Life is...as it always is for me, I guess. :P
Thank you for stopping by and I eagerly look forward to your Romance as, you probably can tell, there aren't that many Romances around.
And procrastination is the death of writing. Remember that. Writing these things takes huge amount of self-discipline. I'm having trouble with that too :P

Hmm... Yeah... And some of the distractions in life are actually serious to me as well since generally, it is something regarding my home or the house I'm moving to. I think I had mentioned that I'm moving so this holiday ain't the optimum time to write but I can find the time and the end is neigh. By the way, I'm glad you're looking forward it... =)

Ah, I see. But an optimal time to write...? :P Say, I always convince myself that Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4 pm - 6 pm are my optimal times to write but it usually doesn't mean anything :P
Okay, you need to write that because Romance makes people warm and fuzzy :)

YES! =D I'll get it done with all haste but preserve the quality... Yeah another thing, I have heard of the problem that as people develop further into their story, their abilities somewhat drops and the quality falls as a result. I'm trying my best to keep myself hyped up about it so that the standard can be maintained...

I can only write when I have the time aside from helping parents sort out those issues... But I tend to delve straight in whenever I get a sudden inspirational thought or an ingenious idea.

That happens. Although, this happens more often in serialized stories as opposed to authors who have the entire story planned. It happens when their enthusiasm or interest in the project wears off.
It happenes particularly to those who's worked on a story for 7+ years.
If that's the case, take a short break and write about something else, then come back.
I tend to have short enthusiasm spans so I try to complete the first draft in a month - 6 months. After that, the project probably falls apart. Which is why I never write huge stories :P
It happens.
If you have an ingenius idea, write it down on a notepad before evaluating it to see how it is best fit into your story :)

Haha, just broke my record as I chatted with Elly for like 5 hours last night. My previous record being 3 :|
Good, glad it is coming along, 2Ol2. How long is it going to be?
I've been doing some writing today as well. Half way through Chapter 5, an ingenius (in my opinion) plot twist occured to me and to implement that I had to scrap my original idea and delete some previous stuff, but the story should be better for it. Also, the end is in sight! I should finish Chapter 5 in the next writing session, and finish the short-ish Chapter 6, then wrap up and call the whole project finished.
I'm ahead of schedule at this point and we may have an early release for my new story. Thanks Elly for his undying support and encouragement! I am ready now spurred on, ready to tighten up and finish the job.
Are you all excited? No? I certainly am, for some bizarre reason :P

It's not very long, around 3000 words and I am close to the conclusion but there is still a lot to check up, redo and perhaps re-write the entire thing likewise to what you had done to this. =)
I'm exicted, your stories are amazing and particularly "The Priceless" which had set a new benchmark!

3000 words is good, a respectable length for a short story :)
...Yeah, I do do a lot of edit. I try to post it with as little errors as possible. I'm sure game designers try to release a game without many major bugs too, huh?
More good news today. Elly's encouragement has caused me to stick with it and finish the 10 pages long Chapter 5. Now I just need to write a little epilogue tomorrow and I'll call it done.
It's been 4 months of hard work :P
Anyway, yeah, The Priceless set the benchmark three years ago. That is my target this time, and hopefully I'll achieve something more.
But then, a writer's opinion of his own work is not always the same as his readers. Perhaps you'll think it's trash. Dunno, but I'm really excited, and it will be posted when it is ready.
Right now though, I have trouble writing a suitable advertisement. I need some ideas, people!
Ideas. Ideas. I-de-as! *grunts*

Cool =P,
I think mine is overloaded too much with ideas (such as running metaphors)... Gotta do some serious reviewing to perhaps focus on just a few metaphors and extend or emphasise them slightly more. What do you reckon?
Furthermore, I am sure that you'll exceed "The Priceless"... ^_^
