OK, I'll post. I just read the story. Actually, I lied, I read it about seven minutes ago.

So some guy gets sucked out a window after noticing two red dots on a screen, dies, there's a reflection about the afterlife, and has a chat with a spirit.

This is why you should invest in automatic shields, that work all the time, without being told to do so via a button.

Funny, that in my childhood I imagined souls floating through space to go through some sort of limbo, I guess.

Oh, but I didnt like a few things. I already know that space is infinite and all that jazz, you don't need to tell me things I already know. O=
But it still helps anyways.

So I guess now is the time to wait for more to be posted and not worry about the other things I didnt like.

Oh, and if it takes you another year to make 6 posts I'll punch my cat in the face. ;)

Stream of consciousness while reading:

Intro
~~~
"Psychopomp," though perfectly apt, is one of the most ridiculous words in the English language.
Prologue:
~~~
All your base are belong to us.

Chapter One
~~~
Tryst is a great and under-used word.
Dreams inside dreams? Apparently futuristic space soldiers have watched Inception too.
"Still all he saw was the blackness." I think you've misplaced a comma.
Aurgur is remarkably relaxed and casual, for being a psychopomp. Or maybe all psychopomps are like that; it would certainly justify the name.
Boss? Raise? And this guy places himself in the same domain as valkyries and Anubis? Standards seem to have slipped, at least in the "spiritual intimidation" factor.
Plural of millennium is millennia.
I think three semicolons in one sentence is probably a forum record.
And now, to match the thirty times you've thanked me for allowing you to get your reserves:
You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome.
Oooh, you better hope I'm not a kitty-hater. We'll see how it goes; like I said, it takes backseat to my main piece of work.
Thanks for reading, though. :)
EDIT: Poller slipped in. And you weren't even online when I was taking those; you've no room to say 'you're welcome'.
All I have to say is that if I was planning to write another story, he'd still be regarded by the living as intimidating, somber, God-like, etc. That's part of the reason he's so casual. Sorta defies expectations. Whether that's good or bad is up to interpretation.
