than Runecrafting at Lunar Isle or Ourania, that was for sure. You always ended up at a different place in the Abyss, and you always had to watch out for PKers.
The constant threat of PKers was definitely an annoyance. But what was more annoying was the fact that I continued to use my last charge on my Amulet of Glory and then forget to switch it for a new one. When that happened, I would have to Home Teleport to Lumbridge, run to the bank, switch my amulets and then teleport back to Edgeville.
I only ran into two PKers. The first one was a mage. He shot me with Entangle, then ran at me with his Dragon Scimitar. He hit a 200, then another 200, a 150, then a 120. I knew I was doomed. I began to madly click north, hoping that the Entangle spell would wear off and I would be able to teleport away. The mage hit a zero, and the spell still held. Then I thought "Uh oh... He hit me with a teleblock. Would that prevent me from using the Abyss as an escape plan?"
I clicked north again, and to my surprise, I started moving! The mage hit another zero, and before he could Entangle me again, I had teleported off into the Abyss.
As I entered the Abyss, another Runecrafter who had happened to see my great escape let me know that he was glad I had survived. Of course, after I teleprted back to Edgeville, I switched to another world.

After some more Runecrafting, a player in Mining Golds commented that he saw Zezima! I had never seen this legend before, and I really wanted to see him. Apparently, he was at World 84 Daemonheim.
For those of you who don't know, Zezima was the first player to max his stats, and was ranked as number one in the Hiscores for ages.
I hopped over to World 84, then teleported to Daemonheim. The first thing I noticed was the Jagex Moderator. It was Mod Togepi, and he was chatting with some players. Surprisingly, not a lot of people were here. I right clicked around, and then I saw him. Zezima. He really was there! He was not wearing anything, save for his default clothes.
If you guys don't know, Zezima has recently maxed his stats again! He is ranked number 24 right now, so he is currently trying to get back to the number one rank.
Zezima ran to the Daemonheim banker and started Fletching Magic Longbows. I guess he still has to get 200m experience in Fletching
I congratulated Zezima on maxing his stats. He didn't reply, although I think he had Public switched to off. I was talking with 0DarkKnight at this time, and I told him that I was standing next to Zezima. 0DarkKnight wanted to see him right away as well, so he came over. We chatted for a while, but then the big crowds of people started coming. The spammers, the trollers, they were all there. I guess now that Zezima isn't stuck in Daemonheim now, we're going to be seeing a lot more of him.
I congratulated him again, and decided it was time to leave. I teleported back to Edgeville and started Runecrafting again. Another PKer... This time, as I was running through the Wilderness, I saw the two players saying this:
Player 1: "I killed one a little while ago and got two amulets of glory"
Player 2: "haha nice"
Now what would you think as you ran past this? I started hoping against hope that they had somehow missed me. Nope. I saw that little coin-like object flying towards me.
