There, I was instructed to stand in front of the north west window. Thinking nothing of it, I casually walked over... But found that I couldn't! Everytime I tried to stand by the window, I would be teleported to the window just south of it! This was a really weird glitch... I kept running in a continuous circle, having some fun.
It was getting late though, so I decided to check how many Gold Ores I had before logging off. Whoa! Almost 13,000! That was pretty crazy... I could get tons of Smithing experience off of that!
I said good-bye to the clan, OverMauled and J ame s (who had just achieved 99 Attack and Constitution int he last two days! So much for becoming inactive ) and logged off.
Thanks for reading!
Good night!
P.S. Only 190,000xp until 95 Mining!

I logged on today, still in the Edgeville bank. I ran over to the General Store to see if that weird glitch had been patched. Nope, not yet... That made me smile, for apparently no reason at all.
I made a quick trip to Miscellania and boosted my Approval, then headed back down into the Living Rock Caverns. When I go mining, I'm usually in the Mining Golds Friends Chat; that's where the real magic happens! The players call the rock spawns and collapses, which makes mining the Concentrated Ores so much easier. For those of you who haven't mined in the Living Rock Caverns before, I'll give a description of how it works.
There are four main Gold Rocks, and three main Coal Rocks. The four Gold rocks are named in relation to their direction from the bank. They are SE, SW, NW and NE, where those letters stand for North, South, West and East. When you call a rock, you state that rocks name, along with the state it is in: D for Down or U for up.
So if the South-east gold rock had just spawned, you would say "SEU". This makes it really convenient for other miners who were perhaps about to head to a different rock, but then know that that rock is open.
The coal rocks have great names! When I first joined Mining Golds way back in 2010, the main coal rocks were named "Fatty", "Skinny" and "Tiny". But now that all of the Mining Golds clans came together, they have been renamed. Fatty is now Carl, and Skinny is now Cindy. To this day, I have no idea what the new name for Tiny is... Half the time, I can't even remember what Fatty and Skinny is supposed to be called!
And that's basically how you mine in the Living Rock Caverns! I'm actually quite inefficient with my time though.

Most other miners wear their Gold Mining Suits and their Dragon Pickaxes, along with a ton of Juju Potions. Whereas here I am with just my nooby Rune Pickaxe! Some players have no idea how I manage to do it... I've never used those other boosters before though, so I guess I don't know what I'm missing out on!
Let's be honest here: I've been mining for a long time, but I still don't know the ins and outs of the skill. I didn't actually know where the NW Gold Rock was! I was at the NE Gold Rock when I asked ForeverMandy to take me there. We went way over to the Western side of the cavern, and there, on the opposite side of the river, was the NW Gold Rock. It was too far away from the bank to be of use though, so it was only good for drop-mining.
So I mined on. The Living Rock Caverns is like a little community. All the high level Miners go to the LRC on world 88, so you tend to see the same faces over and over again. Because Mining is such a "boring" skill (I don't think so ) the little jokes really make people laugh.
One player, at the SW rock, wrong chatted his Facebook name into the LRC! Obviously, it was intended for a Private Message, but he had accidently put it into Public! Everyone started laughing then, and after seeing his mistake, you could almost feel his embarrasment. It was pretty funny
I mined and mined, slowly my experience building towards that ultimate goal: Wait, what goal? I'm just mining because it's fun!
So after a long time, I finally broke the 100,000xp barrier! Yep, I only have 74,000xp to go until I achieve level 95 Mining! I wonder how long I'll keep this up... If I continue at this rate, I should get 99 Mining in just a few weeks!
OverMauled and I still poured over Level 9 of that puzzle website. Many other players, like Calcrulz, Dordracio and lilmk are also joining into the puzzling fun! It's quite an evil puzzle... Level 1 is easy, as is Level 2... But they only get worse from there.
Well, thanks for reading!
Good night!

I logged on to Runescape after a great session of rock climbing. A little gaming can't hurt after some intense exercise! I was really close to level 95 Mining. And boy, I wanted it bad.
I was most excited about the new technical updates though! The new middle mouse button update is superb! And the autowrapping text? Genius. The biggest update though was the options to show what appears in your Adventure's Log. I think this was a hugely anticipated update, and is one that I definitely applaud Jagex for. In fact, it's these small technical updates that I really like, instead of things that only make the game easier. To be honest, today's updates are probably my favourites of this entire year.
OverMauled and I worked steadily at our puzzles. We finally made it past level 9, and after a series of discoveries and breakthroughs, we actually made it to level 15! The best part is that for most of the levels, OverMauled and I would get half of the answer, while the other player would finish it off. We really are an awesome team!
I mined away, and Joshyway came to the Living Rock Caverns to mine! The time passed quickly. With OverMauled and I working on puzzles, I was gaining experience much faster than I thought. In fact, when we had reached level 13, I casually checked my remaining Mining experience. I was shocked to see a 314 there! I was so close! I looked around for a Concentrated Gold rock, but the one I was at, SE, was down. I ran to SW, but that was down also. Fatty coal rock was down too... They really didn't want me to get this level!
I finally settled at the Skinny coal rock. I always like to gain my high levels in a controlled manner. That way, you can Quick-Chat it! So, I had 314xp to go. I mined a bit and got it down to 64xp. Now here was a problem. Sometimes, you mine two ores at once, which awards you with 100xp instead of the standard 50xp for coal.

So because I only had 64xp left, I quick-chatted my level into the clan chat. Luckily, I gained a regular coal instead of a single one. And then, I mined that fateful piece of coal. BOOM! I achieved level 95 Mining! I could now use my knowledge of Mining to open Sated Effigies! This was a weird moment... I had only seen that message one other time, and that was for Fletching. A weird wave of nostalgia came over me.
I mined for just a bit more, trying to get the remaining experience below the 900,000 range. I was at the SW rock when a huge Living Rock Patriarch spawned! I clicked to attack it right away, but I was too slow; another miner, Alec, managed to steal it away! He gave up after a while though, so I tried to attack it again. Again, I was too slow! Another miner stole it away!
I banked my Gold Ore and logged off for the day. I'm still quite into Mining... In fact, I'm wondering if I might even get that dreamy Mining Cape! I guess we'll have to wait and find out

Good night!

I logged on and started my Mining again. I had just over 900,000xp to go until level 96 Mining, so I had a long ways to go .
I always make sure I have something to occupy myself with while I mine. This time, that distraction happened to be some math homework and those dreaded puzzles. Although I might not like to admit it, those puzzles were perhaps a little too distracting... I was quite absorbed in it!
To my extreme satisfaction, I managed to finally figure out the answer to level 15! OverMauled and I busted our brains out a bit more, and eventually, we reached level 20. And this is where we're stuck at the moment. If any of you guys manage to catch up to us, please help us out!
All the while, I mined and mined. A guest had entered the Mining Golds cc by the name of Hardcore RS, and he wanted an invitation! I told him to meet me at the Living Rock Caverns on World 88, but to my surprise, he was already there! I ran north from the SE rock, and found him standing at the camp. I invited him, and Mining Golds gained a new clan member!
I was getting awfully close to reaching 8,900,000 Mining experience. In fact, I knew I would get it! I reached it at the SE rock a little while later! This means that I should reach the 9,000,000xp mark by tomorrow! I find it quite funny that I have so much experience in one of the slowest skills, yet I can't stand Cooking because it seems so slow... Weird.
TheSpiffiest logged on! He hadn't been active for a while, due to school and such, but he managed to find some time to log onto Runescape. He told me that free-to-play had endured some major updates! I had actually heard of this prior to him telling me; it's quite a popular forum topic at the moment.

If you aren't aware of the huge update to free-to-play worlds, here it is: Adbots have been silenced! Yes, it's a beautiful thing over in the free-to-play worlds. I haven't been over there just yet, but I've heard that even in World 1 Grand Exchange, all the Adbots just stand there, saying nothing.
I didn't have time to check it out though; it was time to log off already. OverMauled and I are stuck on level 20 still... The frustration! Even better though... Only 94,000xp to go until 9,000,000xp in Mining! I haven't grown bored of Mining just yet... I really do wonder if I'll end up getting that skillcape or not... If I do, I'll be planning a party, where everyone can come!
Well, that was it for today! Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Sorry guys, no entry today. I had a very long day today, and literally had no time to write an entry. I did manage to get about an hour of time to play though... While I was doing other work. All I did was mine though
Tomorrow shouldn't be so hectic though, so I'll see you then!

Hi guys!
I had lots of time to play today! Well maybe not lots, but definitely more than yesterday! So I started today with... You guessed it, more Mining. I was so close to reaching that 9,000,000xp mark! Not long after, I watched that eight digit turn into a nine. If only it would then turn into a thirteen... A short time after watching this spectacle, a bunch of my clanmates were organizing a Bandos God Wars Dungeon trip. Mining Golds boss trips are notoriously lucky, so I decided I would go to the mass!
I Home Teleported to Lumbridge and headed to the bank, where I got some items. I hadn't been into the God Wars Dungeon for a while, let alone a mass event, so I was a little unsure of the number of supplie I was to be taking. I settled on one Super Set and seven Prayer Potions, along with a Hammer and some other tools. I summoned a Spirit Terrorbird and filled that with Monkfish.
I teleported to Trollheim and headed into the God Wars Dungeon. I was in 55x2 Your PC's Friends Chat, and the players there had told me that I wouldn't need an Armadyl or Saradomin item. So when I entered, I was hit with a friendly 400 from a Saradomin Mage. I quickly ran north-west to the Bandos Fortress. I rang the gong and entered. I tried finding low level monsters, but the lowest level I could find was the level 51 Jogres. So I camped at them for quite some time, attempting to reach 40 kills. By the time I reached 20 kills, a clanmate showed me that I could have been killing the level 17 Goblins outside...
So I headed back out into the battlefield, ready to spill some Goblin blood!

I ran about, searching for the Goblins. There weren't many of them, but I could find a few of them mingling with the Orks and Ogres. I hunted them, but they were tricky. Those level 17 Goblins knew that they couldn't kill me, so instead, they lured me over to the Armadyl Fortress, where the Aviansies started ranging my unprotected body. That was alright though; my familiar was getting a little low on its timer already, so I was a little eager to eat some of the food.
Finally, I had a 40 Killcount! I joined my comrades and we entered the Bandos Boss room! Another group was already there, presumably from another clan, so we had a bit of competition. The kills were fast though. Ridiculously fast. I was surrounded by players levels 130+, and all of them had awesome stats. General Graardor would be defeated in under five seconds, while the minions would be killed even faster. Most of the time, I found myself not doing anything due to the fact that by the time I clicked attack, the monster was already dead!
Eventually, the other clan left, and we had the whole place to ourselves! That round, one of my clanmates recieved Bandos Boots! I'm not entirely sure why it wasn't split (we were on Coinshare), but kudos to him anyhow! It seemed that I was cursed with the dreaded "Bone Loot Curse". In other words, all I seemed to be recieving from my drops were bones! I watched in dismay as my fellow clanmates recieved coin drop after coin drop. Finally, I recieved a decent drop! A Rune Platebody! Not awesome, but better than a pile of bones, for sure.
We sped through the kills, and it was soon apparent that I had brought too much food. My Spirit Terrorbird was down to only a minute and a half left, and I had tons of food left, along with full health. I quickly drained my familiar of its possessions and dropped whatever I didn't need. My clanmates picked up the remnants. We killed loads of bosses, without a good drop.
