Surprisingly, his family allowed him to accompany the Elves back to the Empire of Yorandis, where he was trained in combat and engaged in petty, low-level adventures. He became a proficient archer and a superb horseman, and when he combined the two skills he became an incredibly skilled mounted archer, besting local warriors far older and more experienced than himself. He discovered a particular affinity for horses, easily connecting with any equestrian he encountered, and he soon became able to ride any horse as if it were a steed he had trained with his whole life.

After 4 years of training, he sought to see more of the world and to prove himself. He figured Daralt would be a good place to test his skills and make a fair bit of coin as well.

Other: He says "Shot 'em" every time he hits his mark.

The Mercenaries Bar - Innes

The tail itself could have been described as fleshy, warm and delightfully fluffy. A real tail, attached to a flesh and blood person? How… extraordinary! A smile crossed her lips, an obsessive longing in her eyes. For all of her sinfully obsessive ways, this was the one thing she could never have. Which, in a way, was okay – if her maker saw fit to make the perfection that was her without a tail, who were she to argue?

As if suddenly taking attention of his notice, Innes*s head snapped upwards. Though he were shrouded, she felt she could make a good image of the man-beast’s image by way of a cursory trip up the beast man's firm form. He looked sturdy enough, but was he party material?

“I’m sorry, you reminded me of a friend I used to know. It’s the ears .”
She lied cheerfully, finally loosening her grip on the man’s tail. Pulling up a stall, she fitted in snugly into Algirdas’s recently vacated seat. Leaning into the table for an oh-so-subtle peek at the beast-man’s face, she sniggered.

Glancing momentarily toward the shocked serving girl, she said oh-too-cheerfully,
"So that pretty much sums up your luck with the ladies, huh?"

Glenn Hunter

Glenn sat at the bar, surveying the room. Merchants, guardsmen who were distracted with idle chatter, and plenty of opportunities. His hands itched, longing to dive into someone else’s pockets, but Glenn resisted the urge. It would be so easy though…

…no. He was here trying to get away from the trouble that caused him to get run out of the last couple of places.

He gave the bartender a glare as he sized him up, swiped the drink indignantly, and placed the coins on the bar, turning back away from the man. He wasn’t sure what exactly he had done to warrant the attitude, perhaps it was the fact that he seemed too low to visit a nice place like this. Buncha’ pompous, snooty…

…the drink wasn’t even that good.

He turned in his head as a blonde man sat beside him. A man of the Empire, if his accent was anything to go by. Glenn shook the man’s hand and sipped his drink, listening.

“If you’re the one looking for someone to go and snag an amulet from some thieves; then yes. Glenn Hunter at your service!”

He punctuated this sentence with a small salute, and sipped his drink some more.

"Really someone with ears like mine huh? Interesting..."
Fang said a bit amused by this person. Unlike mostly other people she didn't scream or look at him like a monster. Other then a bit of curiosity about what he is, but that is to be expected. He didn't look like everyone else. Fang then answers her question about his luck with 'the ladies'
"Missing the pitchforks and torches but yet it sums it up nicely. At least she didn't scream werewolf, wouldn't want people thinking that.

Pulling a several more pieces of silver then says,
"Let me buy you a drink for not flipping out completely when seeing me. What do you say?"
Being friendly, figuring be nice to the person who wasn't treating like some monster Maybe get some help with the goblin's job, figuring a bit of help wouldn't be bad for a easier job like this.
and nothing was spoiled :P

Gabriel

"They don't know we're coming." Gabriel stated quietly, a spaced out look in his eyes as he turned away from Algirdeas. "And we can't take them on ourselves..." He was quiet for several seconds, before focus suddenly came to his eyes. He had been here for days now, the goblins would likely move on soon if they hadn't already. He was tired of waiting.

"To hell with it..." He grumbled, suddenly changing his mind. He stood up and turned to face the rest of the Inn. "I'm heading out to fight those goblins!" He announced. "With or without help. Last chance to take the job!" And then he turned and began marching out the door, which meant that if anyone truly wished to take the job they would likely have to disentangle themselves from whatever inactive catgirl had caught their attention.

-----

Petrus

"Glad to hear it!" Petrus said, a slight smile on his face. He glanced over his shoulder to look back at the guards. "Not here, though." He whispered nervously. "Some of the guards in this city are corrupt, so we best discuss this in private. Follow me." And with that he got up from the stool and turned to walk out the door.

Clearly, this was a lot more complicated than 'retrieving an amulet from some thieves.'

If Glenn opted to follow the man, Petrus would lead him out into the streets of the Market District. He would turn a corner, and then walk down a dark and secluded alleyway. "I assure you this is not an ambush." He said over his shoulder, before coming to a stop about halfway down the alleyway and turning around completely.

If Glenn trusted the man's word, he could follow. If not, he could walk away. It was as simple as that.

Nestor

"Ah... What a wonderful day." Nestor Galassi took a long breath of the seaside air as he walked down a street adjacent to Daralt's docks. He had been in the city for two days now, staying with a few acquaintances he had traveled with from Yorandis. They were similar young lads—bold, energetic adventurers eager to get their swords wet in the city (ayyy).

Nestor's scarf ruffled gently as a mild breeze blew in from the ocean. His bow was slung over his shoulder and his two quivers were firmly fastened to his hip and to his back. He was fully dressed for battle—today he would seek his first mission at The Mercenary's Pub . He had found it on his first day here, but didn't enter. Trying to remember his way back, Nestor eventually found himself standing outside the place.

Taking a look at the job board, most of the tasks were exciting enough. Fighting a pack of goblins sounded like a textbook operation. Finding a missing amulet seemed less action-packed. A vampire? Ehh...

After reading through every job, his eyes darted back up to the top of the list. The bounty on bandit leader Harold Wilkar had the highest payout — and could the man really be more dangerous than a vampire? Nestor had already defeated several bandit gangs back in the desert, though they were mostly disheveled old men.

"I'm heading out to fight those goblins! With or without help! Last chance to take the job!" Tense words were uttered before an angry-looking man stormed out of the door. Sliding out of his way, Nestor watched him storm off.

Then the young sand archer then entered the building. A stout man in chainmail sitting at a table next to the entrance turned and glared at him. "Hi, how ya doin'?" Nestor greeted him warmly yet casually.

Walking past a large black man, a tiny young girl, some kind of werewolf, and an unmoving catgirl, he approached the bar and took a seat.

"Water, please."
Ramsay Bolton is the king we deserve.

Algirdas

While Innes and Fang talked about nothing, and that black guy gawping at the fox-girl like an idiot (or so assumed through Algirdas' eyes), Gabriel mentioned that the goblins would not know anyone would be coming. Algirdas nodded. But then, after a pause, Gabriel, after some thought, decided to get going. Shouting for attention, which would snap Kyve back into real-world, Gabriel headed out. Algirdas quickly ordered cheap beer, guzzled it down, and then walked passed Nestor, Algirdas' lamellar armour clinking a bit. He put on his nasal helm, grasped his longaxe, and with shield slung over the shoulders, he went out the bar, but stopped halfway through the door, and looked back in.

“We go kill goblins for Gabriel! Anyone who does, we go now!" Algirdas shouted eagerly, then followed Gabriel.

“When we fight, if we don't kill all, it does not count.” Algirdas said to Gabriel, meaning the Baltic pagan wanted to preform a complete eradication of the goblins, and he was quite eager to go forth and fight!

Innes

"See, hun? If you had opened up that, those serving girls would be head over heels for yo-“
Innes chuckled, pausing as the drunken men shouted rowdily across the bar. Turning, her eyes followed as the men strode boldly out of the bar.

“A little sudden, but far be it from me to hold back on my divine skill!”
Innes exclaimed, jumping from her stall. She continued with a wink,
“Keep the seat warm for me, would you... unless you’re thinking of coming too?”

Not waiting for the wolfman’s response, she took her sceptre and raced after the men.

Glenn

*Wait, what?”
Glenn said, looking around the tavern. “Why would we need to worry about guards, corrupt or not?” he asked, voice low. Petrus left before he could get any answers, and Glenn just sat in the stool for a second, before quickly finishing his drink and chasing his new employer out the door.

Glenn stopped as Petrus lead him to a dark alley, and looked around suspiciously before crossing his arms. He looked seriously unimpressed, and glared at Petrus in the darkness.

“Yeah, okay. Not an ambush. I hope you won’t mind if I pull out my weapons, just to be on the safe side.*
Glenn said, his voice dripping with contempt, while he pulled his crossbow out of its sheath.

“Now, just so we’re clear: If anybody other than yourself is hiding in this alley, I’m going to shoot them.”
Glenn said, hopefully loud enough to scare anybody who might be hiding.

With that statement, Glenn walked towards Petrus, crossbow at the ready.
