Hey, thanks for the feedback.
Would you care to elaborate on the monotonous style of writing?
Monotonous, implies unvaried, which I felt I had made quite a contrast with the narrator from the before and after the event (well, given the metafiction twist, but let's not go into post-modernism for now), so I am quite intrigued by your comment.
Out of interest, what kind of things do you normally read?

I just finished this, and I must say it's absolutely wonderful.
How cruel of David. I kind of wanted to jump into this world and punch him in the face.
I could truly feel the emotions of the characters, and I love what you've put into this story. It's quite possibly one of the best works (if not THE best) that I've read thus far.
It reminds me of Gilles' story, in that the theme was similar. I'm not sure if you know the story that I'm talking about.

But such disregard for the effort, and all that Alex had put forth... I wasn't looking for them to fall in love and live happily ever after. One shouldn't have to conform to someone simply because of admiration. Simple recognition would've been nice.
A question... Is this Alex the same one as the Alex in Quest for Love?
