I didn't see it. (but I didn't really try, as all my guesses are wrong anyway..)
Only one thing... Zert must have lost his edge--seeing how well he owned everyone in everything else I read

Great story 10/10. It reminds me way too much of The Matrix now. Which isn't a bad thing. I havent been playing RS long enough to read the first parts of the story unfourtuneately
Im sure they were just as good as this though.

That really isn't supposed to be the major twist, lol.
If you didn't know that it was supposed to be Zert- for shame
Zert needed to become involved for a few reasons:
1. It makes it a lot more interesting
2. It gives a sense of Scyne's godlike power, as he was easily able to defeat Zert.
I would be interested as to what your guesses are for future twists?
I assure you that there is a twist in the works that no one has yet predicted, but has become painfully obvious in recent chapters.
Be prepared- the plot soon thickens.
