The assassin looked from Undershadow, to Jay, then back again. "Greetings."
Jay sighed. "Look, if you've come to claim the program, again, we don't have it. And, frankly, we really are not up for a fight."
The assassin laughed coldly. "Things have been set into motion that cannot be undone. Fighting is your last option. You have no idea what this is all leading up to."
Jay looked into the assassin's cool grey eyes. "And you know any of this.... how?"
The assassin shrugged. "I've had... experience."
Undershadow questioned him, "How so?"
The assassin paused for a moment, then continued. "Scyne- he is a grave threat, not only to this game, but to humanity itself."
Jay replied, "Humanity itelf? How is the real world even remotely effected by this game?"
"Scyne possesses a program that could be released to the world. Our computerized world would be devasated, and he would, in sort, be able to hold the entire world hostage with the program. However, I understand he is missing something."
Jay nodded. "The pass word."
The assassin grinned. "You have it, correct?"
Jay was reluctant to answer, but Undershadow nodded. "Yeah, we've got it."
The assassin sighed. "It is the key to everything. If you lose it, we shall all fail."
"Fail?"
The assassin nodded. "I returned only to ensure the safety of the program. It is not safe. Thus, I am failing. You must discard the pass word and allow it to be lost forever."
Jay shook his head. "Look, I've really got bigger problems right now..."
The man shook his head. "You have no idea."
The assassin turned to walk out of the room. Undershadow stopped him. "Who are you?"
The man turned and shrugged. As he exited the room, he allowed his name to become visible:
Zert.
