Before long, I had to make a second trip to the Monestary. I healed up and ran back to the Living Rock caverns. Not a whole lot happened... So I guess I'll explain why I have never tried Castle Wars.
I've heard about Castle Wars of course. To be honest, it sounds quite fun. Digging tunnels to sneak up behind the enemy lines, attacking other players. In all honesty, it truly sounds fun. So why haven't I tried it? Well... I don't really know. I have never gotten the urge to try it, and I'm not sure if I ever will. I've tried putting my finger on exactly what it is that deters me, but I jut can't figure it out. I've got a sneaking suspicion though. I think that somewhere in the back of my mind, I know that it's going to be one of those mini-games where if you try and actually win, the enemy players will get all mad at you and call you a noob. Like in Soul Wars, when you use the food that is on the tables. I'm not sure why people get all mad and upset over that; it's part of the mini-game!
Back in the Living Rock Caverns, ChaosZerk had logged in. We chatted for a while, and he asked me what I would do if he changed his name to "Grimwold3". To tell you the truth, I wouldn't be that surprised. I've come across a Grimworld and a Grimwhold before, so Grimwold3 wouldn't be too much different. He logged out, and I continued to mine. Fire Typhoon logged on. Wait, who's Fire Typhoon? I almost laughed! Silly ChaosZerk... He changes his name every month! I moused over his name, and sure enough, it was ChaosZerk. That account has had so many names... First it was Zerk Phantom, then Torva Spear, then Assai, then ChaosZerk, and now Fire Typhoon. It seems that right when I get used to his new name, he changes it again! But that's just one of the endearing qualities that makes him my friend
I mined more, and eventually had to log off. Wow! I had gotten tons of Mining experience today! 244k in one day!
I hope this makes up for yesterday's lack of a post :P
Night! :)

I started off today once again in the Living Rock Caverns. I didn't have a pickaxe because the one that Scret had lent to me was only good for six hours. So I became one of those people asking to borrow a Dragon Pickaxe. I asked around my clan a few times, and finally, Homer3632 told me that I could borrow one of his. We decided on meeting in the East Falador Bank, so I ran there straight away. I waited there. And waited. It had been quite a while... Where was he? Zetris randomly walked into the bank (Owner of Mining Golds), and I asked him if he had seen Homer3632. Nope. I waited longer.
Eventually, he did come. Apparently he had been mining some Adamant Ore. He lent me his Dragon Pickaxe. I thought it would have only been for six hours or so, but he lent it to me for 24 hours! He's a really nice guy, and also a totally pro Miner.
I headed back into the Living Rock Caverns. I had only just entered the Dwarven Mines, however, when I saw that one of the Adamant rocks had spawned. I ran over to it and started mining it. There was a player mining the three irons, and he asked me my Mining level. I responded with "92". He was level 51 himself, and he told me to watch. Nothing happened. I was getting a little confused. But all of a sudden, fireworks went off! He had gotten level 52 Mining! I congratulated him, and we both started dancing. Homer3632 appeared behind me, but didn't say anything. It was time to go Mining, so I bade farewell to the player and to Homer3632.
I lowered myself back into the Living rock caverns and started mining again. Once again, not a lot happened for a long time... So I'll think back to my first game of Stealing Creation.
I had heard about Stealing Creation, but had never tried it. The rewards seemed quite interesting, and I had heard that it was one of the most popular mini-games in Runescape. I had decided to give it a go. I ran way into the Wilderness, wary, as usual, for Revenants.

By this time, I knew about official worlds, so once I made it into the Stealing Creation zone, I logged out and re-entered on a Stealing Creation world. There were tons of people there. I tried to get into one of the fenced areas, but was told that I couldn't bring any items in with me. I found the deposit box and put in everything on me. I ran back to the fenced area and was allowed entry. A short while later, I entered the match.
I had a vague idea of what you were supposed to do, but it was my first time, and I was still a little unsure. I started picking some Class 1 clay. After I had a full inventory, I found a Creation Kiln and made myself a Harpoon, Pickaxe and Hatchet. I didn't make myself a Butterfly Net though; At this time, I had a Hunter level of about 15. I equipped my character with melee gear. I had a pretty low Smithing level, so my armour wasn't exactly the best. I ran around trying to find someone to kill. Almost laughable as I look back on it... I was only level 76. Unfortunately, an Ice Barrager found me. I was frozen and killed within seconds.
I spawned back at my base, along with half my team. What had happened? A huge crowd of enemy mages sat at my base, waiting for someone to try and escape. I tried, and was killed within milliseconds. After a few minutes, my entire team was locked within the base. We still had about ten minutes to go, so we just sat there, wondering what to do. Obviously, there were a few people on my team that started getting really angry at the enemies. I'm not really sure why, and I don't think I'll ever understand why. All they were doing was playing the game! Finally, after waiting ten minutes, the match ended. I was rewarded with a whole four points. Woo-hoo. I didn't really play Stealing Creation for a while after that. Don't get me wrong though-- It has become one of my favourite mini-games.
Back in the Living Rock Caverns, I was PMed by Kolumbo. Remember him?

Kolumbo was the player who had told everyone at the Grand Exchange that he was going to drop a Third Age Ranger Top. He told me that he had laughed at the story, and that made me laugh too. I asked him how he had found the story. Apparently, he had Googled his Runescape name, and had found my blog entry with him in it. What are the chances of that?
I continued to mine, and Magical Zing PMed me. He was Mining, and he wanted to join Mining Golds temporarily to help out with the Mining challenge. He switched to my world, and I waited in the East Falador Bank for him. In there, I noticed a former Mining Golds member. I said "Hi" to him, and we chatted for a while. He had joined a PvM clan, but intended to join Mining Golds again in the future.
Magical Zing finally came, and I invited him to the clan. Once invited, he left for the Crafting Guild, where he was mining gold. I ran back to the Living Rock Caverns, where I continued to mine.
I was at the South-West Concentrated Gold rock when I noticed an unusually large Living Rock Creature. I knew what it was right away; I had heard of these creatures, but had never actually seen one! It was a Living Rock Patriarch! A player was already attacking it, and I watched him slowly kill it while I mined my gold.
Time passed. I logged off and went for a bike ride in the unusually nice weather. When I came back, Fire Typhoonasked me a favour. He wanted me to make him a Gorgonite Longsword for Dungeoneering. I accepted, and I ran to the Falador bank, where I teleported to Daemmonheim. I waited there for a while, and Fire Typhoon eventually came. We entered a Medium sized dungeon, and began our exploration.
We were keeping our eyes peeled for Gorgonite Ore, but didn't see any. We unlocked the boss, the Unholy Cursebearer. We bagen the fight, and it was looking pretty good until I began to run out of food. The undead rot quickly began to injure me, and I died soon after.

Fire Typhoon had died right before me, and the instant I teleported back into the boss room, he had killed the boss. We didn't end though; we were still on the lookout for Gorgonite ore. We expanded the map, and still didn't see a single Gorgonite ore. We maxed out the map, and still didn't see any! Luckily, Fire Typhoon had been hoarding money, and I had a cashpile of 23k myself. I gave all my money to him, and he bought two Gorgonite Ores, along with ingredients for a Weak Artisan's Potion. I smelted the bars while I waited for him to make the potion.
He came back, gave me to potion, and I began my Smithing. I made the Gorgonite Longsword for him. He's a really nice guy, Fire Typhoon. He responded with "It's...it's... it's beautiful!". I chuckled, and headed off to end the Dungeon. I got about 9,000 experience, and the title "Nothing Special". Great. I always seem to get that one! It's probably because I key a lot, and there is no award for that.
I exited the dungeon and used a Falador teletab. I was running past the Party Room when I lagged and logged off. I hate it when that happens
I logged back on and when I reappeared, I was standing next to a level 52 player. He immediately asked me what world the official world was for Drop Parties. I had no clue, so I asked my clan. While I was waiting for an answer from them, he asked me where I got my Dragon Pickaxe from. I told him I had borrowed it. My clan didn't seem to know what the official world was either, so I told him to maybe just try switching worlds until you found one. He asked me a few more questions, all of which I answered, and he logged off.
I ran back to the Living Rock Caverns, where I continued to mine. After a few minutes, I got a PM from one of my clanmates, Str1135. His message was short and simple: "Look at public". I almost always have my Public on Hide, so I turned it on "On", and looked back into the chat history, curious.

A player named "I Look Doors" had told me that he had seen me before. I asked him where, and he replied with "Here, a few hours ago". I gave him a big smiley face, something like this ---->
I talked with him for a few minutes, then banked. A long, long time of Mining passed. I think Mining Golds has got this competition easily. We've gotten so much Mining experience over the past few days, it's not even funny. So far, I think we've gained something like 24m experience in just over a day.
In my clan, a player (whom I won't name), was beggin for money. No one was giving him any of course, so he started getting really upset and angry. I warned him to stop beggin over and over. I actually kind of wante to kick him; I had never kicked anyone before! But I wanted to make sure that I had given him as many chances as possible. I warned him repeatedly, and my clanmates were beginning to get quite angry with him. Eventually, I kicked him off... Or tried to.
I clicked the "Kick Player" button, and nothing happened. Nothing at all. What the heck... I thought Lieutenant and over could kick people! ForeverMandy, and Adminisrator, also tried and failed. I PMed her and asked her what was wrong. She had no idea, so I went into the Clan Details. Apparently only Captain and up could kick people. Figures... As soon as I get a promotion, they change what level can kick! I PMed 0kiwigirl0, a Captain within Mining Golds. She couldn't kick the player either. Eventually, after a long time, the player Ratatosk managed to kick him. I'm still not sure why everyone Captain and up had so much trouble...
Well, that concludes today! Oh, I'm really close to level 93 Mining! I even broke the 7,000,000 Mining experience barrier today! I think I gained about 247,000 Mining experience today, just a little more than yesterday.
Well, thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed it!
Good night!

Hey guys!
I turned my computer on and went to Internet Explorer. Normal procedure. Except this time, my Internet Explorer had 'conveniently' upgraded itself to version 9. I Googled Runescape, and went through the forums. After looking around there for a while, I clicked the Play Now button. Runescape tried to load. Tried. I got a message telling me that Internet Explorer couldn't connect to Runescape. Well that sucked. I tried a few more times, but my efforts were futile. I Googled around, and made a thread in the Technical Help forum.
I figured that it was the Internet Explorer 9 that was the problem, so I tried to find out how to downgrade back to version 8. I found my answer, and I went through tons of technical panels until I finally came to the right one. I clicked 'downgrade'. I needed an Administator's P-word... Which I had completely forgotten. I knew I had written it down somewhere... I rummaged around. I checked my thread. I went outside, eating my lunch and playing with my dog.
After an hour, I came back and checked my thread. A player had suggested that I use Compatibility Mode. Hm, I hadn't thought about that! I clicked Play Now and clicked Compatibility Mode. I prayed... and it worked! I thanked the people who had commented on my thread and started playing.
I was in the Living Rock Caverns (of course), but I didn't have a Dragon Pickaxe. I asked around in my clan, but unfortunately, no one was available to give me one this time. Time to bring out the good old Rune Pickaxe! I think I've had the same Rune Pickaxe since I started...
I ran to Falador, picked up my Rune Pickaxe and started mining. Just about everyone mining in Mining Golds was in World 88, so I decided to switch over to there (I didn't get too much experience, so it couldn't hurt to break the 65 minute rule). I entered World 88. What a change! Compared to World 84, 88 was empty! The change? No bots! That's right, everyone there was a legitimate player.

I was used to all the bots in World 84 being my meat shields, so I was being hit fairly hard with no armour on. After I was taken down to half-health, I decided to go back to Falador and put on some armour. I put on my Mining Golds cape, my Dragon Platelegs, Bandos Chestplate, and, of course, my trusty octopus! Unfortunately, the octopus I was wearing (and the one in my profile picture) isn't my original one. I lost my original one when I died in the Living Rock Caverns a long time ago. For some reason, it didn't appear under my grave...
Anyways, I mined away, having great conversations with the actual players. I was also reading a book though, "The Shining" by Stephen King. Pretty good read, I would definitely recommend it. After about 45 minutes, Homer3632 asked me in the Clan Chat if I wanted to borrow a Dragon Pickaxe. Of course I did! Only problem was, he was in World 84, while I was in 88. I still had to wait 20 minutes for the 65 minute rule. So I mined away, killing the time with a mixture of Runescape Forums, conversation, reading and Youtube.
The twenty minutes eventually exhausted themselves, and I met up with Homer3632 at World 84, East Falador bank. He lent his Dragon Pickaxe to me, but only for three hours this time, at my request. The clan challenge was nearly over, and I was getting close to gaining a Mining level! He lent it to me, and I immeditaely switched worlds, back to 88. I headed back to the Living Rock Caverns, determined to gain the next Mining level.
At one of the gold rocks, there was a deep conversation going on. Except that it was completely in Finnish! I tried to decipher words, but the only conclusion I could come to was "ja" was equivalent to "and". More Finnish people came, and there was a huge converstaion going on around me, completely in this foreign language. Talk about feeling excluded... Luckily, I still had my clan to keep me company.

Wearing armour in the Living Rock Caverns was great. I barely got hit at all! The best part of World 88 was that there were a lot of people killing the Living Rock Creatures and not mining their bodies. That left them open for me, Class A Scavenger! I got tons of Living Minerals out of them!
Hours passed, and the Clan Challenge came to a close. In total, Mining Golds had gained about 33,000,000 Mining experience. But of course, some of that wouldn't be counted towards the challenge due to logging out, boosts, etc. Even though the challenge was over, I still didn't stop Mining. I was only 40,000 experience away from gaining a Mining level! I mined longer, and in just under an hour, I finally reached level 93 Mining! I tell you, Mining has got to be one of the slowest skills. But then I think back to Runecrafting... Runecrafting is way harder to get experience in.
Well I had finally gotten 93 Mining, so I headed out of the gloomy cave that was the Living Rock Caverns. I took a minecart to the Grand Exchange, where I geared up for some Slayer. I asked Lion0f Judah for the best method. Apparently, all you had to do was use Protect from Magic and you were good to go. I bought a few more Prayer Potions and took out my Ectophial. I was about to use it when I randomly wondered if it was faster to run from Varrock to the Slayer Tower than to run from the Ectofuntus. I decided to try it out.
Ages later, I finally reached the Slayer Tower. Pretty obvious: I'm definitely running from the Ectofuntus next time. I went over to the rope ladder and tested it out. Awww... You needed level 61 Agility, and I only had level 60! Another thing onto the "To-Do-Later List". I made my way to the second floor and and killed one Aberrant Spectre. It was dinner time, so I logged off.
After dinner, I came back on and started killing more Aberrant Spectres. After a few more kills, 0DarkKnight PMed me. He was a fan of my blog, and we chatted for a while.

He was Dungeoneering, and had just come across Lexicus Runewright for the first time. He was having some troubles with him, so I gave him some advice to use. Right then, Fire Typhoon PMed me, and asked if I wanted to go Dungeoneering with him. Well I was right in the middle of a task... But them again, I hadn't hung out with him for a while now. So after a while, I agreed to go. He was on the same world as me, so no world switch needed to happen. I used my Ectophial that I still had with me, and ran to the Port Phasmatys bank. I deposited my loot and potions and teleported to Daemonheim. I ran to the banker there and deposited my gear. Fire Typhoon invited me to my party and we entered a floor.
We flew the floors quickly, and defeated the first boss, a Saggitare, with little problem. The next floor was quite easy as well. In fact, it's never the floor itself that's the problem... It's always the boss. The second boss was Lexicus Runewright. I died pretty lamely. He summoned a Book Barrage, so I ran away from the wizard. For some reason, the books blew up prematurely, and completely owned me.
I spawned at the base, and ran to the Group Teleport. Back in the fight, we quickly dispatched Lexicus. I was still chatting with 0DarkKnight, and unfortunately for him, he had come to the Aberrant Spectres to come kill them with me. I hadn't told him that I was Dungeoneering! My bad
The third floor's boss was my second least favourite. Night-Gazer Khigorak. Fire Typhoon and I ran around lighting the torches, while the boss repeatedly used his special attack. Fire Typhoon was hit by one of them, and died. Just me left. I ran around lighting the torches, landing a few hits. I waited for Fire Typhoon to come back; Could you imagine my surprise when I see the massage "Fire Typhoon has left the party" comes up? All alone. I continued attacking the behemoth, and Fire Typhoon re-entered. He had lagged out apparently.
