Hello. Thank you for stopping by and reading my story. I'm glad you liked it. Did you like it all, or is there a specific part? Also, thank you for posting and letting me know. Very few people do.

2Ol2 - I knew you went away! That's why after about 20 minutes I went away too, to cook, and had to proofread my sister's string quartet arrangement for a song. Back now.
I'll admit it here and now, that I did not revise for my GCSEs until 3 days before an examination. And A-levels about 5 days before. Was never shadowed by any kind of exam :P
Ooh, right. Yes, AoG does bring in new faces to these parts, but it would take a lot more than one story competition to regenerate this place, I fear.

Yeah felt like going off the computer then, ate then played the piano and read some more pages of Deception Point by Dan Brown ^_^ .
Here for around half an hour.
A mixture of these competitions and inscentives had really invigorated me to write since I soon realised how enjoyable it is to let one's imagination run wild with thoughts and ideas. Of course, reading the works (like this one) of established and greater authors like you here had inspired me to aim for your level. =)
I'm 16 so two years younger than you meaning that I can hopefully achieve what you have in two years time.

Whisper-yelling is when you whisper, but realllly loudly. xD And you did get my heart juices pumping, haha. I think the ability to stir your readers' emotions says a lot about an author.
I wouldn't know, I haven't logged on in game for a little over a year. xD I just decided to see which of the threads I was on years ago were still here. Which, surprisingly enough leads me to how I found this story. I was on Elite's old story "In Bad Company," and he qfc'd his adopt a writer thread. I went there to look around, and decided to read a couple of the mentors' stories. I opened up maybe two or three, but only had enough time to finish this one, haha.

2Ol2: You like Dan Brown, eh? My favourite author is Ian McEwan...lol. I did English Literature for my A level so I am now more geared towards reading literary works rather than stuff like Twilight... :|
Yeah, I think the AoG competition is really good for the community. I didn't join it because, well, it's really to do with funorb and it's not as open to interpretation as the last story contest. And personally I don't really like to write battle scenes and violence and such, which is why I feel if I were to write an entry it'd be difficult to make the writing experience personal.
Yeah, writing should be an enjoyable experience and you should definitely try it out. I, however, write because I wish to express, and to communicate what otherwise in my real life I could not. It is why I write really.
Thanks, but I don't really consider myself an established or great writer at all. When it comes to writing I get very self-conscious. My stories tend to reflect something of me. Particularly introspective, I'd imagine, rather than the imagination/fantasy kind with strange creatures.
As for this story, I first started writing it, and posted it, at 16, but of course the version wasn't so good then, and there were lots of grammatical errors and stylistic things which I sharpened over the years. But as I said, this story no longer demonstrates what I am fully capable of, and sometimes, when you look at a work of yours, written some three years ago, you'll think, 'Nah......' :P
Orion: Oh right! Yes, Elite is a fabulous writer, and he has great ideas to regenerate the story community too. I simply helped around :P . You know, sometimes being an author is about being mean. Particularly the way they commit the readers feelings into the characters and really relish that moment. Yep, some writers are evil.

In response to your earlier post, life is good. Sorry I missed you on the messenger earlier. I was away from my keyboard...your address doesn't work for me, I always get an error message when I try to send you something. :(

Hey English how's life? =). My Romance Epic is on a steady pace and making decent progress but I guess, because of the holidays, there are too many inscentives for fun so I frequently procrastinate... But anyway, it is coming on nicely and again I thank you for this story which provided me the inspiration.
